Tato bakalářská práce obsahuje přehled v současné době nejběžněji používaných pohonných jednotek letadel. Stručně vysvětluje jejich účel a princip činnosti. Uvádí také nejpodstatnější vlivy na jejich práci a v závislosti na nich i oblasti vhodného použití jejich jednotlivých kategorií. Nejobsáhlejší část práce je věnována popisu hlavních částí pohonných jednotek a jejich funkce. V závěru jsou v krátkosti naznačeny některé možné směry jejich vývoje. This bachelor’s thesis deals with review of today most used aircraft power units. Briefly explains their purpose, working principle and most important influences on their function. Voluminous passage informs about main parts of aircraft power units and their functions. At the end of this thesis the directions of aircraft power units development are presented.
