Wong Kar-Wai - His Feature Films
Ševčík, Julius ; Marek, Petr (advisor) ; Pivoda, Tomáš (referee)
Wong Kar-Wai one of today´s most highly acclaimed directors. In the first chapter of the thesis I analyze each of Wong´s formal techniques individually. These techniques involve "mysterization" of reality, specific screen-writing technique, fragmental story-telling, montage, inner monologues and the visual world Wong together with his long term collaborators DoP Christopher Doyle and set designer and editor William Chang create. In the second chapter I analyze each of Wong´s films individually. These films include As tears go by, Days of being wild, Ashes of time, Chungking express, Fallen Angels, Happy together, In the mood for love and 2046. With each film I describe the genesis of the project, its narrative content and most of all it´s formal specifics and style. I also follow the genesis of the techniques Wong uses to tell his theme of love, time and loss which is the key theme of his entire filming carrier.
O vybraných modelech pro částečnou obnovu
Ševčík, Jaroslav ; Volf, Petr
Models of imperfect repairs are based on the reduction of cumulated hazard rate, either directly or indirectly. Other set of models connects the repair with the change of time scale. Further, repair degree can be connected with the reduction of the deterioration. We discuss mainly the question of repair schemes, their consequences, and possibilities of an 'optimal' repair policy leading to the hazard rate stabilization.
Opravitelné systémy s částečnou opravou
Ševčík, Jaroslav
The construction and analysis of repair models is an important area in relaibility. A commonly used models are the perfect repair model and the minimal repair model. In the first case each repair restores the state of a failed system to a level equivalent to a new one, whereas in the second case the repair restores the state of the system to its level prior failure. However, both of these models seems to be inadequate to model most realistic repair strategies. Therefore, the repair lying somewhere between perfect and minimal repair is of great signification in practice. The contribution deals with such kind of repair, usually called partial or general repair. Various ways of modeling the impact of partial repairs on a system condition will be mentioned. One useful general model of partial repair will be described in detail and the estimation procedure of unknown parameters in this case will be examined.
