Surveying Conditions for the Creation of Clusters Making full use of Local Renewable Resources in various Regions
Gecelovská, Jana ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Weger, Jan (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to plot the conditions which influence creation of supplier- consumer relationship (of nets, clusters) focused on usage of renewable sources of energy. Short rotation coppices (SRC) were emphasized. There was processed general issue of countryside evelopment, unemployment trend in agriculture and possibilities of activities diversification in relation with SRC production in theoretical part of my thesis. Research realisation of production significance together with SRC usage in countryside areas awareness was included in the applied part. Obtained knowledge and information were analyzed and evaluated. Output of this thesis can be used to infrom involved subjects and routine utilisation.
The possibility of exploitation of local renewable energy sources with regard to the harvest technology and utilization of fast-growing trees - a study
Strnad, Martin ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Jílek, David (referee)
This thesis deals with the fast-growing trees (FGT). The aim of the work will be to create a list of parameters, limiting or conditioning the creation of supply chains (or clusters), focused on the exploitation of local renewable energy sources. The theoretical part will focus on the harvest of FGT and their possible utilization. The practical part includes the views of people, representing different areas. The practical part will also include the calculation of area performance and initial costs in setting up FGT at the village of Smilovy Hory. In conclusion, findings will be summarized and evaluated.
Determination of the size of fast-growing woody plants for sustainable heat supply small communities (Úsilné u Českých Budějovic)
Kalaš, Vladislav ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Hiršová, Miloslava (referee)
This diploma thesis addresses the issues regarding fast-growing wood (hereinafter referred to as FGW). Its goal is to analyze the energy intensity of fuels in a selected municipality, namely Úsilné u Českých Budějovic, and to determine the necessary agricultural land expanse for the eventual introduction of FGW vegetation which could replace the usual energy sources in the future.
Surveying Conditions for the Creation of Clusters Making full use of Local Renewable Resources in various Regions
Raszka, David ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Kravka, Miroslav (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to survey the economic conditions of the establishment, management and other operations of plantations of fast growing trees (FGT). Based on the assessment factors significantly affecting FGT projects and their economic profitability, business success is evaluate. In the theoretical part is processed use of wood biomass and the practical part is compiled on research ,calculation of firewood from FGT and production process of FGT. As a practical example of efficient use of biomass activities of Slovakian company Biomas is described.
The comparison of selected plant cultures as different energy resources
PAVELOVÁ, Lenka
This bachelor thesis was made by form of literature retrieval, eventually added of any tables and graphic design of acquired data and own commentary (discussion) to the literature details. The aim of the work will assess the suitability of selected crops for cultivation in energy use with respekt to growing thein technology and assess the suitability of biomass for different wals of processing and energy recovery. A brief outline of the economic, ecological and economic importace of the topic. In the second chapter of literature review are provided information about renewable energy sources, what the renewable energy resources are, their significance and use. The chapter also discusses the importance and use of biomass as energy source, characteristic of various types of biomass and finally is mentioned the future of biomass. In the third chapter ?Selection and cultivation of plants for energy recovery? summarizes the information about selected woody and non-woody crops characteristic for energy use. It is these crops - grains, maize, fast growing woody plants, monocultures of grass, clover mixture, monoculture legumes, herbs, permanent grassland: the productive and out of productive importance. For individual crops are processed: general characteristics of plants, botanical classification, requirements for habitat, agricultural engineering, harvesting and post harvest treatment. Below are listed possibilities of production and outlined the use of crops for energy purposes. The fourth chapter deals with the ways of using biomass for energy purposes. By using wood, straw and energy crops for direct combustion of biomass to produce biogas and other forms of exploitation. Finally in the fifth chapter is a summary of key findings and recommendations resulting from studying issue, extended tables and graphical processing.
Importance of tree plantation of fast growing species for landscape creation and industrial usage
KOHOUT, Pavel
Usability of single poplar clones like fast growing energy crops for growth effect on soil humidity, wind retardation, noise absorption and soil sanitation effect of various old growth was studied in 2007 in South of Bohemia. Plantations consisted of {\clqq}Japan poplar`` {--} Jap 104*049 ( P. nigra L. x P. maximowiczii Henry {\clqq}Maxvier``), Jap 105*050 049 ( P. nigra L. x P. maximowiczii Henry {\clqq}Maxfünf``). The results are focused on evaluation of soil moisture in different months and at different lenght of sunlight and precipitation. Next, influence of wind absorbing and noise retardation in different distance from plantation, sanitation effect of fast growing energy crops in and outside growth in non-cultivate part and influence of growth on soil compaction in 4-year and newly planted growth and on permanent grass undergrowth were evaluated. Experiments showed that plantations of fast growing trees can be used also for non-energetic purpose.
Analyse of protective functions of forest crops totalled by the fast-growing timber species
HOMOLKA, Lukáš
The goal of thesis is an analyse of protective functions of fast-growing timber species and a set of theirs part in the total non-energic meaning. The meaning of these timber species is very wide. The analyse is focused on first of all ameliorative function, and on sinking of wind erosion impact, then on insulating function, containing appreciation of impact on sinking of noisiness and catch of dustiness in an environment, and sanitation function which is represented by the production of oxygen.
Universal meaning of growths the fast - growing poplars.
CHALOUPKA, Jiří
The aim of those thesis was an analysis of a off - producing function the fast - growing growths namely in the several standpoints. I deal with a prosecution of the fast - growing poplars in a theoretic part at first. Then I specifyed the three main functions the fast - growing timber species namely at an off - producing usage. It means a function ameliorative, sanitation, aesthetic, biological, produce and insulative here. Mostly I then attended to an water and windy erosion.
Production of fast growing trees in agriculture of Czech Canada
Hančl, Matyáš ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Malík, Karel (referee)
In the theoretical part of this work I will explain basic keywords for understanding of the entire work. I would like to explain here related theory of renewable energy resources, planting of fast growing trees, their species and possibilities of production. Also here will be indicated and introduced positive influences of cultivation fast growing trees and in required rate explained terms related to drainage conditions in the countryside and the countryside character. Further I will focus on specific opportunities of utilization fast growing trees and I will explain practical influences on local economy, ecology a other thing in necessary rate. In the practical part of this work will be projected concrete placement of stands in the river basin of Dračice river and here will be also accounted provisions for a specific country and economic requirements.
Business plan of energy plantation
Bydžovský, Matěj ; Srpová, Jitka (advisor) ; Kešner, Martin (referee)
The aim of the dissertation is to create the clear directions for setting up of the business plan and to create also the real business plan of the short rotation energy plantation. The dissertation consists of two main parts. The theoretical part describes the structure of the business plan and the principles for setup, the application part contains the real business plan of the planting short rotation coppices, which could be used both as a decision tool for realization of this project in practice and as the documentation for an application for a bank loan. The business plan mentions the market opportunity, the description of the woody species, the technology of founding, growing and harvesting of the plantation, the financial plan, SWOT analysis and possible risks with suggestions for solutions.
