Preventive system against icing of overhead wires

This bachelor thesis deals with protection of overhead lines from icing with a focus on chemical treatment. The introductory part of the work focuses on the description of the overhead line and icing. The next part presents methods of prevention against icing on overhead lines. Various anti-icing systems and fluids are described here. The last part focuses on the result of this thesis and analyses the acquired knowledge.
Proposal of Reduction Product Quality Costs in Tafonco SpA

Diploma thesis is focused on the area of quality management in engineering copany. Based on a detailed analysis of the current situation, identifies the critical points of the investigated area. The thesis deals with the PAF model in greater detail which is also the subject of the practical part. It contains suggestions and changes, including the removal of undesired conditions that ensure greater transparency of quality costs management. Part of this work are theoretical bases to complement the practical part and represent the knowledge of quality management. Financial burdens and benefits associated with the implementation of the changes are expressed by using the calculation of costs and expected benefits of the proposed changes. Last part of this thesis, are mention topics that would be appropriate in connection with the economics of quality further processed.

The prevention of cyberbullying

The main objective of the bachelor thesis is to create a mobile application for Android devices, which has a playful way to instruct the user about the potential dangers of the Internet and thus the prevention of cyberbullying. The first chapter is about the issue of cyberbullying, describes the characteristics, methods, tools and impacts. The next chapter describes how to protect internet user to avoid becoming a victim of cyber-bullying and advices on how to behave when the user is already a victim of cyberbullying. The third chapter is devoted to application design and implementation details. The fourth chapter describes and graphically shows the results of testing applications.

Selection of the risk sources and their assessment in the explosives operations

The Master´s thesis concerns with the choice of sources of risks and their evaluation with storage of explosives. It is divided into four parts. The first two parts are research ones and they deal with accesses to the choice of sources of risks with storage of explosives and statutory requirements for explosives, their storage, manipulation and transport and then with the buildings, which the explosives are stored in. In the next part the accesses to selection and evaluation of sources of risks in real storage units are chosen and compared. In the final part there is the chosen methodology used in case studies.
Methodology of identification of revisions and inspections of technical equipment for a manufacturing company based on the requirements of ISO 45001

This work deals with the issue of inspections and revisions of technical equipment according to safe operation standards on the basis of OSH and FP requirements. In the introduction, these fields of work safety and fire protection are described, which will be used in later parts of the work. Subsequently, the term „technical equipment“ and subcategories of this issue are defined, with each of the subcategories being specifically approached. As a result, the thesis describes why it is necessary to regularly inspect the technical equipment, while the individual types of inspections are subsequently defined. This is accompanied by the distribution of the person’s rights to carry out individual inspections and the distribution of responsibility for the inspections carried out. The acquired knowledge is then used to create a model of the process of regulation of inspections and revisions and to create an overview of periodic inspections and revisions of technical equipment for a manufacturing company. This model and review of inspections are then considered the output of this bachelor’s thesis.

Road-traffic accident rate

This thesis deals with description of the former state and reviews reconstructions dangerous sections of roads where there were frequent accidents with large material damage and heavy or fatal injuries. This thesis describes and proposed further preventive action, particularly for pedestrians and cyclists, which leads to a reduction in traffic accidents. At the conclusion of this work is also recommended for drivers to attend a course on the polygon circuit to increase driving experience of a different kind of road surface and for different weather conditions (dry surface, rain, ice, snow).
Diagnostics of medium voltage and high voltage circuit breakers

This bachelor work is focused on medium-voltage and high-voltage circuit breakers and their diagnostics. The thesis presents the history of HV circuit breakers and their main division. Subsequently, the relevant standards are listed in the work and diagnostics of the MV circuit breaker VD4 and the HV circuit breaker S1-245 from AEG is performed. In case of the VD4 circuit breaker, a new and used circuit breaker was diagnosed. The measured values are then compared and the impact of usage is shown. The work describes the measurement of main contact resistance, insulation resistance, closing and opening times and vacuum quality.
