Methods of Social Work with Foreigners in Center which Support Integration of Foreigners
ŠVECOVÁ, Natálie
This bachelor thesis focuses on the methods of social work with foreigners in integration support centers. The main objective of the thesis is to identify which methods are most commonly used in working with foreigners for their integration. The secondary objective is to assess the effectiveness of these social work methods aimed at integration. The thesis is divided into two parts: the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part introduces the issue and topic of the thesis. It describes organizations that assist foreigners with their integration into society, their services, legislation, and specific methods of social work. The second, practical part is research-oriented. The research was conducted through qualitative methods using semi-structured interviews with workers from integration support centers. Informants for the research were intentionally selected based on the topic of the thesis, specifically social workers from integration support centers. The research results indicate that the most frequently used method is individual work with clients, which allows social workers to tailor interventions to the specific needs of individual foreigners. Another significant method is field social work, which includes actively seeking out foreigners. Community work also proved to be important as it supports the building of social networks and raises awareness of available services. Regarding the effectiveness of these methods, respondents agreed that individual client work is the most effective. This method allows for a deeper understanding and resolution of specific problems faced by foreigners, leading to better integration outcomes. The effectiveness of social work methods is primarily measured by centers through client feedback, satisfaction surveys, and monitoring the return rate of clients to the provided services. These findings provide valuable insights into the practices and outcomes of social work with foreigners in Czech integration support centers and can serve as a basis for further research and improvement in this field.
Lifelong learning for intensive care nurses
HOMOLOVÁ, Hana
The aim of the thesis was to describe the interest and approach to the lifelong education of nurses in the field of intensive care. We focused on the areas of education and on the forms and methods that are most often used for lifelong learning. Further education requires orientation of nurses in the area defined by legislation, professional education and motivation. Deepening of knowledge and skills leads to the improvement of the quality of care for critically ill patients who are in intensive care units. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the foundations for understanding the issue of lifelong education of nurses in the field of intensive care. The research part was implemented using the method of quantitative research, through a non-standardized questionnaire survey. The participants were general nurses, of different ages, levels of education, from different fields of intensive care, types of hospitals and regions of the Czech Republic. The research group consisted of 216 nurses. Several conclusions emerged from the research investigation. Nurses are interested in deepening their knowledge in technical skills, but are limited by time, family and finances. That is why they choose e-learning as a form of further education organized by the employer. We discovered that nurses do not feel sufficiently supported by the employer for further professional education. Employers cover the costs associated only with the specialized study, the so-called ARIP. It doesn´t cover the costs associated with the education in the form of a subsequent master's study. Specialized education ensures the nurse's professional competence. Lifelong education contributes to maintaining competencies. In our investigation, a statistical relationship was observed between orientation in this area and the highest level of education achieved. As the level of education increases, the orientation of nurses in this area increases. We did not demonstrate a relationship between specialized education, the so-called ARIP, length of experience and orientation in the field of lifelong learning. We consider simulation teaching to be the most effective method of lifelong learning

Cholek, Matej
The use of chosen kinds of recycled plastics and their processing In this bachelor’s thesis the individual methods of processing specific kinds of plastic waste were discussed. In particular, general methods of dealing with such waste, its chemical composition, thermochemical procedures, and specific cases of process realization. In this paper methods such as conventional, plasmatic or microwave pyrolysis treating were discussed together with its obstacles. Specific discussed examples are pyrolytic treating of plastic mixtures simulating average content of plastic kinds across Europe. Also, coprocessing of polyethylene pellets with used cooking oil as well as the processing of polyethylene pellets with composite packaging such as laminates combined with aluminum, as the resource of such aluminum. With the aim to meet recycling quotas of European directive. The results of such cases are discussed below, this paper aim to summarize part of the issue of plastic waste management and to further discuss the solutions.

Benešová, Petra ; Suková Vychopňová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Klinka, Tomáš (referee)
This diploma thesis focuses on the use of audiovisual documents in teaching French as a foreign language. The aim of this thesis is to describe the ways and methods of the employment of audiovisual documents in contemporary teaching focusing on the selected range of textbooks. In the first part, the thesis resumes the development of teaching methodology putting emphasis on the methods using the audiovisual documents and the role of this teaching materials defined by the CEFRL and in its Companion Volume published in 2018. The thesis also deals with the question of planning the didactical unit including an audiovisual document and resumes its stages which lead to the development of all language skills. The second part of the thesis analyses the use of the audiovisual documents in the textbooks for children, teenagers and adults. The analysed textbooks cover all language levels existing for the target group. The analysis focuses on types and methods of the employment of the audiovisual documents. These methods, proposed in the textbooks or other additional materials, are compared to the theoretical recommendations summarized in the first part of the thesis. The results of the analysis are summed up in the final chapter which enables the comparison among the textbooks and publishers, and which...
