Moravske Branice - Oslavany Track Speed Increase
Hrdlička, Šimon ; Křemen, Tomáš (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the increase of a track speed in the section Moravske Branice – Oslavany. The thesis attempts to obtain a speed increase by modifying the existing geometric parameters of the track in the scope of the regular maintenance, in some cases even more thorough, yet still not that costly. The assessment of geometric parameters of the track is done according to the standard CSN 73 6360-1. It is also assessed whether the individual railway crossings meet the conditions for the track speed increase. Part of the thesis is also the design of speed for vehicles with a permitted cant deficiency of 130 mm.

Boskovice Connection Study
Jung, Jiří ; Sobotka, Lukáš (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis solves the design of the railroad called Boskovice connection, which is a line allowing direct connection for trains from Brno to Boskovice outside the railway station Skalice nad Svitavou. In the course of the work, the route of the connection is planned, including the connection to the Rajec-Jestrebi – Skalice nad Svitavou and Skalice nad Svitavou – Boskovice track section.

Speed increasing for the Havlíčkův Brod - Humpolec railway track
Turoň, Martin ; Maršalík, Jakub (referee) ; Hruzíková, Miroslava (advisor)
The theme of this bachelor´s thesis deals with an increase of the operating speed for the track Havlíčkův Brod – Humpolec. The speed increase is considered for present track geometry parameters which complies with the standard ČSN 73 6360-1. Track geometry parameters changes are designed in places of train speed restrictions and they don’t cause any significant changes in the railway track. Switches and crossings and railway crossings have an influence on the operating speed. The thesis deals with solutions of speed restrictions on the railway crossings.

Design of Modernization of Polička Railway Station
Zvejška, Ivo ; Burda, Petr (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
The goal of the diploma thesis is a design of the reconstruction of the Polička railway station in aim to fulfil the requirements for the movement of people with reduced mobility. It was necessary to design platforms with a height of the platform edge 550 mm above rail level. It was also required to increase the design speed in main tracks as well as to reconstruct conections of sidings. There was also included the design of reconstruction of drainage system of railway tracks.
