Development of problems in contemporary cities in South America * City of La Paz

This thesis is divided in two literary bodies, the first one a comparative analysis among cities in Latina America and the second one about successful case of Curitiba city. So then, for better understanding the problems of cities in Latin America and especially of La Paz city, which is main analysis of this lecture, within the context of the historical process of contemporary urbanism, where we may find some answers to the origin of urban problems and even some others that will provide guidelines as developed cities in America, which is why we address a synthesis of aspects on historical urbanism where we find references to how cities are hatched. Moreover, the reading also focuses on analyzing the case of the city of Curitiba, where we investigate the possible application of the principles of strategic planning focused on urban sustainability, this reading aims to extract the urban experience which has been subject Curitiba, like other cities in Latin America in the mid to late twentieth century, Curitiba suffered the same problems as other cities, rapid growth, traffic congestion and decreased quality of life, these are some of the challenges Curitiba faced with creative solutions within a context of sustainable development. To propose a set of solutions or proposals to the reality that faces La Paz city, we must first achieve a better understanding of the historical urban processes that have shaped and transformed and later, make an analysis, if the Curitiba ideas and experience could be applied towards the reality of the city.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá edicemi frankofonní literatury pro děti a mládež v průběhu dvacátého století a zároveň také sleduje ediční politiku týkající se této literatury.Diplomová práce je vytvořena na bázi katalogu děl, která jsou rozdělena dle jednotlivých žánrů. Tyto žánry a jejich vývoj slouží jako základ pro teoretickou část této práce. Praktická část práce se sestává z katalogu, který obsahuje již zmiňovaná díla. Práce obsahuje také přílohy, které zpracovávají z různých hledisek údaje získané z katalogu.

Vývoj porcelánového průmyslu na Karlovarsku ve 20. století

Bakalářská práce bude pojednávat o vývoji porcelánového průmyslu na Karlovarsku ve 20. století. V teoretické části nejprve autor ve stručnosti uvádí samotné počátky porcelánového průmyslu, jeho vznik v Číně, ekonomické aspekty a okolnosti jeho geneze v Čechách, především v oblasti Karlovarska. Jádro práce je věnováno vývoji porcelánového průmyslu ve století dvacátém a je mu věnována analytická část. V analytické části se autor zabývá především situací porcelánového průmyslu v souvislosti s odsunem německého obyvatelstva, neboť porcelánový průmysl se vždy nacházel především v oblastech, jež byly až do roku 1945 osídleny primárně obyvatelstvem německé národnosti a je proto zřejmé, že musel být tímto aktem výrazně ovlivněn. Dalším dílčím cílem je pak samotný vývoj porcelánového průmyslu ve dvacátém století, především v období od konce 1. sv. války až po privatizaci porcelánového průmyslu v letech 1992 -- 1994.Ve své práci autor dochází k závěru, že němečtí specialisté nemohli být okamžitě odsunuti, neboť byla jejich role v porcelánovém průmyslu skutečně důležitá. Nicméně odsouváni byli a tato skutečnost ovlivnila v negativním směru kvalitu výrobků, export na zahraniční trhy i samotný objem výroby.
