Simplifying Plant Care with Plantiful: A Comprehensive Plant Care App

Caring for plants is not easy for many people. It requires knowledge, it takes time and each plant has different requirements. Platinful is a mobile app developed by three high school students designed to simplify plant care. The app is connected to an external plant recognition API, Plant.id, which provides the app with comprehensive plant care information, watering intervals, and general recommendations for indoor and outdoor plants. This article discusses the development of the Plantiful app, its features, and its potential impact on conservation efforts.

Sdílená doprava pro pracovníky nemocnice

Tato práce se zaměřuje na návrh a vývoj mobilní aplikace pro zaměstnance Fakultní nemocnice Olomouc, kteří čelí problému s nedostatkem parkovacích míst v areálu. Aplikace řeší tuto situaci prostřednictvím sdílených jízd při cestách do práce a z práce. Je implementována pro platformy Android a iOS ve frameworku React Native, s použitím cloudové služby Firebase jako backend. Hlavním přínosem této práce je propracovaný uživatelský výzkum, kterého se účastnilo přes 1000 zaměstnanců nemocnice. Kromě výzkumu a celkově mobilního vývoje řeší práce samotnou implementaci aplikace s využitím moderních přístupů. Výsledná aplikace je připravena na brzké vydání a pilotní provoz v nemocnici, čímž představuje důležitý krok směrem k praktickému nasazení v reálném prostředí.

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem mobilní aplikace pro supermarkety. Tento návrh je určen pro operační systém Android a klade důraz na uživatelské prostředí, které optimalizuje implementací nových funkcí. Výsledkem je wireframe zobrazující rozmístění jednotlivých prvků v rámci aplikace.

Design and Implementation of a User Interface for a Mobile Application of an Information System to Simplify Work Processes in the KOFI-KOFI Coffee Shop Chain

The bachelor thesis is focused on the design of the implementation of the user interface of the application for employees in the company KOFI KOFI on the basis of the current information system. The thesis includes an analysis of the current information system, including the problems of the current information system and a SWOT analysis that describes the weaknesses and strengths along with the opportunities and threats in creating a mobile application. Subsequently, a solution design is created to meet the requirements from the employees. It includes a technical solution for the application that proposes the use of a hybrid application with the help of Flutter, data and functional modeling along with an economic evaluation that addressed the financial budget required to create the application.

Mobilní aplikace pro přesnou navigaci zemědělských strojů

Cílem této práce je vytvořit polní navigaci a GNSS systém pro přesnou lokalizaci. Při jízdě po poli je vhodné jezdit přesně po liniích, aby nevznikaly opakované přejezdy nebo naopak volná místa. Přesná jízda může šetřit osivo, postřik, pohonné hmoty a spoustu dalšího. Aplikace polní navigace spravuje pole, stroje atd. Cílem aplikace je navigování po navržených liniích. Spolu s mobilní aplikací vznikl i GNSS systém pro příjem přesného signálu s RTK korekcí. Výsledky testování ukazují, že při využití přesného přijímače lze vytvořenou aplikaci využít i v praxi při běžných pracích.

Mobile application for remote therapy of hypokinetic dysarthria

Hypokinetic dysarthria is a motor speech disorder that is a common symptom of Parkinson’s disease. Currently, the 3F test is used in the Czech Republic for the diagnosis of dysarthria, on the basis of which a therapeutic material for dysarthria therapy has been developed. The material contains a large number of exercises from which the clinical speech therapist selects the appropriate exercises for the patient based on the previous diagnosis. Dysarthria tends to be a fluctuating condition, therefore the therapy plan needs to be adapted over time to the patient’s current condition. This is the reason why there is a need for a therapeutic mobile application that would simplify the work of the speech therapist and make the patient’s therapy more comfortable. The goal of this thesis is to design, implement and test such a therapeutic application and web interface that will be used by speech therapists to manage patients’ treatment plans. The result of the work is a functional multiplatform therapeutic application with an administration web interface. The server side of the application is implemented using Django framework in Python and the user interface is implemented using React Native and React frameworks in TypeScript.

Communication System for the Volunteer Fire Department

The process of gathering volunteer firefighters in case of an emergency is often not optimal. In critical situations, every second counts. The goal of this thesis is to create a mobile application that simplifies the process of informing volunteer firefighters about an emergency event. The resulting product will be a mobile application for the Android operating system, capable of rapidly sending SMS messages to all members of the volunteer fire department in case of an emergency and subsequently receiving their responses.

This paper describes the development of a decentralized mobile application for the Android operating system, using the 1-out-of-k Blockchain-Based Boardroom Voting protocol. The paper describes the motivation for writing the work, the general concepts associated with the development of decentralized applications, describes the development plan, describes the selected technology, implementation and testing of application, peculiarities when working with Flutter when interacting with Solidity smart contracts.

Ovládání mobilní aplikace hlasem

Cílem této práce je prozkoumat, analyzovat a porovnat dostupné knihovny pro ovládání mobilních aplikací hlasovými pokyny. Zvolený problém jsem dle zadání práce řešil hlavně pro operační systém Android a bral jsem v potaz nejen knihovny pro detekci klíčových slov, ale i knihovny se zaměřením na porozumění řeči. Pro zvolené knihovny jsem provedl testování přesnosti detekce hlasových pokynů a zátěžové testy. Pro potřeby propojení vybraných knihoven vznikla aplikace v moderním programovacím jazyce Kotlin s využitím Jetpack Compose. Hlavním přínosem této práce jsou právě provedené experimenty a výsledná doporučení ohledně zkoumaných knihoven. Mezi nejefektivnější řešení patřila ta od Microsoft Azure a třída Android Speech Recognizer. Hlavními překážkami pro jednotlivé knihovny byla vzdálenost mezi řečníkem a mikrofonem a rušivá hudba v pozadí.

App Supporting Strength Sports Training

This thesis presents a novel approach for strength sports performance analysis using a human pose estimation machine learning model. The implemented solution employs the RTMPose model to estimate keypoints, then derive the barbell position from the wrist coordinates, and compute performance metrics without requiring specific camera angles or visible weight plates. The proposed method enhances traditional resistance training by providing feedback and performance metrics such as mean velocity. The solution was proved effective in both gym and home environments, even without barbells. Extensive experiments demonstrate the robustness and wide usability of the solution. Comparison with the professional system Qualisys confirms the validity of the application results.
