THE LATEST TRENDS IN PUBLIC PROCUREMENT LAW

This thesis deals with public procurement law in the Czech Republic. It captures the latest trends in public procurement law, together with the amendment to the Public Procurement Act, which entered into force on 1 April 2012. The opening chapter introduces the concepts that are closely related to the issue of public procurement and corruption. There are explained key institutional control mechanisms in the Czech Republic and criminal liability of corruption. The analytical part of this thesis describes the changes, which the amendment brought into the Public Procurement Law. These changes are mainly assessed in terms of impact on the suppression of corruption. This thesis presents and analyzes the arguments of proponents and opponents of the amendment. The analysis is accompanied by a brief look at the development of legislation on public procurement in the European Union in general and in two selected countries of the European Union. The conclusion contains a summary assessment of the issue along with an outlook for a possible further developments in the legal regulation of public procurement. Based on the analysis, the thesis leads to the conclusion that the amendment of public contracts, despite some shortcomings, is leading to a more transparent procurement environment.

The wage problems from the accounting and tax point of view

The main topic of my thesis is the wage problems from the accounting and tax point of view. First I summarize labour law relations and the arrangements performed outside of the employment contract. A large part of this thesis is devoted to payroll matters, namely providing and paying wages. The next chapter deals with the problems of health insurance and social insurance. The following chapter is devoted to personal income tax and fringe benefits valid until 1.1.2011. The individual chapters provide examples for better understanding. In conclusion I try to describe the methods of calculating wages. My intention is to bring the main principles of wage problems closer to the extensive area of laws and to provide easier orientation in payroll accounting and the conditions of legal regulations in the Czech Republic

It will containe a proposal for an introduction recovery of a system of recovery of debts for a businessman - physical person.

The symbolism of colours in the organizational culture

The work deals with the symbolism of colours in relation to the organizational culture. It is based on the knowledge concerning the relationship between the contents and means of the organizational culture, it also focuses specifically on the presentation of selected material artifacts which are presented to the public by the company Lesostavby Třeboň, a. s. Based on the reserch questionnaire, the values inventory and the interview it was found that the symbolism presented by the company Lesostavby Třeboň, a. s. matches the organizational culture. The information obtained was summarized in tables and bar graphs, including the resulting recommendations for the company Lesostavby Třeboň, a. s.

Payroll Accounting

The bachelor thesis deals with a payroll accounting and its main goal is to get the most important elements of the payroll accounting in a chronological sequence of the work of accountants and to notice the legislative changes in the year 2012. The most important changes relate to the labour code which is described in the first chapter. A mechanism of a wage and payments for an insurance and income tax follows in the second chapter. At the end of the thesis is a practical example of the fictitious company which shows how a type of a contract of an employment can influence a calculating of a net wage.

Internal development and foreign policy of independent Indonesia

The first part of the thesis is focused on internal development of an independent Indonesia, the transition from colonialism to the present day democratic arrangement. Furthermore, the mapping of modern Indonesian history in time and space dimensions , and comparatively across cultures and civilization of the population practices the Indonesian archipelago and then indirect and Southeast Asia. Part of this development are separatist tendencies of East Timor , West New Guinea and the Tamil Tigers , Aceh. The second part of this work will deal with foreign policy and relations with other countries in the world . Changes in orientation and cooperation between Indonesia, various regimes ruling in the history of independent Indonesia. Participation and influence in international organizations, both regional and global character, but also about the relationship between Indonesia and the Czech Republic.

Conspiracy Theories and Disinformation in the Islamic World from the Perspective of Western Countries and Their Foreign Policy

This Master's thesis deals with conspiracy theories and disinformation, a topic received with insufficient attention in the field of international relations. The phenomenon constitutes one of the most distinctive features of the Islamic world; therefore, it has significant importance for the Western foreign policy towards the region. The thesis is divided into four chapters and aims to provide Western countries with a set of foreign-policy recommendations in relation to the phenomenon of conspiracy theories and disinformation in the Islamic world. The thesis does so on the basis of a thorough analysis of the general mechanisms of conspiracy theories (1st chapter), and the specific conditions and circumstances of their emergence and dissemination in the Islamic world (2nd chapter). The study of the case of Aafia Siddiqui (3rd chapter) leads to the conclusion that the implication of conspiracy theories and disinformation in the activities of Islamic extremist groups represents a serious security threat for the Western countries, which the current policy leaves with no adequate response (4th chapter). As an outcome, the thesis proposes ten basic principles which should serve to the Western countries as a guideline for their approach to conspiracy theories and disinformation in the Islamic world. The main import of this thesis lies in it being one of the first attempts with regard to the researched topic to perform a comprehensive analysis with practical outcomes.

This Bachelor´s thesis deals with the tax system of the Czech Republic and Ireland and in particular the tax individuals in these countries. There are practical examples. This thesis deals with administrative issues related to the work of the Czechs in Ireland and the Irish in the Czech Republic too. It clarifies the avoidance of double taxation in terms of international treaties No 163/1996 Digest.

The termination of membership in a Limited Liability Company and Joint Stock Company - abstract The purpose of this thesis is to summarize and analyze selected possibilities of termination of membership in a Limited Liability Company and Joint Stock Company together with related consequences of such termination. I have aimed especially to the actual legal regulation contained mostly in the Czech Commercial Code however taking into consideration the decision making practice of the Czech Supreme Court as well. Within the writing of this thesis I have also reviewed upcoming new regulation contained within the Act on Business Corporation. The thesis is composed of foreword, three chapters and conclusion, where the second and third are most important ones as they deal with the two most usual kinds of business corporation in the Czech Republic - Limited Liability Company and Joint Stock Company. The first chapter represents general foreword in respect of the membership in a corporation. Chapter two is composed of eight parts. Part 1 - 7 deals with specific reasons for termination of membership in a Limited Liability Company (agreement, transfer of business interest, court-ordered termination, expulsion, bankruptcy and distraint, death and winding-up) and part 8 deals with consequences of such termination as...
