Trends in promotion and distribution of musical works

This thesis is devoted to an analysis of trends in promotion and distribution of musical works. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the marketing mix, customer behavior, the definition of creative industries and copyright protection. The practical part describes the history and development of the music industry and the structure of music label, presentation opportunities, promotion and distribution of music recordings and music groups. The work also includes marketing research dealing with the sale of music recordings in the Czech Republic. Based on the results of research and analysis of other data it is trying to predict trends in the music industry. The aim of the work is the formulation of specific recommendations on how musical recordings offer to target customers and to refute some claims about transfer music recordings to the edge of the interests of consumers.
Leisure time as searching own identity through music and it?s influence on personal evolution of a human

The thesis is concern with using leisure time in a spiritual way. It points to that a leisure time can be spent not just with a physical unload of a body. It concerns with philosophic anthropology as well as anthropology in common at first qua sciences about a human and presents its history. Its concerns with identity of a human in context with music further, concrete playing the guitar and explore everything in the personal evolve of a human way. The thesis is not focused on national identity or minority issues within the meaning of developmental psychology. It is focused closely on a teenagers in age from 15 to 20 years, so the latest adolescence. The thesis includes questionnaires and short sample conversation with guitar players, who teach guitar play.

This thesis focuses on the British music scene in the 1960s. Popular music was one of the main manifestations of consumerism and influenced the behavior of most young people. The aim of the thesis is to explain the extent in which popular music played a role in the establishment of a consumer society and, above all, the impact caused by interpreters and music groups on the lifestyle of their listeners and audiences.The thesis also examines how the British music developed in the Sixties and how it was characterized.The thesis is based on the assumption that the 1960s' is a key decade in the postwar history of modern society, a time when fundamental changes occurred in the value systems of most Western societies, notably the British. New generations of young people associated with economic prosperity surfaced at that time, fostering the development of the phenomenon of consumer society, thus changing people's lifestyles.The first part of the thesis is dedicated to economic and social assumptions of the development of the consumer society. The second part of the thesis addresses the social structure of the British society, focusing on the youth - arguably, the social extract that was most appealed by popular music. The core part of the thesis analyses the British music scene in the 1960s, with focus on the music groups and also the music industry and its impal on the lifestyle of youth.
Impact of active making music on the quality of life in the later age

It is not just about achieving an advanced age, but also how will the life in this period look like. Even in this time it is possible to influence the quality of life to a certain extent by positive thinking and own activity. This thesis aims to ascertain an impact of active making music to a quality of life in an advanced age. It is focused on life style, life events, family life, social contacts and value system of seniors, which actively make music. The thesis is based on qualitative research, in which a narrative and semi-controlled interview was taken in natural environment of the respondents. All interviews were recorded on a voice recorder with consent of every respondent. Complete interviews are saved in mp3 files on an enclosed CD. Written transcriptions of the interviews are attached as a further annex of this thesis. These were kept in colloquial form of the language for the sake of authenticity, however, due to its length were shortened. During interviews an observation of an exterior, behavior and expression of respondent and his surroundings took place. Gathered data were evaluated by means of analysis of individual cases, comparison of these cases along with simple enumeration method. As emerged from the research, active making music influences positively the quality of life in advanced age. It prevents social isolation, creates and consolidates friendly relations and dilutes inter-generation differences. It supports will and persistence. It helps the seniors keeping their mental freshness. Music enriches emotional life and gives the life a further dimension.
Music Television the Czech Conditions. Tv Óčko

The thesis "Music Television in the Czech Conditions. TV Ocko" deals with the context of the existence of thematic music television in the local environment by the means of a specific case study - the Czech television station TV Ocko - founded in 2002. At the same time, it also addresses the phenomenon of a global music television, MTV. The first part of the text deals with formats that preceded the emergence of music television in both global (before the establishment of MTV as the first music television) and local terms. The second part thoroughly describes the first decade of the existence of the American station MTV (period 1981-1992) applying primarily the economic and production perspectives. Third, the largest part is dedicated to the emergence and development of the Czech music television, TV Ocko (period 2002-2010). The whole phenomenon is viewed here in economic, production and programme terms. The fourth part presents two external views of the local thematic music television: the perspective of a local distributor and that of a producer of a music video.

The work deals with whole description of ritual theory. The first chapter focuses on ritual from point of view its function, rise and meaning in culture. The part two deals with ritual as performance, first of all relation ritual and theatre. The third chapter states some of typology of ritual and important representatives who occupies with ritual and some of theirs main opinions and ideas. The next chapter completes anthropological approaches to ritual with others important anthropologists, who represent this approaches. The fifth chapter devotes other types of ritual, as burial rituals, healing rituals, annual rituals, which are complete with description visual examples.
Celebrity marketing

The target of Master's Thesis is to identify factors of success in celebrity market in the first decade of the 21st century and to formulate recommendations for the Czech Republic for the next 5 to 10 years. The subject of the thesis is to verify applicability of hypothesis: 1. Eccentricity became a factor of success in entertainment industry from 2006 till 2011., 2. Sexual tolerance increased from 2006 till 2011., 3. There is a clear connection between music and fashion industry.; The main methodical instrument was quasi focus group in form of contributions to internet discussion. To qualitative data evaluation was used contentment analysis. Map of perception showed connection between music and fashion industry. The most important factors of success in entertainment industry were: product, performance, eccentricity, originality, humor, style, talent and natural beauty of interpreter. The results confirmed hypothesis number one and number three. The second hypothesis concerning sexual tolerance was not confirmed. The main recommendation for the Czech Republic is to use more eccentricity.
