Room Temperature Advanced Control Algorithms
Glos, Jan ; Graf, Miroslav (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with constructing a thermal model of the specific room and algorithms design for heating and air conditioning. The model is created using Simscape extension for Matlab/Simulink and is based on real attributes of room and its walls (materials, dimensions etc.). This thesis contains design of MPC (Model Predictive Control) and PI controllers. In comparison with the original regulation designed controllers achieve better quality of control and MPC controllers seems to be the best. Because of preliminary for integration of split air conditioner, possibility of control actuators by MPC controller and because of necessary setpoint separation (for heating and air conditioning) software equipment of the individual zone controller was revised.
Applications for analysis of tennis player motions
Kříž, Petr ; Beneš, Radek (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis deals with segmentation of tennis player´s body parts for analysis its motion. Testing code was written in C++ with use of OpenCV library. Some image processing techniques such as thresholding, background subtraction or finding the largest contours were implemented. There was used a linear triangulation technique for calculating the 3D coordinates of segmented points.
The algoritm for estimation of the mechanical torgue on the dynamometer
Jávorka, Szabolcs ; Buchta, Luděk (referee) ; Veselý, Libor (advisor)
This paper deals with the modeling of asynchronous motor. Ccomparing the simulation date to reality. And attempts to find an algorithm for calculating the mechanical torque assist state estimation engine.
RoboAuto - Car Detection
Melo, Jakub ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Juránek, Roman (advisor)
This thesis deals with detection and tracking of cars viewed from behind. For the detection, Adaboost algorithm is used. The tracking is done using Kalman filter. In the first part of the work, theoretical background of the object detection and tracking is described. Experiments with classifier training and their results are presented in the second part of the work.
Tracking of Military Objects in a Videosignal
Hamada, Ondřej ; Váňa, Jan (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
First part of this thesis briefly describes the main problems of object tracking in video and methods to deal with them. Main attention is paid towards usage of these methods for target tracking in videos taken by both normal and thermal camera. It propose solution to this problem based on the kernel-based method which uses mean-shift algorhitm and on the template matching. Both tracking methods results are supervised and corrected by Kalman filter. Proposed solution is implemented using C++ with OpenCV library.
Robot for Robotour 2012
Vass, Robert ; Luža, Radim (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this article is the theoretical analysis, proposal and implementation of a method for the operation of an autonomous robot for Robotour 2012 with the help of camera and sensor usage. Key issues to be faced are the computer vision, robot sensing uncertainty and the localization problem. Firstly, road extraction is achieved by using colour segmentation. Secondly, for the combination of information of different uncertain sources, Kalman Filter is proposed. Finally, the information received by the camera which serves for the building of an occupancy grid map corrected by sensors is de facto the representation of environment for the robot.
Face Anonymizer
Peša, Jan ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis you can find an overview of classification algorithms and their usage especially for searching image data and face detection. First part contains a brief introduction to a pattern recognition, a theoretical background of these algorithms and ways of training them. Other used components are also presented (e.g. Kalman filter or OpenCV library). Second part covers an implementation of the application which uses these technologies for searching, tracking and anononymization of human faces in a video stream.
Detection and Tracking of Small Moving Objects
Filip, Jan ; Zuzaňák, Jiří (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
Thesis deals with the detection and tracking of small moving objects from static images. This work shows a general overview of methods and approaches to detection and tracking of objects. There are also described some other approaches to the whole solution. It also included basic definitions, such a noise, convolution and mathematical morphology. The work described Bayesian filtering and Kalman filter. It described the theory of Wavelets, wavelets filters and transformations. The work deals with different ways of the blob`s detection. It is here the design and implementation of applications, which is based on the wavelets filters and Kalman filter. It`s implemented several methods of background subtraction, which are compared by testing. Testing and application are designed to detect vehicles, which are moving faraway (at least 200 m away).
Object Detection and Tracking Using Interest Points
Bílý, Vojtěch ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Juránek, Roman (advisor)
This paper deals with object detection and tracking using iterest points. Existing approaches are described here. Inovated method based on Generalized Hough transform and iterative Hough-space searching is  proposed in this paper. Generality of proposed detector is shown in various types of objects. Object tracking is designed as frame by frame detection.
Face Detection in Video
Kolman, Aleš ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
The project is focused on face detection in video. Firstly, it contains a summary of basic color models. Secondly, you can find the description and comparison of the basic methods for detection of human skin with a practical example of implementation of parametric detector. Thirdly, a theoretical basis for face detection and face tracking in a video containing a list of basic concepts and methods of this issue follows. Greater emphasis is placed on the description of machine learning algorithm AdaBoost and description of the possible application of the Kalman filter for the purpose of face tracking. Design, implementation and testing of library accomplished within the master thesis are listed in the final part of this thesis.
