Healthy nutrition and eating habits of children in kindergarten.

The bachelor thesis is aimed to the important question relevant to the provision of the healthy lifestyle of the pre-school children. It is about the implementation of the healthy nutrition principles in the nursery school. The topic of the thesis is the children?s nutrition in terms of their healthy growth; nutrition value analysis for various food; how some food can improve the health condition of the child; connection between the healthy nutrition and immunity. Attention is also paid to the risk food (e.g. allergen food, additives, colorants in food). Specific spheres of nutrition are not forgotten, e.g. ecological products, bio-food, macrobiotics and vegetarian diet, and implementation of these principles in the school boarding.
Organoleptic qualities of catering provided to students in students´cafeteria of the South Bohemian University ,Ceske Budejovice as compared with the catering delivered to clients of the South Bohemian Hospital ,Ceske Budejovice, a.s.

The thesis, as the title suggests, deals with the quality and organoleptic characteristics of meals prepared in the Students´ canteen of the University of South Bohemia. In the theoretical part the basic principles and composition of a quality and healthy diet are described with the use of literature, the history and basic information about clinical dietology is mentioned and the importance of organoleptic characteristics is explained. The issue of catering facilities and canteens is also addressed. There is an emphasis on the quality of the diet because this is an integral part of a patient´s treatment and ought to be chosen carefully. In the practical section the results of quantitative survey conducted with the České Budějovice hospital clients and the University of South Bohemia students are shown. This investigation aims to highlight the good quality and the drawbacks of their diet and determine the level of satisfaction both in patients of České Budějovice Hospital and students of the South Bohemian University. Before starting the investigation three hypotheses were stated. Based on data evaluation only the hypothesis number one and the second part of the hypothesis three proved true. The Hypothesis number two and the first part of the hypotheses number three were not confirmed.
Do we know, what we eat?

This thesis is composed of two main parts. In the first part of this work there is theory of healthy nutrition presented. The theoretical part includes, for example: basic informations about healthy nutrition, short list of content substances in food and summary of food additives. Main task of the second (experimental part) was to find out what knowledge have students in second level of primary school (especially pupils of 8th and 9th class) about heatlhy nutrition. There was used a didactic test for students knowledge research. Finally, there are evaluated test results in tables and graphs and summarized most important conclusions. Další část pojednává o zdravé výživě a jejích pravidel u dětí a následující kapitola je věnována alternativám běžných produktů a potravin. V praktické části je uveden vytvořený program {\clqq}Dobrá svačinka``, který se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Na závěr jsou presentovány výstupy z výukového programu.
Nutritional Habits of the Pupils of the Selected Primary Schools in Třebíč

The Diploma Thesis is focused on the nutritional habits of the pupils of the selected primary schools in Třebíč. The nutritional habits and correct diet in children is very important and can be influenced easily. The children are influenced by the family, school, friends and environment they live in, also by the advertisements, especially on TV and the Internet. Correct diet is the one which provides the human organism with the regular and sufficient supply of energy and food. They play a significant role in the healthy growth and development of the organism. Therefore, they are instrumental to keep the condition in the whole life. The diet should be varied and regular. The theoretical part is aimed at delimitation of the characteristics of the school age, description of particular components of the food, importance of drinking routine and the risk of dehydration. Consequently, it describes suitable and unsuitable drinks for children, diet in children and teenagers and related keeping to the regular eating routine and suitability of certain food, principles of the correct diets and food pyramid. The theoretical part pays attention to the kinetic activities, overweight and obesity in children. The practical part brings the results of the research focused on the above issue. The Thesis was elaborated in a quantitative method {--} in the form of questionnaires. The questionnaires were handed round in four primary schools in Třebíč, namely to the eight-class pupils. The monitored set was made up of 208 respondents; 101 girls and 107 boys. In this part, 2 goals and 3 hypotheses were set. The first goal of the Diploma Thesis was to ascertain the diet habits in the second stage of the selected primary schools in Třebíč. The second goal was to record the Body Mass Index of the chosen group of pupils. Hypothesis 1: Eight-class pupils eat insufficient quantity of fruit and vegetables. Hypothesis 1: Eight-class pupils do not keep the drinking routine. Hypothesis 3: Pupils do not have breakfast. Both goals were fulfilled. Hypothesis 1 was rebutted as for fruit consuming. The bulk of the pupils eat fruit every day, in total number of 130 pupils. The second part of the hypothesis was vindicated. The pupils{\crq} board includes vegetables in minimum cases. Only 79 pupils eat vegetables every day. Hypothesis 2 was rebutted. The majority of the informants drink 2 litres of liquids or more. The drinking routine is kept by 135 interviewed pupils. Hypothesis 3 was vindicated. The pupils do not include breakfast in their meals. There are only 93 children who have breakfast regularly. The findings of the Thesis will be offered to schools in question and the interviewed pupils{\crq} parents.
The probe into the allday´s boardy habits of schoolmates in the selective schools and age´s groups.

Theoretical part gives a general outline of diet problem. It characterizes sugars, fats, proteins, vitamins and mineral substances in detail. It devotes to principles of healthy diet, explains the term of food pyramid and food recommended doses. The last chapter deals with the problem of food intake disorders and their syndromes, further it deals with obesity and its causes, prevention and consequential healthy risks. The aim of the practical part is to map unhealthy habits of target group concerning eating. For this purpose, we used quantitative method in the form of questionnaires with subsequent graphic charts of answers.

Adolescents as a group of risk in the sphere of feeding and their active life

The focus of this paper is on movement, sporting and healthy nourishment of the young people at the age from fifteen to twenty studying at the two grammar schools in České Budějovice. I also inquired the occurance of anorexia and obesity on the chosen sample of the students. This work can be divided into two parts. The first one is concentrated on using albumens, fats, sacharids and liquids in nourishment. While it deals with eating disorders and moving activities, it offers several types of alternative nourishment. The second part presents the research into nourishment and moving activities on the chosen sample of the students. The results are made using the BIA and BMI methods (dealing with the height, weight and amount of fats). The graphs show that the obesity appears only by the very small number of the inquired students, moreover, the anorexia does not apper at all.
