Footbridge in Blansko
Urbánek, Jan ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is design and check of steel load-bearing structure of a footbridge. The footbridge spans the river Svitava in the town Blansko. The span length is 24 metres. The structural design is spatial bar structure with two main trusses. The upper and lower chords are curved in the shape of circular arch and they are connected by diagonal bars. In the level of the upper and lower chords the beams are connected by floor beam. Horizontal rigidity of the upper and lower construction area is secured by bracings. The bridge deck is laid on the lower floor beam. The solution is the result of the comparison and evaluation of two variants.
Kart arena
Šik, Jan ; Bajer, Miroslav (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The scope of the Master's thesis is the design, evaluation and the comparison of two variations of the solution for steel load-bearing structure which is a part of a gokart areal with adjacent refreshments. The construction is composed of three structurally dependent objects. For the first construction object, there were solved the variants with a truss and a frame structure. The construction has an irregular plan. The object plan dimensions are 75 x 45 m. The built up area covers 2450 m2. The construction reaches the height of 13,2 m. The thesis contains the design of dimensions, structural analysis and the evaluation of structural members. The calculation of internal forces was made by SCIA Engineer 16.1.62 software. Attached to the thesis is the drawing documentation.
Pavilion for Modern Arts
Hýblová, Kateřina ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The assignment of my degree work was a proposal of two variants of the steel structure of a modern art exhibition hall. The ground plan dimensions of the structure are 52,5 x 24 m. The whole structure of the two variants is supported by two quadrilateral truss columns and the upper floor level is at a height of 8 m above the ground. The ceiling structure is set by the truss girders. The proposal of two alternative solutions and the assessment of the main structure support elements forms another part of the work. With a winning option then a solution of the selected details, working out of the detailed drawings of the solved joints and the creation of the workshop documentation of the selected parts is supposed.
Analysis of The Effects of Wind on The Steel Ventilated Facade
Kloss, Tomáš ; Žák,, Antonín (referee) ; Hron, Lukáš (advisor)
This master´s thesis analyzes an effect of wind load on the ventilated facade claddings. The analysis is performed on the various types of facades, from unventilated to ventilated facades with a different geometrical arrangement of facade shell. The theoretical part describes the basic knowledge about the theory of flow, turbulence modeling, determining an optimal domain, verification of the calculation model and user interface in the ANSYS software. The final part compares the value of the wind load reduction depending on the change of the gap widths and the size of ventilated spaces. The resulting values are obtained by CFD simulations. The thesis includes a design and an assessment of the steel hall construction.
The roof structure of the sport hall in Vsetín
Chloupek, Adam ; Bajer, Miroslav (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of the roof load-bearing structure of the multifunctional sports hall in Vsetín, Zlín region. The structure was designed for dimensions of 76x35 metres. The aim of the work is to design and compare both designed alternatives made of timber and steel.
Steel Structure of Industry Hall
Kačírek, Michal ; Balázs, Ivan (referee) ; Horáček, Martin (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design a one-nave steel structure industrial hall in Jablonne nad Orlici with dimensions 63x30m and 15.0 m in height of the structure. In the hall, two overhead cranes with lifting capacity 32/8 tons and 20/5 tons are installed. The roof structure is designed in a variant of saddle roof with truss girder and truss purling with the function of the longitudinal roof bracing. The columns are solid panel fixed to the foundation pad. The main construction material is steel classed as S355. Spatial rigidity of the structure is provided by sway bracing and longitudinal bracing. Roofing is made of sandwich panels with polyurethane foam and trapezoidal sheet thickness of 0.9 mm. It is designed in accordance with the ČSN EN 1993.
hangar
Sejbalová, Kateřina ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this work is design and assessment of the steel structure of a two-aisle airport hangar for small aircrafts in Kunovice. Building has rectangular plan with dimensions 36 x 27 m. The main supporting systém is composed of truss girders, which are pinned on culumn. The distance between the truss girders is 9 m. For design was used the software Scia Engineer.
Steel Structure of a Sports Hall
Smrčka, Václav ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor’s deal with supporting with steel structure sports hall. As the mean material of bering elements was designet steel S235. The building has an rectangular shape with dimensions of 36x48 m. Clear hight at the highest point is 15,3 m. The supporting structure consist of colums and arched truss girder. The distance of each cross links sis 6 m. In the structure design is deal with four variant transversál frames. For the chosen variant is further processed a static calculation of the main structrual elements including selected details and drawing documentation.
The roof structure of the multipurpose hall in Lipník
Gelová, Michaela ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with a design of load-bearing roofing structure of the multipurpose hall in Lipnik in various material variants – wood, steel. The main truss /solid panel is a double-hinged / three-hinged arch with a span L = 25m and a height h = 12,5m. Arches are supported on the foundation by means of steel pivot joints. The connection between arches, are provided by the purlins, their length is 5m. A spatial rigidity of the structure is provided by the cross and longitudinal bracings.
Static solution of wood hall structures
Koch, Filip ; Zídek,, Rostislav (referee) ; Brdečko, Luděk (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is the design and assessment of the roof storage shed. The work addresses four different types of roof structures for hall´s ground plan in size of 12 x 24 m. For each structure is defined geometry, loads, internal forces and drawing up of the opinion of selected elements. The thesis also concerns some important structural details and their solutions. Location of the hall: Brno.
