Cogeneration
Martinek, Jan ; Šnajdárek, Ladislav (referee) ; Fortelný, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is intended to handle the issue of cogeneration. There is presented the principle of cogeneration and its benefits. Cogeneration is compared to the separate production of power and heat. This work deals with the storage of electric energy and heat and also deals with used batteries. The next chapter discusses the impact of cogeneration to environment and at the end there are mentioned the main Brno’s cogeneration units and central heat distribution in Brno.
Fundamentals of cogeneration and its application in Brno
Kubiš, Zdeněk ; Škvařil, Jan (referee) ; Martinec, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the cogeneration – Combined Heat and Power. It describes its main principles and advantages. It presents the most important types of cogeneration technologies with an emphasis on high-power units and summarizes the main areas where the cogeneration can be applied. Further, the State Energy Policy of the Czech Republic in the heat production is introduced. In the last part, the thesis is concerned with the history and the current state of heat production in Brno and gives an overview of the heating stations in the city.
Biogas technologies
Martanová, Iveta ; Jecha, David (referee) ; Beňo, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor's work deals with technology of conception and production of biogas from biodegradable waste. In the introductory part there is elaboration of biogas facts, the principle of biogas origin and the usage of biogas in practice. The main part is dedicated to individual technology of the biogas production. There are descriptions of technological equipment for gas producing and descriptions of individual methods of waste processing indicating their advantages and disadvantages.
Problems with sulphur and silicon in biogas
Holub, Radim ; Jecha, David (referee) ; Beňo, Zdeněk (advisor)
The main objective of this bachelor’s thesis is a description of a composition of biogas (BG) and contained undesirable components, which include especially sulphur and silicon compounds. In an introductory chapter is given a definition of the biogas, principle of its creation, chemical composition and a share of undesirable components. In following chapters are described single undesirable components, their properties and negative impact on parts of equipment using biogas. The following are the methods to reduce the critical concentration values of these components or their complete removal from biogas. In the thesis are also given practical solutions to eliminate these undesirable components.
Effect from used biomass for economic traffic of biogas station
KMOCH, Vít
In this bachelor thesis are processed information and notions, associated with production of biogas and biogas station. Literary review is focused on the process of creation biogas, using biogas, the basic information about biomass and biogas stations, stability of process biogas station and the basic information about digestate. In the practical part of my bachelor thesis I introduced information about farm and biogas station, which is owned including technical solutions and a description of the most important components by biogas stations. Then I was following up with the measuring of the optimal daily feed biomass feedstock, gas potential and economic evaluation of biomass, depending on the quantity of biomass and produced electrical energy.
Marketing Plan of a selected Company
Malík, Martin ; Hajdíková, Taťána (advisor) ; Novák, Michal (referee)
The aim of this diploma work is an elaboration of a marketing plan of TEDOM Company. Then the analysis of marketing tools and creation of a new marketing communication and setting the budget for its implementation. The theoretical part of the work is focused on the characteristics of marketing plan and marketing communication. The practical part describes the company itself. Furthermore the marketing plan and marketing communications are developed.
Method and economy of waste heat utilization at selected biogas plants
ZAJÍC, Pavel
The thesis is focused on economy and different ways how to use the waste heat which is created during combustion of biogas in cogeneration units. The utilization of residual heat enables to significantly increase the energetic efficiency of existing and newly built biogas stations. There is the description of the biogas station in Třeboň, Pleše and Kardašova Řečice and the technical and economic analysis of utilization of biogas in the place of heat consumption. These biogas stations have different methods how to use the waste heat. In Třeboň, there is this method: made biogas is transported by gas pipeline to the place where it is used. By contrast, the heat is used in the place where is created, but the heat is used for different purposes in Pleše and in Kardašova Řečice.
Mechanization intensive composting technology
HLAVINKA, Pavel
This bachelor thesis is focused on the intensive compost technology and the biogas production of the biologically decomposable waste. The theoretical part describes the technology of compost production in the tracked piles as well as in the loose areas, followed by the description of the biogas technology and biogas stations with all the related equipment. The biogas is the main product of the anaerobic digestion. Subsequently, we describe the conditions necessary for the biogas production, e.g. the constant temperature, pH, and the nutrients? presence. In the field part of the thesis there we describe the AGRO?Otročín plc. biogas station, as well as the technology hereby in use and its individual parts with the concrete values and figures followed by the basic characteristics of the cogeneration aggregate and the noise level measurements of the technology presented.
