Self-organization in today's society

Main goal of this bachelor thesis is to inform the reader about concept of self-organization in the society including its corporate surroundings. Thesis shortly describes coherent chaos theory for more complex sight of things. Thesis points out penetration of self-organization into human life in daily basis by introducing diverse examples from life. It introduces basic presumptions of a successful manager, who presents the main rival to self-organization. Field test consists of conducted social experiment framed in order to answer submitted hypothesis. Results are supported by processed poll regarding similar matters.
European coordination of social security: rules for determination the applicable legislation

The aim of this master thesis is to analyse practical impacts of special rules for determination of applicable legislation in accordance with the Regulation No. 883/2004 and its implementing Regulation No. 987/2009. Further the thesis seeks to identify potential negative effects connected to application of the single insurance principle as well as deficiencies arising out of practical performance of European coordination and to discuss the eventual solutions to undesirable effects caused by weak sides of coordination regulations. The thesis is divided into four chapters: an introduction is followed by a chapter about general principles of European coordination of social security systems and about current developments in this field. The topic of a second part is an institute of posting according to Art. 12 of the Regulation No. 883/2004, a distinction here is made between employees and self-employed persons. This chapter further contains procedural rules and an overview of issued portable documents A1 (E 101 forms) during the years 2009 - 2011. Third chapter deals with pursuit of activities in two or more Member States in accordance to Art. 13 of the Regulation No. 883/2004. Special attention is paid to a fine line between posting and pursuit of activities. A problem with retroactive determination of applicable legislation is discussed in the last subchapter of the thesis. This problem is being recently solved by Czech institutions and employers. They are trying to find a solution preventing negative consequences of such a retroactive determination. Exception governed in Art. 16 of the Regulation No. 883/2004 is a subject of the fourth chapter. Situations where an exception is a possible and suitable solution are presented here as well as statistics about requests for exemption from Czech resp. foreign laws.
Multi-Project Environment in Outsourcing

This master thesis deals with the issue of managing a group of projects from the perspective of an outsourcing provider. The goals of this master thesis are to define the area of multi-project environment in outsourcing, describe features of a real example of such environment, identify characteristic features in them and design a set of recommendations for its efficient management. In the first part, the area and conditions of multi-project environment in outsourcing are defined. Subsequently, the theoretical knowledge in literature is analyzed. The second part focuses on practical research in a real organization dealing with this kind of project management. First, the methodology of the research is defined, then the results are described in detail. Using the previously collected knowledge the third part identifies features which are typical for multi-project environment in outsourcing. This means those areas which require attention and can be generalized in this field of project management. Based on the previous knowledge, the fourth part sets recommendations for efficient management of multi-project environment in outsourcing within identified characteristics. The original contribution of this master thesis is the definition of multi-project environment in outsourcing, identification of its characteristic features and set of recommendations for its efficient management.
Analysis of using web and mobile applications in teamwork on projects.

The aim of this thesis is the analysis of using web and mobile applications in team work within projects. Thesis is divided into the two main parts. Firstly, the theoretical part provides basic information and facts about work at a team, communication and team work on common projects. Theoretical part also includes a definition and development of web and mobile applications from past until now. Secondly, the practical part includes analysis by the survey. The survey was conducted using two different methods - questionnaire survey method and structured interviews. The questionnaire was focused on the usage of basic applications for communication, cooperation and coordination within work teams. The structured interviews was focused more on benefits for employees
The Evaluation of Continuity in Spatial Planning and Comprehensive Landscaping in Selected Location

This diploma thesis evaluates continuity of two different and stand-alone documents that fundamentally affect the character of the area. This continuity of spatial plan and comprehensive land adjustment is compared in the selected area of the cadastral territory of municipality Libějice. The object of my research were public works and public interest measurements in the spatial planning and the plan of common facilities in the comprehensive landscaping, where in the case of these two documents lead to consensus. The results are presented in both text and graphical form, processed by a geographic information system ArcGIS 10th.
International treaties in the area of ​​statutory duties on income from employment

This thesis deals with the comparison of treaties that prevent double taxation in the area of income taxes and bilateral treaties on social security. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic terms that are used in the following parts of the work. A substantial part of the thesis deals with procedures for the avoidance of double taxation in the area of income taxes, which are implemented through international agreements. The thesis also deals with the coordination of social security, which is implemented through bilateral treaties on social security and in European Union also through Regulation (EC) No 883/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the coordination of social security systems, which in the case of Member States of the European Union takes over the function of individual treaties. Result of the thesis is to compare the agreements for the avoidance of double taxation on income and capital and bilateral treaties on social security, especially compared to the number of contracts that the Czech Republic has concluded with other countries. Other points of comparison are the history of concluding these treaties, or the existence of model treaties or multilateral agreements.
Evaluation organization of connection and design type activity of the Integrated Rescue System components as regards joint action

This thesis describes the methods of communication in the Integrated Rescue System, considering especially its basic components. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the Integrated Rescue System components and the regulations determining the competence and connection of the basic IRS components and between each other. The research part evaluates possibilities of the investigated IRS components, their tools for connection and communication, and the principles which are usually used in their work. All knowledge are summarised at the end of the thesis. Included is also a proposal for particular types of activities of the Integrated Rescue System components as regards joint action - the organization of connection. This part determines the basic communication rules which could be helpful in mutual communication of the Integrated Rescue System components dealing with extraordinary events.
THE DEVELOPMENT OF VOLUNTEERING AMONG THE SOCIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS IN THE REGION ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE

This bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the terms related to volunteering, European year of volunteering 2011 and the methodology of work with volunteers are defined. Social services, their providers and volunteering in social services are also characterized. In practical part, the objective, hypothesis, research methods and research results are described. To get the information needed quantitative research was chosen, data collection was done using the method of inquiry, the technique of questionnaire. The research aggregate was formed by the providers of social services in the district of České Budějovice.In the region of České Budějovice are 47 providers of which 30 responded to a questionnaire. This bachelor work showed us, that the institutions in a professional procedure are going the right way, however, in the coordination part, there are gaps.
