Design and construction of small windpower

This thesis describes the design and construction of small domestic plants. It describes device with three-blade rotor and rated power 1 kW. It presents basic information and rules for the structure and gives an overview of the different types of design. The work is intended as a basic source of information for future implementation. The work includes the assembly drawing.

The content of bachelor study is the technical recherche of the renewable resources of energy in the Czech republic. It appears here the principal, use, potential and advantages and disadvantages of each type of renewable resources - water, wind and biomass. Then the use of solar energy for photovoltaic conversion to electrical energy is described in detail. At the end of this study is described one of the many recently build photovoltaic power stations in the South Moravia territory, the solar power station in Bzenec.

This especially contains wind energy, hydroenergy, solar energy and biomass. In each chapter you can find some informations about development, principle of function, technical characteristics, environmental impact and potential in the Czech Republic. At the end of this study are noted economy and legislation especially supports and prices of each renewable resource of energy.

Technical and economic proposal for wind power in the locality Břežany.

There is currently a construction project underway in the czech republic (Vesta V52) to build a large wind farm. Due to their size there is a lot of oposition to this venture. My project is a short history of using Wind Energy, the principle behind wind farms and detailed discriptions of Vesta V52 itself. You will also find a theoretical calculation of the produced electricity per year and considered cost and sustainability of the plant.
