The theoretical part consists of literature review in the field of financial analysis - purpose, phases, sources and methods of assessment of the situation. The practical part focuses on the assessment of the situation of a particular firm in the past five years based on methods and the ways mentioned in the theoretical part

The aim of this work is to evaluate the financial situation of the chosen company and assess the main sources of inefficiency. The theoretical section specifies the nature and objectives of financial analysis, defines the users and resources necessary for its implementation. It also describes the job as a financial analyst and financial analysis methods. In the practical part of this thesis deals with the financial analysis of the company Vladimir Rendl - truhlářství s.r.o. based on the findings of the theoretical part.

The Evaluation of Indebtedness of municipalities in the Czech Republic

This work deals with the debt of municipalities. The debt of municipalities is in the Czech Republic regulated and also monitored. Monitoring of the municipal debt is carried out by the Ministry of Finance, which uses system of information and monitoring indicators (SIMU). Evaluation, criticism and modification of the SIMU is the main output of this work. A new modified SIMU was created according to the evaluation of this system, and then it has been tested on Kutná Hora. The debt is also considered from the perspective of the size of the municipalities. The hypothesis of an influence of the municipality size (the size category according to CNB) on the amount of the municipal debt per capita in the period 2006 to 2010 was verified by statistical method called ANOVA. At the same time it was confirmed in three surveyed periods that although the large municipalities have a greater total value of the debt, in per capita are more indebted smaller communities.

Indicators of municipal debt

The aim of bachelor thesis is to assess development of debts in municipalities and precautions against these debts in Czech Republic, which are Monitoring the finances of municipalities of the Ministry of Finance and Financial and property analysis. Secondary aim of bachelor thesis is effectively link these two precautions. In bachelor thesis are described economical theories which are related to public sector. Next the thesis deals with the structure of municipal budget -- mainly incomes, expenditure and municipal finance. Part of thesis is also development of indebtedness in municipalities, causes and preventions for indebtedness in municipalities and regulative of indebtedness in municipalities. The last part of bachelor thesis deals with Financial and property analysis -- mainly indicator of debt service and Monitoring the finances of municipalities of the Ministry of Finance.

Goal of this Bachelor's thesis about financial analysis is to introduce the issues of analysis to the reader and subsequently do one on the selected business. The aim of the company analysis is to evaluate its development over the years, check its current status and make an own evaluation as well as provide insights of the company and its functioning. The first part of the work will focus on the theory of financial analysis, its relevance, potential users as well as methods and resources for its creation. The theoretical part will be complemented by information about the company PREFA Sučany, JSC, which is, for purposes of this thesis, the analyzed company. In the second part, the practical one, by using the mentioned methodological apparatus the financial analysis of the company will be performed from 2005 - 2010 according to the published results by the management of the company. Finally, the conclusion will summarize all the information from the analysis and create possible conclusions about the operations of the company.

Zadluženost podniku a její aktuální problémy

Obsahem práce je rozbor nejčastějších příčin zadluženosti ? nedostatek likvidních prostředků, potřeba investice, strategie managementu, a jejích zdrojů ? emise obligací, nebankovní a bankovní úvěry, soukromá půjčka, krátkodobé dluhy a leasing. V úvodu teoretické části stručný rozbor základních ukazatelů zadluženosti a jejich doporučené hodnoty. Praktická část obsahuje analýzu finanční situace dvou firem se zaměřením na zadluženost během let 2005 a 2006, vzájemné porovnání jejich finanční situace.
