Use of the care contribution for persons in home care

This thesis deals with the use of the care contribution for persons who receive such contribution and are in home care. This thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part consists the theoretical treatment of the social care theme, social services, the care contribution, home and institutional care. The second part named Use of care contribution for people in home care, is the practical part, where the research helps to achieve the objective. The aim is to find a factual use of care contribution for people in home care and to detect advantages of being a recipient of the care contribution while living at home.
To what extent is it ethical assimilation of the Roma
VROBELOVÁ, Pavlína
This work deals with current problems of Czech society. People living on the margins of society, is often denied access to quality education and employment, which could increase the possibility of reintegration back into society. In one of the groups most affected or at risk of social exclusion are seen for a long time members of Roma communities. The Czech Republic is in the field of social inclusion is often criticized for its passive approach to dealing with excluded Roma localities. Weight of the problem is determined not only by its scope, but also impacts the cost, number of people and sites that interferes. Overcoming social exclusion, which means the position outside the main social and economic dynamics of the country means a return to the process of integration and assimilation and the social structure of Czech society, including social, economic and cultural skills in the dynamics and structure to maintain and manage the necessary competencies and patterns of life manner, in particular its anchoring to education, employment and wages. The first part is devoted to explanation of terms and historical background of development of Roma ethnicity in this country. Mapping is an approach to the Roma to the present. The next chapter deals with the rights and obligations of all citizens of the Czech Republic, development and current legal anchoring of national minorities in the Czech Republic. The last chapter looks at the question of assimilation and integration in the present scale. Roma citizens living in the Czech Republic must assimilate at least as regards compliance with laws, rights and obligations as well as any other citizen of the Czech Republic.
Social services for people with multiple sclerosis in the South Region

The work deals with the supply of social services for people with multiple sclerosis in the South Region. The theoretical part contains a general introduction to the problems of multiple sclerosis, information about its causes, signs and types, describes multiple sclerosis in a social context, dealing with social security and social services for people with multiple sclerosis. The practical part contains the results of a survey conducted among persons diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and the results of the analysis of data from the register of social services. The aim was to determine the status of social services for people with multiple sclerosis in the South Region and the awareness of people with multiple sclerosis to offer social services for people with disabilities in the South Region.
Negative Effects of Social Support in the Romanies Living in Socially Excluded Locations (Specifi Situation in Písek)

This thesis deals with social support - any help provided to a man by other people (both laymen and profesionals). The thesis tries to describe, evaluate and analyse some negative aspects of social support provided to the Romanies who live in a socially excluded locations (considering the concrete situation in Písek) and suggest suitable measures how to improve it. Although this thesis is conceived as theoretical, for completion it contains views of social workers from Písek who provide social support to the Romanies, and in case reports, there are mapped social nets and experiences of small sample of the Roma residents from Písek´s socially excluded locations.
The importance of Roma family as social support in the Romanies in a selected location in Tabor

The work examines the importance of Roma family as a provider of social support to its members. The theoretical part describes the concept of social support and focuses on functional family, which is one of the sources of social support. Further, it gives the characteristics we can find in the field of social support typically in the Romanies. Next, there is the division of Roma families, the describtion of the extent, types and drawbacks of social support, which are always associated to Roma families. The practical part includes the respondents´ case studies. These were achieved using semi-structured interviews, divided into six main themes according to which they were also evaluated. The research results are then compared to the findings of other refered authors.
The effect of the type of profession on the perception of stress

The thesis reviews scientific findings relevant to the issues of stress and burn-out syndrome in its theoretical part. It focuses both on the general description of the two related phenomena and their detection and prevention options, as well as on the relationship between them and the individual{\crq}s specific professional specialization. The research part of the thesis concentrates on mapping out of severity and frequency of stress situations, on feelings associated with the burn-out syndrome, and on the possibilities of social support systems among the respondents working in different types of professions and represented by three samples: teachers {--}future educational counselors-, managers in supranational consulting companies, and therapists providing care for individuals with mental retardation and psychiatric disorders. The present work further looks at differential subjective perception of stress events among these professions. Questionnaires BMS (Ayala Malach-Pines, 2005, The Burn-out Measure Short Version) and JSS-CZ (Spielberger, Knotková, Man, 1999, Inventář pracovního stresu) were used for the data collection, as well as additional personal questions. In addition, the results{\crq} implications and their limitations for possible generalizations are discussed.
Influence of social support on the quality of senior´s life

The work deals with social support and its influence on the seniors. In the theoretical part there are described the ideas such as age, ageism, social support - its characters, function and effects. Quality of life, its components and evaluation possibilities are defined, too. Further, several sources of help and care about seniors are introduced. The practical part shows the way how seniors perceive and accept this social support and how far it influences their quality of life.
Social support of family with disabled child

The work deals with the support of the family with a disabled child. The terms like social support, social net, problems of social support, extent of the conception, levels, types, effectiveness and adequacy are defined in the theoretical part. Next there are described the basic types of children{\crq}s health disabilities, the techniques of managing serious life situations and the sources of social support. The practical part is aimed to usage of possibilities of social support by family, mainly its availability, sufficiency and functionality of the system.
THE BURNOUT SYNDROME PREVENTION AMONG SOCIAL WORKERS
POMYJOVÁ, Romana
The theoretical part of this thesis is devoted to the definition of the burnout syndrome, its relation to social workers, causes of rise, the process and above all it deals with the prevention of the burnout syndrome. The practical part is specialized in the monitoring of prevention at the organization level. In the research four types of organizations are engaged: home for seniors, hospital, charity, detachment of social-legal protection of children. As a research method was used secondary and contentual data analysis and semi-controlled interview with leadership workers. The research proved that the most important methods of burnout prevention at the organization level belongs to an acceptable working environment, team cooperation, feedback, extra education and supervision.
