International competitiveness of Czech Republic in new millenium

The diploma thesis examines the development of the competitiveness of Czech Republic since 2000 by means of measurable and comprehensive indicators. The first two chapters generate the theoretical basis for following analysis. In the first chapter is defined the concept of competitiveness at the macroeconomic level. The second chapter deals with methods and principles of measuring competitiveness, which are applied to economy of Czech Republic. First is examined the export performance and its development in the new millennium. Following is analyzed the indicators of cost competitiveness compared with EU member states. Eventually are described evaluation results of the World Economic Forum and the International Institute for Management Development.
Analysis of the market of lower middle class cars with target of increasing market share for product

The main goal of this thesis is to analyse possibilities for market share grow for new model of Mercedes-Benz A class in the Czech republic, the car comes to market by 2012 and belongs to lower middle class category. The method for reaching the goal is analysis of competition forces by Porter, it means threat of new entrants and substitute products, bargaining power of buyers and suppliers and rivalry among existing firms. The sources for information are statistics from SDA and intern data from Mercedes-Benz Czech republic and websites of car dealers. Results are sorted in SWOT scheme. Conclusions are marketing recommendations: the strategy of differentiation, keeping main brand competition advantages, in short term increase of investments in promotion, in middle term fight with bad local reputation and increase of dealerships and services in ČR.
Analysis of the competitive insurance market.

The work process analysis of the competitive insurance market life insurance in the Czech republic. There are comparison of three insurance companies, which are offering life insurance: Pojišťovna České spořitelny, Kooperativa and CSOB pojišťovna. As the processing methods of analysis are used: Porter, marketing questionnaire and SWOT analysis.
Influence of Internet on Competion

Internet has significant influence on competition. My diploma thesis analyze this influence by Michael E. Porter's model of five competitive forces and value chain Porter's theory is illustrated by many examples mostly from Czech market. This paper focus on reatil market and desrcibes his history on Hype Cycle created by analytic agency Garner, Inc. Large part of my work is concerned with marketing and adverticing on Internet. It describes advanateges of Internet advertising and compares it with traditional media (TV, press, outdoor, etc.) Rest of this paper focus on Czech retail market on Internet and shows bad and good strategies of biggest e-shops in Czech republic. Last part is about trends on the Czech market.

The goal of the thesis was to evaluate the company RUDOLF JELÍNEK a.s.. This company is very successful now. It sticks at modernization of its factory and technologies but it put attention to expansion as well. It expands to the other countries of Europe but to America, too. Thesis was divided into two parts, theoretic and analytic. There were described the basic steps of the evaluation process and some methods in the theoretic part. Then all the process was applied in the analytic part of the thesis. The main result is the concrete value value of the company.
Komparativní výhoda společnosti Lexus na trhu ČR-SR a její využití v cílovém segmentu

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na hledání konkurenční výhody importéra vozů Lexus. Konkurenceschopnost je analyzována ze tří pohledů: analýza odvětví, institucionálního rámce a schoností a zdrojů firmy. Jako hlavní konkurenční výhody byly identifikovány malá zákaznická základna, technologická vyspělost modelů a kultura a hodnoty společnosti. Tyto výhody byly aplikovány v návrhu marketingové strategie a jsou rozepsány v poslední části práce v pěti P: produkt, cena, místo prodeje, podpora prodeje a lidé. Návrh marketingu je konstruován s ohledem na vrcholový cíl, jímž je rentabilita společnosti.
Současné trendy v letecké dopravě se zaměřením na evropský prostor

Odvětví civilní letecké dopravy se v současné době dynamicky rozvíjí a stále významněji konkuruje tradičnějším formám dopravy. Práce se zaměřuje na analýzu současného fungování odvětví a na identifikaci aktuálních vývojových trendů. Východiskem pro analýzu je porozumění specifikům zasazení letecké dopravy do kontextu celého dopravního sektoru a pochopení jeho osobitého historického vývoje. Pro analýzu je zvolena perspektiva evropského regionu ? jednoho ze světových center letecké dopravy, které dnes nadto vytváří intenzivní tlak na další rozvoj odvětví. Analýza ukazuje, jaké konkrétní trendy se dnes v odvětví letecké dopravy projevují a jakým způsobem budou odvětví formovat v blízké budoucnosti.
