Three-cylinder inline diesel engine with an eccentric crank for commercial vehicles
Domský, Viktor ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The goal is to investigate the influence of eccentricity on the force between the piston and the cylinder liner and the influence on balancing of the crank mechanism. For a selected eccentricity suggest a balancing method and perform stress analysis of crankshaft considering torsional vibration. Eccentricity is chosen by the ratio of centric and eccentric mechanism of friction work. The paper shows the effect of eccentricity on the selected kinematics values. Stress analysis is done in the software ANSYS. Using selected eccentricity the friction work was reduced by 10 %.

Two-cylinder motorcycle engine
Bolcek, Adam ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The main aim of this master’s thesis is balancing of the inertia forces of sliding parts of the twin cylinder motorcycle’s engine by dummy connecting rod. There is description of two computing stances to design dummy connecting rod. Then there is comparison of these computing stances. The dummy connecting rod is designed and the strength analysis is done by FEM method (finite element method) to limit the state of material fatigue. Furthermore, a crankshaft is designed while considering rotation parts’ inertia forces balancing. Finally, a strength analysis by FEM method is done to limit state of material fatigue of the crankshaft

Possibilities of 2-cylinder Engine Balancing for Tractor Usage
Vaško, Roman ; Franz, Rudolf (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This thesis deals with possibilities of 2-cylinder engine balancing for tractor usage. The purpose of this thesis is to find a technical solution for the creation of the concept of balancing using balancing shaft. Check the proposed solution by FEM analysis and evaluate the fatigue safety. The content of the thesis is the creation of computational and graphical documentation too.

The five-cylinder inline diesel engine with eccentric crank mechanism
Süttő, Daniel ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to find out the influence of eccentricity of crank mechanism on the duration of the force between the piston and the cylinder liner. At the same time I wanted to find out its influence on the balance of the whole system. It is important to design the balance for the selected value of the eccentricity and subsequently put through the crank shaft to stress analysis with torsional vibrations. I got so interested in this problem that in addition to the whole topic I designed a torsional vibration damper.

New system proposal for the balancing of assembly line powered door operation of rail vehicles
Kolečkář, Jan ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Kubík, Roman (advisor)
This work deals with the measurement time frames and then balancing of assembly line in the company IFE-CR in segment drive units rail vehicles. The first part of thesis is focused on methods of work measurement, method improving quality eight disciplines problem solving and one of the many basic methods lean production 5S. The second part of thesis is introducing company, company's history, products and distribution drive units for rail vehicles. The following part is focused a distribution of production hall, description of workplaces and detailed description of assembly line. The practical part is focused on time frames of assembly operations and theirs compare before and after balancing of assembly line. The last part of the thesis deals evaluation of results balancing of assembly line with focus on productivity.

Two-cylinder four stroke spark ignition flat engine
Dragoun, Jan ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibilities for realization of the crankshaft-cylinder four-stroke gasoline engine is flat, usable in the urban vehicle. In the work described stresses exerted on the crank mechanism can balance the crankshaft, torsional stress and strength calculation method of control. In the final part of this work is outlined proposal for implementation of the crankshaft.

Powertrain of five -cylinder gasoline radial engine
Vítek, David ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This Diploma thesis deals with a design of a powertrain of fice-cylinder gasoline radial engine with assigned main parameters (bore, stroke, etc.). The work is divided into several parts: kinematics of the radial engine, creation of 3D models, force acting on the connecting rods, balancing of the engine. The last part is focused on creating MKP models, stress analysis and determining of fatigue safety of the selected parts.
