Nursing process in ill with anorexia nervosa

My graduation project is about mental anorexia (anorexia nervosa). There are two sections: theoretical and practical. In theoretical part I described mental anorexia- causes, diagnostics, complications and formsof treatment. In practical part I wrote about positive way of nursing at the patient with mental anorexia. I aimed to give informations about an individual nursing pian. The nurse can contribute with her way of caring to successful treatment. The theoretical part explains the concept of "quality of life" and mentions the specific methods used to evaluate the quality of life related to oral health. We can also focus on the distribution of dental restorations, proper care of dentures, nutritional problems in patients with denture, dental prostheses issues of intolerance, the importance of communication. The empirical part examines the quality of life in 100 outpatients with denture using OHIP questionnaire 20E. We conclude that the whole area is the worst experience of physical handicap. Other areas in which patients experience difficulties, including: functional limitations, physical pain and psychological discomfort. Less problematic are the other three areas: psychological disability and social disability, handicap.

I describe an anatomy and physiology of pancreas in the theoretic part, then carcinoma of pancreas is described, together with its risk factors, diagnostic procedures, treatment and outcome of the therapy. In second chapter is analyzed status of preventive examinations in medical care, third chapter is aimed for oncology prevention. Change in nonmedical professions education at The Faculty Hospital Na Bulovce

This diploma thesis deals with a change in the non-medical professions education at The Faculty Hospital Na Bulovce (the FHB). The theoretical part of the diploma thesis contains a theory to the change management, the human resources management, the themes of development and life-long education of non-medical professions according to the Act No. 96/2004 Coll., on Non-medical Health Professions. The practical part of the diploma thesis is focused on a change in the organization related with the process of accreditations obtaining in order to provide the practical part of the specialized education programs "Operational Care" and "Nursing Care in Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care" and their following realization. In this part of my diploma thesis, I used a quantitative (the telephone interview and the questionnaire examination form) research. Interactions between Drugs, Medicinal Plants and Substances of Natural Orgin

Title of Thesis: Interactions between drugs, medicinal plants and substances of natural origin This rigorous thesis created overview of herb-drug interactions. Cited literature includes articles published in the journals (British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology), periodicals and internet databases (Web of Science, Science Direct) since April 2007 till June 2010. Of the total 123 medicinal plants the largest amount of interactions was recorded at Hypericum perforatum (30,96 %), Ginkgo biloba (15,48 %), Piper nigrum (9,68 %). Herbs interact mostly with anticoagulants (30,08 %), especially thanks to warfarin; analgetics including antipyretics and NSAIDs (21,95 %); and antidiabetics (18,69 %). In the period 2002 - 2007 the leader interaction position had anticoagulants, too, followed by antihypertensives and acetylsalicyl acid. Interactions can be influenced by interindividual differences, at the test-level there depends on test-sensitivity, concentration of tested drugs and herbs. The number of interactions is increasing. Kateřina Schrammová Supervisor: MUDr. Pavla Paterová Title of diploma thesis: The incidence of multidrug resistant strains of Klebsiella spp. at UH in Hradec Kralove in the years 2008-2010 Klebsiella pneumoniae producing a broad spectrum beta - lactamases ( ESBLs ) are of global common pathogen causing nosocomial infections that are associated with higher mortality and limiting treatment options. To prevent nosocomial transmission is necessary to determine and compliance with procedures of the correct nursing practice focused on multidrug-resistant strains. The practical part is focused on the occurrence of ESBL-producing K. pneumoniae in a University Hospital Hradec Králové from January 2009 to December 2010. The file contains all the positive culture of material from patients of HK Hospital. The incidence of K. pneumoniae is evaluated by material, capture the individual clinics, in intensive and standard care, in surgical specialties, age and time. In 2009 is isolated a total of 1545 strains of ESBL -producing K. pneumoniae, 1716 strains in 2010. The most positive material is urine (34-35 %) and samples from the respiratory tract (43-52 %).
