Web application for Mikrotik network nodes management
Vaňátko, Matěj ; Hajný, Jan (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis describes a comprehensive solution of a web application for administration of extensive LAN and WAN networks, which are based on nodes by MikroTik . There is a feasibility study, which says, what modules and what functionality should be included. Also a database structure is clarified and technical procedures of solution of the whole assignment are outlined with an emphasis on universality and maximal simplicity.
Web-Based Application Vulnerability Testing
Bendík, Lukáš ; Barabas, Maroš (referee) ; Koranda, Karel (advisor)
Goal of the thesis is to provide an overview of most common vulnerabilities occurring in web-based applications and methods, which are used for testing them. With each vulnerability there is given a description, example and methods of securing the applications against it. The thesis also introduces automatic tools, which are used for web-based application vulnerability testing. As a part of thesis, there was implemented an web-based application with embedded vulnerabilities. On this application it is possible to put to test the theoretical methods of testing along with automated tools dedicated for this purpose.
Scaleable Internet Shop
Čtvrtlík, Miroslav ; Martínek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Stryka, Lukáš (advisor)
The work inquires into questions of Electronic Commerce, which comes within the range of Electronic Business. The purpose is to create a system which facilitates generating and parallel operation of more internet shops by the web interface without the necessity of HTML knowledge. The application consists of two main parts: Administrative, where sellers insert and control offered goods, get survey of made orders and do the detailed setting of their shop. The second part is interface for customers, which serves for presentation and selling offered goods. The system is implemented in language PHP5 and relational database MySQL 5.0. User interface is created using the HTML, JavaScript and Cascade Style Sheets CSS.
Penetration Testing Application for Data Validation Flaws Based Web Vulnerabilities
Němec, Václav ; Kumpošt, Marek (referee) ; Drozd, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with detection of web vulnerabilities such as data validation flaws. The paper describes usual attacks, defense against these and procedures of automatic detection. The main goal is to design and implement tool for automatic detection of vulnerabilities such as data validation flaws, its further testing and on sample application and comparison of results with similar tools like Paros Proxy or Burp Suite.
Web-Application Development in XML User Interface Language
Raul, Ondřej ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
Aim of the thesis is to introduce the XML User Interface Language (XUL) and compare the process of building web applications in XUL with the existing frameworks for developing web applications. Moreover the thesis deals with a design of an e-shop and its implementation in XUL language. The interface for customers will be implemented in HTML. In the end the thesis compares the user interface in XUL with the user interface in HTML and evaluates the suitability of XUL language for building web applications.
Software Architecture and Design Patterns in Web Applications
Kašpar, Jan ; Kunc, Michael (referee) ; Vrážel, Dušan (advisor)
This text describes software architecture and design patterns for web applications together with theirs advantages and disadvantages. The main theoretical part is focused on detailed description and comparison of three patterns and their practical use. A schema of an application with all its parts (use-case diagram, database and objects schema) will be created using UML and subsequently this application will be implemented using the tree chosen patterns. Based on this implementation, the best use for each pattern will be evaluated in the final part of this text.
Distributed Product Catalogue
Sázavský, Petr ; Kunc, Michael (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The main taks of the project was to create a catalog, which will distribute the goods from the all registered e-shops in this system to the end users. The catalogue can take all necessary information about the goods from the XML file available on the Internet, which URL can users add during the registration and then display them in the hierarchically ordered categories. The catalogue will provide possibility to search and sort the goods according to various parameters. Business owners will be able to present statistics of the goods such as like view numbers, number of clicks, raitings and then export to the selected format. The catalogue will include administration which will be built on the modular basis and allow the management of the whole catalogue.
Tool for Easy Coding and Debugging of PHP Application
Pavelka, Jan ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Marušinec, Jaromír (advisor)
The goal of this master's thesis is an introducing with tools for easy coding and debugging of PHP applications and to implement such tool on the basis of analysis of common requirements and specific requirements of IS VUT designers. The project includes an introduction with important ideas and terms referring to tool, analysis and specifications of requirements and design and implementation of final tool.
Web Application for Managing and Classifying Information from Distributed Sources
Vrána, Pavel ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Drozd, Michal (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with data mining techniques and classification of the data into specified categories. The goal of this thesis is to implement a web portal for administration and classification of data from distributed sources. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to test different methods and find the most appropriate one for web articles classification. From the results obtained, there will be developed an automated application for downloading and classification of data from different sources, which would ultimately be able to substitute a user, who would process all the tasks manually.
Application Frameworks for Web Application Development
Tulka, Tomáš ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
Application frameworks are tools that enable easier development of web applications and enhance their quality. Because there are so may Java web application frameworks in existence it is difficult at times to choose the correct one to suit a particular application. This thesis examines frameworks from a general point of view. Descriptions of the characteristic functions of frameworks are also covered, along with functions, and the ways in which they differ from each other; and thus it enables the most appropriate framework to be chosen. The thesis also analyses typical representatives of frameworks for certain uses, it demonstrates their activity by means of standardized applications and compares them in terms of practical use.
