The analysis of donations to the theatres

The thesis deals with the analysis of theatre - financing. One of the alternatives of theatre - financing is trough public budget grants (dotations). Grant application procedure differs among Czech regions due to various culture policies. Main goal of the thesis is to characterize grant application process within all Czech regions, excluding Prague, as one of several possible alternatives of theatre - financing and to analyze relationships between grants and related variables. The correlation analysis used in the thesis shows strong relationship between amounts addressed to theatres and the size of the region.
The financing of the corporate client from the perspective of bank

The aim of this thesis is to describe the course of corporate financing. The thesis is divided into two main parts - the theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical section describes the financial statements, financial analysis and the individual components of the loan proposal. In the practical part is given financial analysis based on data from the client's annual reports. Here is a loan proposal, drawn up on the basis of the conclusions of financial analysis, which provides appropriate funding attending various financial risks, which the client must undergo as an entrepreneur.
Transferred competency of municipalities in the Czech Republic and its financing

Thesis is concerned with transferred competency of municipalities and its financing. There has come through a reform of public administration in the Czech Republic not long ago, which transferred a part of execution of state administration to municipalities. Thesis summarizes legal basis on which this process is realized. It also describes typology of municipalities and the extent of its transferred competence. Main part of this thesis is focused on analysis of transferred competency financing. Object of the thesis is to prove or to disprove an idea that the municipalities have to use their own funds to finance the execution of the state administration.

The diploma paper with the topic Factoring as modern tool for financing of trade activity investigates various ways of gaining financial sources for a company in its theoretical part. These sources can be internal as well as external ones. External possibilities of financing focused on factoring, its principals, functions and forms are described in more details. It compares the costs for external financing in the practical part, and this with different proportion of the current account credit and factoring.

This bachelor's work points out the possible negative impact of the ageing population in the Czech Republic on the pensions system. If the current state of financing the old-age pensions were to be sustained it is in danger of longterm untenability. The proposed change of financing the czech pension system is based upon general reccomendations of various world organisations engaged in the pension area and from comparing pension reforms executed in Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Slovenia.

Financing of higher education in the United States

This thesis covers financing of higher education in USA. American higher education must not depend only on state or federal finances. Colleges and universities need to find other resources. Grants and private sector resources compensate low level of state/federal subsidies. First part describes the most important financial resources of today, separately for private and state colleges - federal grants, tuition, local and state government contributions. Next, paper deals with crossover from supporting schools to supporting students and the actual state of tuition levels. In the second part, a brief outline of students'financial aid is given. Federal government manages great amount of money for this particular purpose. Accesibility of higher education in the USA is at the peak, there are currently 18 million students and the number is still rising. Thesis contains charts, graphs and tables to illustrate current situation as well.
