The diploma thesis deals at the beginning with the basic terms related with real estate appraisement, description of appreciated locality and description of individual appreciatment methods. In the practical part is described six holiday cottages in cottage area called Tři Dvory. The next their appraisement by using methods – according to regulations, cost method of valuation, the valuation by comparing the price and the valuation of substantive value, to compare choosen ways of valuation of property type holiday cottage in locality Osová Bítýška. The result will be valorization of appropriateness methods used for diferent types of valuation and their evaluation with the best method for choosen property type in the locality.

Using terms 'value' and 'price' for the evaluation of assets

Article deals with the analysis of problem, which has been existing since 1989 under conditions of the Czech Republic. After ages of communism, the Czech Republic started to integrate to European Union and wider European and International structures. In connection with usage of recommendation resulted from International Valuation Standards the emphasis is put on distinguishing of terms price and value at evaluation. On the contrary the legal regulations keep working with terms, which do not use such distinguishing. There is nonstandard situation which causes the lack of terms clarity. With this lack of clarity the problem in interpretation of evaluation results can be related as well. Article deals with analysis of terms of price and value, shows differences in their understanding according to International Valuation Standards and Czech legal system and article also looks for possible means of clarification in this area.
Evaluation design of civil airports effectivity indices

Introductory part of this thesis concludes the development of air traffic, division of airports in the Czech Republic according to the Ministry of Transport, according to the Law on Civil Aviation and according to the Coding of the airports (Requirement L 14). The aim was to realize theoretical definition and division of output and economic indicators. After that comes choice of appropriate airports from the European Union. The choice has been made on the basis of the number of check-in passengers at the airport in Prague-Ruzyně. Eight most suitable airports have been chosen from all twenty-seven member countries of the EU. The following step is comparative analysis of these chosen airports on the basis of specified output and economic indicators for the years 2005-2009. The year 2010 has not been included, because the chosen airports did not complete their annual reports, balances and statements of profit and loss. From these sources the values for calculation of individual indicators have been chosen. These indicators have been shown in charts, evaluated by means of graphs in Excel Programme and further they have been characterized in words. The aim of the thesis was also the evaluation and comparison of output and economic indicators of effectiveness and after evaluation, proposal of methods of evaluations has followed.
