A project of introduction of ICT into a medium sized enterprise

In the theoretical part, this master thesis deals with ICT, Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovations with a focus on the programme of support ICT in Enterprises. Furthermore, with the definition of SMEs and specific features of medium sized enterprise. In the practical part, an ICT project in a chosen company is described and analyzed. The project is evaluated and further opportunities of development of ICT in the company are suggested. The last chapter provides implications from the ICT area for similar businesses.
The Automotive Industry Dealership

Broulík in his Master's Thesis sets his goal to analyse the automobile sales sector. He focuses mainly on the situation of automobile dealers. He depictures the contemporary development of automobile sales in the Czech Republic and in the world. He observes the impacts of the world economic crisis on automobile producers and dealers. He closer addresses the Škoda brand sales network which he uses to illustrate his findings. On the basis of the analysis of the automobile sales sector he establishes its particularities which he categorizes as supplier -- dealer relation particularities, sector particularities and dealer -- consumer relation particularities. Broulík assesses the current block exemption and compares it with the legal regime which will apply to the automobile sales sector in EFTA from the 1st June 2013. He concludes that the current block exemption suits the established sector particularities better. He however closes that neither the automobile producers' ascendancy over dealers nor many other sector particularities should be treated through economic competition legal regulation.
Analysis of groupware applications in SaaS model

This bachelor thesis is focused on general characteristics and analysis of the Software-as-a-Service groupware applications. The main goal of this work is to choose, evaluate, compare and recommend suitable groupware applications for small and medium enterprises. The study of characteristics of groupware and Software-as-a-service business model is based on expert books and internet sources. The analysis of the market is built on a complex research of the internet and the use of the technological reports about groupware products. The selection of the products that are discussed in depth is based on the criteria coming from Gartner and Forrester reports. The evaluation methods are built on software product quality methodology, web content accessibility guidelines, and SaaS groupware specifics. The benefit of this work is the generated method for evaluating groupware applications taking into account general requirements of small and medium enterprises. Thanks to this method the chosen products are reviewed, compared and evaluated. Another contribution is a list of Software-as-a-service groupware products currently available in the market. The first chapters describe the terms Software-as-a-service and groupware in wider context. The next chapter presents the list of Software-as-a-service groupware products. The following chapter is about determination and creation of the evaluation methods. The last part contains evaluation, comparison and recommendation of groupware applications. The study is concluded with a summary of results emerged from the research.
Analysis of the "Švarc system" in small and medium-sized enterprises

Bachelor's thesis describes the problem of "Švarc system" in small enterprise in the Czech Republic. The thesis focuses on main advantages and disadvantages of this type of employment from the point of view of employers and also employees. This work provides information about components of wages, social security and taxation of personal income. Bachelor's thesis includes recommendations for companies and employees, who would consider this type of employment.
Possible solutions of implementation of company IS in a common way and SaaS, on the example of SMEs

This thesis deals with the possibilities of enterprise informatics solutions in the SME (small and medium enterprises). This target group is further specified and is taken into account especially the most strongly represented subjects in SMEs - micro-enterprises. The main goal of this work is exploring the practical use of modern trends in information systems such as cloud computing or SaaS in direct comparison with conventional enterprise informatics solutions. In the first part is the space dedicated primarily to theoretical definition of concepts and identification of elaborated topics. Inside acquaintance with individual technical terms there is an example of one particular definition of company enterprise informatics solutions demonstrated with practical examples. The needs and solving the needs of small businesses are then generalized to the common needs of such small companies. Another part is dedicated to the actual analysis of the market and possible solutions of enterprise informatics. According to the specific needs of small businesses several optimal solutions are selected and further more thoroughly investigated and tested. The collected data serve for subsequent comparison of possible enterprise informatics solutions with particular results. The reader himself can assess complexity and price of technologies, especially in the context of conventional solutions and new products. For evaluation of the needs of these small companies primarily MMDIS principles of the methodology are used. In conclusion of the thesis there is the evaluation of detected findings and creating of recommendations for these small businesses.
Analysis of the Possibilities of Grant Acquisition from Operational Programme Business and Innovation

The topic of this thesis is the support of the small and medium enterprises. The theoretical part deals with the sector of small and medium enterprises, its deffinition, importance and the support of this sector and the development of this support. The practical part is devoted to the analysis of the possibilities of the company ALLEGRO, s. r. o., that manufactures and installates drywall plasterboards and supporting constructions, to obtain subsidy from the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovations.
The possibilities for the development and support of small and medium enterprises in the region of Sokolov

The main objective of the thesis was to analyze selected forms of support for small and medium enterprises and their exploitation in the Sokolov region, further evaluate cooperation of small and medium enterprises with representatives of microregion and suggest possibilities for further development of SMEs. Characteristic of region Sokolov (general and economic) was conducted from secondary sources. Primary data were obtained from a questionnaire survey of SMEs in the region of Sokolov and from controlled interviews with representatives of the communities. There was conducted also a SWOT analysis of the Sokolov region, focusing on SMEs. Also were proposed forms of business support that are suitable for SMEs in the region and then were defined the recommendations and possibilities for further development of SMEs in region Sokolov. For example: improving information and cooperation of SMEs with local authority, with the Regional Chamber of Commerce Poohří, the use of SMEs development by means of Lake Medard, building a technology park and business incubator, etc.
The importance of marketing analysis for creating business plan of small enterprise

The aim of thesis is a marketing analysis in relation to the emerging enterprise and creating a business plan. Marketing analysis, in addition to the characteristics of the enterprise, business activity and financial plan, form a significant part of the business plan. It has substantial and great importance in the business plan and especially for business activity. The external environment, market, branch, competitors, suppliers, customers, opportunities and threats were examined in relation to the emerging enterprise. STEP analysis, SWOT analysis, Porter´s model and questionnaire were used. The obtained data served as the basis for the processing of a business plan and evaluating the success of the business activity.
The impacts of membership of the Czech Republic in the European Union on the local small and medium enterprises

The goal of this thesis was to analyze the conditions of small and medium-sized businesses after the Czech Republic joined the EU. I emphasized finding suitable recommendations for entrepreneurs how to care for future development and prosperity. Another goal was to analyze the state subsidy policy supporting this type of businesses and to find out about entrepreneurs` demands regarding such subsidies. The main goal was to propose recommendations how to improve the competitiveness of small and medium-sized firms. The first part of my thesis makes the reader familiar with definitions and the life cycle of small and medium-sized firms, their history, advantages and disadvantages, the present state of the Czech Republic and in the end with partnerships and alliances as a solution of typical problems of small and medium-sized enterprises. Another part concerns subsidies for small and medium-sized enterprises in 2004 to 2006 and 2007 to 2013 stating the most important among them in detail. The third part is a questionnaire and two polls trying to find the needs of small and medium-sized firms as for subsidies. Based on an analysis of these needs recommendations were made to improve the competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses.
Programmes of support of small and medium enterprise and its application in the chosen company

According to the topic of my thesis ``Programmes of support of small and medium enterprise and its application in the chosen company{\crqq} I analyzed the most relevant support for the concrete enterprise with regard to its intentions. I divided my thesis into two parts. The first part is focused on the description and analysis of small and medium enterprises in the Czech Republic concerning the European Union. The second part includes the support overview of this sector in the Czech Republic. Furthermore the chosen enterprise and its planned projects are presented. According to the enterprise intentions I analysed a support which appeared to be the most advantageous for the chosen enterprise. On the basis of the chosen support I elaborated a draft project.
