Electronic control units of present SI-engines
Michna, Lukáš ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis named „Electronic control units of present SI-engines” treats of presently known and extended electronic control systems of SI-engines, so those ones, who mainly control both fuel-air mixture preparing and its ignition in combustion chamber. These are two fundamental functions for engine running, so they are described in light of basic principle of operation and also in light of each kind of these systems and its developmental stage description. Next point is enumeration and description of single parts of electronic control system participating in engine controlling, separated to logic sections. The end of publication makes reader acquainted with most extended types of electronic control systems, their producers and elementary differences.
Electronic Control Units for Racing Engines
Daniel, Petr ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the electronic control of racing engines. This procedure performs electronic programmable control unit, which is the brain of all electronic operations in the engine. First is described the principle of electronic control. Further are presented the programmable control units and their features and specifications. The unit proPDM includes necessary equipment for proper function of the control unit. Each of the manufacturers uses their own software.
The present state and development trends of passenger car engines.
Ševčík, Michal ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Rauscher, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor`s thesis is about present situation and tendences of progress in construction of passenger car engine. Here will be shown the rate of different division engines, dependencies power parameters, emission levels CO2, consumption and also tendency in the development to the future. We get the evolutionary tendency from comparing of values obtained from years 2003 and 2008.
Overview and basic principles of vehicle sensors and actuators
Pecka, Luboš ; Ambróz, Richard (referee) ; Laurinec, Marián (advisor)
In this thesis is written out an overview and a basic principles of a vehicle sensors and actuators, which are used for electronic control of Otto and Diesel engines. The thesis is focused on both, fuel injection control and also ignition control of Otto engine.
Experimental testing of hydroinsulating injection screens efficiency in dependance on properties of building materials
Červenka, Martin ; Černý, Vít (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The most of the buildings are almost always faced with moisture in our climate. In the past, the humidity was reduced and conducted only by mechanical methods. Over time, chemical wet masonry method also known as chemical infusion curtain was invented and introduced into practice. This method involves the creation of boreholes at a selected height of humid masonry. These boreholes are impregnated with special solutions. These solutions in humid masonry fill pores in the field of boreholes and thanks to this subsequence the monolithic waterproofing curtain is created. The objective of this work is to determine the methodology for verifying effectiveness of various types of waterproofing injection curtains depending on the properties of the various types of building materials.
Rehabilitation technology of embankment dams by using suitable types of waste
Michalčíková, Magdaléna ; Kulísek, Karel (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The subject of this work is to find an optimal technology for repairing existing embankment dams with emphasis on simplicity and ecological scalability. Next, secondary energy and waste materials will be evaluated as a partial replacement of a quality montmorillonitic clay. The aim of this will be to maximize the use of these waste materials. In the end a selection of materials for the locality will be made. The use of appropriate types of waste for repairs of embankment dams with clay based grouting compound technology has a great potential, especially with those dams that are not fulfilling their function due to their age.
Draft Curtains new Ways of Waterproofing and Assessment Methodologies
Miková, Lenka ; Dohnálek,, Pavel (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
Gel injections are progressive and more and more widespread technology for wet masonry rehabilitation, which finds its use due to working simplicity, and final effectiveness. In their application is not necessary to use strong destructive methods on construction and functionality of the final waterproofing is at a very high level. But the actual application of these technologies has technological limitations, and therefore arose in construction practice need of research new gel infusion with additional parameters and added functionality. Given the lack of a uniform methodology for such complex research process, the main aim of this thesis is proposal for methodological process for the research of new gel materials, and their later efficiency verification in the construction practice.
The assessment of the use of motor vehicles equipped with diesel engines using direct fuel injection of Common - Rail.
ŠINDELÁŘ, Jan
This diploma thesis deals with the Common-Rail fuel system. The aim of this work is to develop an overview of development of the fuel-injection system. The first part is devoted to the description of the selected fuel system. All the parts of the system are described and explained there. Also the explanation of the management of the injection is included. Subsequently, other variants of the fuel system are described here. Further parts focuse on the diagnostic instruments and measuring emissions, also operational materials are described and divided in there. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the economic calculations which were made from the perspective of the economy operation of motor vehicles. The work also includes an evaluation of the measurements results and determines the appropriateness of the use of the Common-Rail fuel system for vehicles.
Simulation driving mode of the vehicle to determine the optimal operation of the engine.
HART, Petr
This paper deals with a description of the activities of the engine control unit in different modes of internal combustion engine, which were intentionally simulated on the basis of the selected situations from a normal operation. The work is divided into two basic parts. The first part is theoretical one and aims to create an overview of the fuel system of an internal combustion engine and its activities in synergy with the engine control unit. The second part is focused on the measurement of fuel consumption of the individual modes of the engine. Based on the measured values will be written recommendation to the driver for economical driving and thereby reducing the impact of negative impact on the environment.
