Modeling of energy flows in the municipality with battery systems
Řehořek, Tomáš ; Krátký,, Milan (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
This thesis studies battery systems and possibilities of their utilization together with PV systems mainly for domestic purposes. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the impact of increased number of BEVs on load demand. The aim of the thesis is to simulate and investigate the power flows, within a selected grid, with high levels of PV generation paired with battery systems. The calculation of the power flows is performed in OpenDSS and the input data for the simulations are generated in Matlab. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the technology of the battery systems and how they operate. The thesis also partly touches on the use of battery systems for grid applications. In the practical part, an evaluation of simulations investigating the capability of battery systems to limit peaks of surplus generated energy is performed. As well as that the impact of increased load caused by BEV charging and the possibilities of reduction of this load via use of battery systems is also investigated.
Kindergarten
Frieb, Vilém ; Struhala, Karel (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master project is to design a nearly zero-energy building of kindergarten. The kindergarten is designed as one storey building with capacity of 40 children split into two playrooms. Playrooms are separated and each of them has own sanitary facilities and locker room. Playrooms have large windows with external blinds on the south to provide solar gains. There is horizontal sun breaker above the windows which prevent overheating in summer. Load bearing walls are made of sand lime blocks. Walls are insulated with mineral wool board. Roof ceiling is made of prestressed concrete slabs. The building has a flat extensive green roof. The second task of the project includes design of lighting, rainwater harvesting, HVAC, source of heat and photovoltaic system. The third part is theoretical and includes searching for an ideal source of energy for the building. There are two types of heating compared such as gas boiler and a groundwater heating pump. The main software used for the project is Revit.
Low-energy building of kindergarten
Nečas, Lukáš ; Wierzbická, Helena (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of this project is to design a kindergarten with nearly zero energy consumption in Veřovice. The building is purposefully divided into three parts, where one part consists of locker rooms, an office, a food service and facilities for employees. The second part consists of 2 separate playrooms with a capacity for 40 children and the third part consists of the building services of the building. The project consists of three parts. The first part deals with the design of a building solution. It is a single-storey non-basement building, where the vertical load-bearing structures are made of Porotherm ceramic blocks and the horizontal load-bearing structures are designed from hollow prestressed Spiroll panels. The roof of the building is designed as a flat, warm, extensive green roof. The second part deals with the design of individual technical equipment. A ground / water heat pump is designed as a source of heat and cold. The building also uses mechanical ventilation, with heat recovery and the possibility of cooling selected rooms in the summer months. The third part consists of a detailed design of the heating system and contains a calculation of heat losses and a design of floor heating.
Environmentally advanced building - for sports activities
Krahula, Tomáš ; Horká, Lucie (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The task of the master project is to design a building for sports activities in Sehradice, Zlín region. First the documentation was elaborated, the second part HVAC was designed and the last part focussed on daylighting. The building has one floor and flat green roof. The building includes a fitness, a yoga room, a relax room, two saunas, changing rooms and staff room. The superstructure is designed using Heluz ceramic block walls and Spiroll panel floor structure. Façade is insulated with ETICS. HVAC is provided by two gas boilers, two mechanical ventilation units (indoors) and a cooling unit (outdoor). Domestic hot water is provided by the gas boiler and solar panels. The building uses LED lights. Electricity consumption is partially covered by photovoltaics on the roof. The building plot also includes a large carpark in front of the building. The designs were elaborated in Revit, AutoCAD and energy assessment in Deksoft software.
Solution Proposal of Solar Panel Instalation on the Selected Company Building
Vejchoda, Martin ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This Bachelor project focuses on processing the desing of photovoltaic powerplant for a small corporate facility. The first part describes solar energy, how can we use it, and the types of FV systems and cells. In the second part is the design of the systém. Firts, the object itself is descirbed and it’s energy consumption is detected and the suitable type of FVE is selected. The conclusion of the work consists the financial balance and economic return.
Photovoltaic Power Plant With A Battery Storage
Řihák, Roman
This work deals with the design of a photovoltaic power plant with a battery storage for household purposes. It describes principle, composition and application of a photovoltaic cell. The thesis also deals with the description of photovoltaic systems and the system of accumulation of energy in accumulators.
Solution Proposal of Solar Panel Instalation on the Selected Company Building
Vejchoda, Martin ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor project focuses on the design of photovoltaic power plants for a company. The thesis contains a theoretical part. Where i describe the individual concepts that focus on related work. In the practical part I will show you the design of photovoltaic power plant and the final results of the project installation.
Analysis of floating photovoltaic usage in the Czech Republic
Al Halabi, Enas ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
V této studii je zmíněna srovnávací analýza s cílem porovnat konstrukci, náklady, provozní prostředí a výrobu elektrické energie plovoucího a pozemního fotovoltaického systému.
Heating and ventilation of a wooden log house located in the foothills
Niemczyk, Roman ; Fišer, Jan (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with calculations of heat losses, design of ventilation and heating of a two-storey family house. Part of the thesis is the characteristics and description of the building, calculation of heat losses according to the standard ČSN EN 12831-1. Furthermore, the heating system is designed, including the choice of heat sources, calculation of underfloor heating and pressure losses. Subsequently, forced ventilation is proposed with heat recovery. The last part assesses the possibility of using a photovoltaic system for the object. Relevant technical documentation is also prepared for the proposals.
Kindergarten Krabík
Jakoš, Milan ; Kalánek, Jiří (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this master´s thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for kindergarten with almost zero energy consumption. The project consists of three main parts. The first part is devoted to the civil engineering design of the building. The building is designed regarding to architectural expression, quality of made and type of use. The kindergarten is designed with capacity of 48 children split into two departments. The second part is devoted to the design of HVAC systems. The building uses mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, heating is provided by two gas boilers and the need of electricity is provided by a photovoltaic system. Captured rainwater is used effectively. The third part values the building regarding the method of multi–criteria analysis. For this evaluation uses national method SBToolCZ.
