Recruitment and selection of employees

Recruitment and selection of employees is one of the most important activities in the personal department of company. The aim of my thesis is to analyze the process of recruitment and selection of employees, firstly from the theoretical point of view and further from the practical experience in the company ČSOB, a.s. I have summarized theoretical findings and recommendations regarding the process of recruitment and selection of employees according to the available literature in the practical part of my thesis. The practical part continue with the analysis of this process in the company ČSOB, a.s. This analysis has been realized on the basis of internal documentation, interviews with employees of the personal department and my own findings acquired by participation in selection procedure and assessment centre. As a last source of information for evaluation of this process I have used results of questionnaire examination that was realized in cooperation with the bank in April 2010. To finish my thesis I have summarized possible recommendations for improvement of the process of acquirement and selection of employees in ČSOB, a.s.

Thesis focuses on the personal management of a transport company Šindelář Spedition s.r.o. Especially the remuneration and motivation of a concrete group of workers {--} drivers of road trains is examined. The main aim of the work is a proposal of certain advancements in managing processes leading to decreasing of staff turnover and to securing the company competitivness. The first part is treating the problem of high staff turnover and describes personal activities in the company. The second part consist of the survey whose output is designed to change the system of remuneration and employee motivation. The final part contains SWOT analysis which is used for a future strategy concept and the recommendation for a whole company functioning.
Personnel management in a chosen transport company

This thesis focuses on Human Resource management of CSAD Jihotrans a.s. during the economic downturn. The purpose of the theses is to propose specific measurements for reducing the impact of the economic crisis on HR. The first part of the thesis analyzises the historical evaluation of CSAD Jihotrans and its relation to both regional and global economic trends. The second part contains controlled interviews and SWOT analysis. This method of controlled interviews enables the collection of primary information about top management and their views on economic crisis and its influence on the company. Potential development solutions have been established by using SWOT analysis and measurement proposals have been developed to reduce impact of the current economic crisis on human resources management by using the collected information.
Specific Needs Analysis Among the Employees and Voluntaries of "Centrum U Větrníku"

The subject of the thesis deals with the theory of needs in general and introduces some basic theories. One of them, the Herzberg two-factor theory is then used as a premise for the research, which intends to analyze the specific needs among the employees and voluntaries of {\clqq}Centrum U Větrníku``, which is a contact and counseling center for persons endangered by addiction in Jihlava. The second part of the thesis presents the needs analysis itself which was realized by a mixed-method research. Its first step was quantitative, the results of which were used in the second, qualitative phase. This method of examination in the field of needs fulfillment proved its worth and is recommended for use to other service providers.
Analysis of personal management in concrete entreprise

Goal of my thesis was a human resource analysis in chosen company, also examination and evaluation of work. The analysis was made in BRISK Inc. company. Bachelor´s thesis is above all focused on departments of human resource directing, human resource activities, work costs monitoring and comparing with costs of work in European Union. It also includes suggestions of framework changes. The thesis is focused on analysis of human resource key activities such as recruiting, dismissals, job evaluation, professional progress and care about employees. To begin this thesis I made a brief characteristic of company chosen. Human resource activities analysis followed and monitoring the work costs. I made the Czech republic versus European Union comparison on the basis of information acquired and suggested changes to improve the human resource activities to be more competitive. First class employees are one of top values of every company, because the employees are holders and fulfillers of visions, targets and strategies of company´s management. This is the reason why in modern companies are key activities the human resource, and it is important to pay extraordinary attention to them.

The bachelor{\crq}s thesis focuses on the personal management of a transport company ČSAD Jihotrans a.s. Especially the education of a concrete group of workers {--} drivers of road trains is examined. The main aim of the work is a proposal of certain advancements in managing processes and in further employees education leading to the production improvement and to securing the company competitivness. The first part is treating the problem of unsufficient working experience and education of drivers, trying to solve this problem through the education project for these employees. The second part contains SWOT analysis which is used for a future strategy concept and the recommendation for a whole company functioning.

The work is devoted mainly to differences in the concept of social responsibility small, medium and large enterprises in the Czech Republic. Today is in our country still not too well-known social responsibility theme mainly among small firms. This is perhaps the fact that small companies problems do not know, or feel that they are not concerned, or such investment comes unnecessary and, if appropriate, or do not know how to get started. this is the reason why I decided to devote a thesis of corporate social responsibility. Influence of personal management is to show that social responsibility is not only a marketing tool to improve the image of the company.
Communication - the key tool of personal management at work of manager

The goal of my thesis is to clarify the issue of communication and activities of manager at the company. In the theoretical part is first explained the general principles of communication, then the theory comes to a point of the description of the course of communication within the company, followed by the definition of manager's personality, his abilities and skills, which is complete range of activities in which the manager works with the personnel management. The practical part presents an evaluation questionnaire carried out in a particular company, the results should lead to the verification set of four hypotheses. In conclusion, it is evaluated the current situation in the company and proposed certain recommendations that could improve the status of some problem areas in the company.
