Metrans Dyko Rail Repair Shop, s.r.o. financial analysis

The goal of the bachelor thesis is to analyse Metrans Dyko Rail Repair Shop s.r.o. financial situation between the years 2006 and 2011. The thesis is being looked at from the perspective of a potential investor and is divided into theoretical and practical part. A methodology of specific calculations used in the practical part of the thesis is being described in the theoretical part. The practical part itself is specifically focused on individual methods of calculations used in the financial analysis. Among those individual methods used in the financial analysis are: analysis of absolute, ratio metric and differential indicators, balance principles, economic standards, pyramid array of current liquidity and Du-Pont pyramid array, selected credit-worthy and bankruptcy models and also intercompany comparison. The final financial situation will be evaluated at the end of the thesis. Also positive sides of company's economic activities will be highlighted and solution for the economic activities, which need improvement, will be recommended. Result of financial analysis of analysed company is satisfying, firstly low indebtedness and ability of company to generate profit.
Financial analysis of Michelské pekárny, a.s.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to undertake financial analysis of limited company Michelské pekárny. The analysis was based on data from the period 2006 - 2010. The thesis is divided into two parts. First part is methodical and it explains use of models and indicators. The second practical part starts horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheet and income statement. It also deals with assessment ratios, creditworthy and bankruptcy models and intercompany comparison with two similar firms in the same market segment. There is also made analysis of break-even point from which follows, that company deal with the long-term loss only systematic cost reductions. At the end of this part is made a brief SWOT analysis. The conclusion indicated the final summary and recommendations for improvement in some indicators.

The practical part of the work will bring also a basic description of the business and enterprise characteristics of Valtice Wine Cellars, followed by a financial analysis.

It uses its methods to increase the capability of data found in the financial statements to give meaningful information. The theoretical part of the Bachelor's Thesis focuses on introducing and describing various methods of financial analysis whereas the practical part of it focuses on application of the methods on the selected company and interpretation of the results. Special heed is paid to the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 and the ability of the financial analysis to display the global economic crisis and the following recovery.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the financial situation in Olma, a.s. during years 2006 -- 2010. The thesis is divided in two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part there are specified important terms and used methods, in the practical parts the company is analysed with horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and profit and loss account, ratio indicators, net working capital analysis and creditworthy and bankruptcy models. The company is compared to three competitors. In the conclution there are summarized the most important results and recommendations.
Funding of basic transport services

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the funding of basic transport services, which will be analyzed through the real business DPMO, a.s.. The report is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part explains the issue of providing public transport services and its compensation from the customer. It also includes a methodology for assessing the financial situation, with horizontal and vertical analysis ratios and an analysis of net working capital. To create comprehensive conclusions that are credible, the bankruptcy and creditworthy models are utilized. The practical part includes the the meticulous results from the DPMO analysis in the years 2006 to 2010, and the conclusion consists of a prepared summary. The last chapter includes a prediction for the next period using a model that predictss the time span durinch which the analyzed company is thriving if the previous trends are maintained, and if the compensation costs are not altered.
Financial analysis of Linea Nivnice, a.s. company

This bachelor thesis is devoted to financial analysis of Linea Nivnice, a.s. for the period 2005-2010. The aim of research is to estimate the financial state of the company. The horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheet, profit and loss statement and the analysis of ratio indicators and index fluctuations are used for the research. Economic Value Added and Du Pont model were calculated. Then the overall efficiency of the company was counted with help of creditworthy and bankruptcy models such as Altman index, IN index, Quick test and Springate model. The last part is about comparison of the company with competitors which is based on the method of standardized variables. In the conclusion the most important information on financial state of the company is mentioned.

The main objective of this thesis is to determine and evaluate overall economic situation of the company Zdenek Pecha from the managerial point of view. This company is engaged in providing public catering. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part is theoretical, where I explain the financial analysis in general and then the methodical apparatus. The second part is the practical part, where I apply the knowledge gained in the theoretical part on the practical illustration. In the practical part I try to summarize the overall economic situation of the company in period of years 2007-2011. In conclusion of this thesis I evaluate results found in the practical part.
