Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Firm and Proposals to its Improvement

This thesis evaluates the economic situation of the company PANAV, a.s Senice na Hané in the years 2005-2007. My thesis comprises four parts-evaluation of the present state of the problems, tehoretical base, the analysis of the current situation of the company and its improvement suggestions. I achieved my aim through the analysis of the general and subject neighbourhood and trough the teoretical konowledge from literature. I used selected methods ot the financial analysis. The result of the economic health check of the PANAV, a.s. is the basis for its improvement suggesitons. It is placed in the fourth part of my thesis.

This diploma thesis is focused on financial analysis of the pharmacy. The main attention is paid to elementary methods, mainly to analysis of balance, list of profits and loss, financial ratios and their systems. These methods are used for financial analysis of the pharmacy At the Lion. On the basis of findings, this diploma thesis includes proposals for improvement and evalutation of the contributions of these proposals for the company.

The main goal of this thesis is to analyze contemporary financial position of building company Pátek, spol. s .r. o. with an accent to selected methods of financial analysis and overall comparison with selected competition. At the basis of evaluation of the company position in the years 2003 to 2006 there are defined correspondent conclusions. Father possible solutions are proposed to manage company increasing production growth in future years.

This work process sphere of financial statements of selected company during the years 2003 – 2006. The theory financial analysis, its methods and tools, are discribed in the first part of this thesis. The financial analysis performed in analytic part of this thesis. Profitability ratios, asset management ratios, dept management ratios, liquidity ratios, Index IN and Altman index were used.. The work objektive of this master´s thesis is disclosure of problematic areas and proposal improvment of claim management.
