Kratochvíl, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This master thesis summarizes the current knowledge about non-commercial 3D printing FDM technology. The goal of this thesis is to demonstrate the gained knowledge by building a 3D printer which can partially replicate itself, and to evaluate its technological parameters. The experimental part of this work is focused on the impact of the changes in technological parameters of printing on mechanical properties of printed parts.
Assembling and Functional Verification of a Home 3D Printer
Tesař, Jaroslav ; Zouhar, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis was created as a bachelor project in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at VUT in Brno. In the theoretical part, the additive technology Rapid Prototyping is introduced together with the most common methods, followed by the assessment of advantages and disadvantages of the new technology and its possible uses in various fields of human activity. In the experimental part of the diploma thesis was assembled and the printing parameters were set. Consequently the comparison models were printed on the 3D home printer and on professional printer Dimension uPrint. The accuracy of the printers is compared. The thesis concludes with the analysis of technical and economical parameters.
Production of parts by DMLS technology and their comparison with other conventional technologies in terms of economic performance
Sekerka, Vít ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This diploma thesis presents a technology based on the gradual smelting of fine layers of metal powder by using a laser beam. It explains and describes basic terminology related to the Rapid Prototyping technology, its division and practical usage. A part of the thesis is also the fabrication of several prototype parts by Direct Metal Laser Sintering including the economical comparison of their fabrication with other conventional technologies.
3d shaping of UV curable ceramic feedstock
Z hydroxyapatitu ve formě prášku a komponent, vytvrditelných UV zářením, byly vytvořeny pasty, určené k 3D tisku komplexních keramických vláknových struktur a multivrstev.
Universal ethernet module
Řeháček, Tomáš ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with creating a universal module with Ethernet interface and its using for digital values measurement. The main module components are gate array FPGA, microprocessor, PHY chip and RJ45 connector. Printed circuit board is in this thesis designed in Eagle. The chase for board is drawn in SketchUp and printed on a 3D printer. There is a code implemented in created universal module that is performing the function of logic analyzer. Data measured by the analyzer are sent to the Ethernet using UDP/IPv4 protocol. The last part is creating an application in C# to display the measured waveforms on a PC.
Simulation of Impact The Heated Bed on Printet Model in 3D Printer
Sodomka, Petr ; Maxa, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis solves the 3D printing problematics for non-commercial printers. Firstly possibilities of its using, heat diffusion and printing materials are described. Next part of thesis is focused on heating pads and printing nozzles for which 3D models in SolidWorks software are created. The temperature analyzes are tested with these models and then comparing of results is done. Working models for SolidWorks Plastics and SolidWorks Simulation software is created in following part. Thanks to this software tools printing model is simulated and deformation creating in printing process is observed. The most suitable solutions are chosen from gained solutions.
Design of delta pi 3D printer with tempered bed using CAE systems
Koudela, Ondřej ; Maxa, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with 3D printing using non-commercial 3D RepRap type printers. This work briefly describes development trends of non-commercial RepRap printers, theory of FDM print with analysis and comparison of materials, which are used in printing and the issue of the finite volume method and theory of heat diffusion. The practical part based on simulations from SolidWorks Flow Simulation discussed two basic methods of heating hot bed, then the temperature profile of hot end and the heat flow in full assembly of the printer. Outcome of this work is design an optimized model and the physical assembly of 3D printer delta pi type.
Analysis of temperature profile of 3D printer hot bed and hot end by using CAE
Severa, Tomáš ; Maxa, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with 3D printing for non-commercial RepRap 3D printer type and materials used in printing. The outcome of this work is a brief introduction to 3D printing, the theory of heat transfer and analysis of the two most important parts of the printer hot bed and hot end. To analyze and optimize the temperature profile of the hot bed and hot end are used Computer Aided Engineering systems CAD and CAE, SolidWorks and SolidWorks Flow Simulation.

The Wheel of Death
Horčicová, Monika ; Chamonikolasová, Kaliopi (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
Bachelor thesis titled Wheel of death- Wheel of life cycle of life displays, which are inherently death. Object is part of the composition of the human skeleton in a circle, the imaginary ktrerý moves. The lower part of the wheel bends under its own gravity. The circle is a symbol of life and its cycle. The bones are a symbol of death.
