Art therapy at department with educational therapeutic regime for youth endangered by drug addiction, CESTA Řevnice.

The bachelor's thesis deals with art therapeutic work at the institution Cesta Řevnice which is a detached department of the diagnostic institution Prague 4. The theoretical part occupies with the definition of the expression adolescence and the problematic of addiction and development of children's drawing. The practical part introduces all the institution, its operation and an integration of the art therapy. The last part of the thesis presents two case studies which are concerned with art work of two clients. The art work was created during a group therapy within their stay in the department Cesta Řevnice. All the text is completed by a picture attachment.
Possibilities of using art therapy methods and techniques for children with autism spectrum disorder

This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of using art therapy techniques in the teaching process of pupils with autism spectrum disorders. The first part deals with the theoretical knowledge about art therapy field - general principles, methods and techniques that can be used in art therapy. In addition, the problem of autism spectrum disorder in the context of art therapy work is presented - the problematic areas associated with the ASD, to which art therapy interventions are most often targeted and which they try to influence positively, are specified. The conclusions and recommendations of earlier research on this subject are summarized. The theoretical background is followed by a case study describing the course of incorporation of some art therapy techniques into teaching when working with pupil with autism spectrum disorder in high school focused on the education of pupils with special educational needs. The aim of this work was to find out whether the use of art therapy techniques in teaching process can be beneficial. This was confirmed, the most striking impact was noted in the field of stress reduction and communication.
Use of artetherapy in pre-school children

This bachelor thesis deals with usage the art therapy at preschool children. Thesis is divided to theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part contains three main chapters introducing field realized in practical part. Practical part refers about art therapy with preschool children with special educational needs. In the beginning of practical part are defined thesis´s goals. Further, environment where the group took place was introduced. Information about meeting frequency, group division and structure of meeting and ethic´s aspects is defined. Attending children of art therapy group and individual meetings are briefly introduced. At the end of the theses it contains outcomes of used art therapy of preschool children, comparison of improvement in children´s art skills and description of difficulty the author has encountered.
Use of Art Therapy in Social Work

The main topic of this bachelor´s work is use of art therapy in social work. In the first under chapter of theoretic part I define the art therapy, it´s history, it´s forms which I split up in the individual part and the group part and I also define the education of the art therapist. Further I mention target groups such as children, adults and seniors. I also describe the different stances in art therapy. There are some methods like imagination, animation, concentration, shakeout, transformation and reconstruction. At the end of the first under chapter I have described technics of art therapy. Second under chapter contains the concept of social work, the role of the social worker and his education and social services. The practical part of this work contains qualitative research with use of technic of half standardized interview and with questioning method. The half standardized interviews were with five social workers and two art therapists who work in Brno in social services. The main goal of this bachelor´s work was to map possibilities of using the art therapy in social services. Particular goals were to find out, if the art therapy helps the users in social services, in what exactly does art therapy help and in which situations it´s most convenient to use the art therapy. Research questions are concentrated on application of art therapy in social services, on methods and technics of art therapy, theirs use in the context of social work and in this work is also shown the importance of working cooperation between social worker and art therapist. In my opinion I have full filed the results and I have found that the art therapy helps the clients with solving demanding situations, under stress and also just in a bad mood. Best benefits are development of communication, self-expression and connecting contacts. In my opinion the results of my survey could be used by social workers and also the art therapist. The results can be used by facilities which will get basic information about other types of facilities and they can improve their own deficiency. I also guess that this work can be interesting for the students who study social work or for the art therapists who want to concentrate themselves for social area.
Visual processing of topic: Mother and child

This bachelor thesis deals with mother and child attachment. It puts emphasis on early childhood when the attachment is forming. Theoretical part defines attachment term and presents main representatives of attachment theory. Furthermore, it describes types of attachment and specifies the pluses and minuses of secure and unsecure attachment. It concerns with formation of attachment before birth, reflects its evolution in early childhood and points on importance of atachment loss in adulthood. It also deals with motherhood, role of mother and birth partially. At the end of theoretical part the art therapy term is defined and Roznov art therapy, expressive therapy and interpretation are described. Practical part of bachelor thesis looks at the mother and child attachment issue. It tries to connect verbal testimony to mother and child attachment watercolor artwork. Then it finds some parallels between theese acquire materials.
Specifics of the art therapeutical work with young children in the institutional education (with a focus on early deprivation and CAN syndrome)

The aim of these bachelor thesis is introducing to the reader the theme of art therapy with the children with syndrome CAN in the environment of children´s home. Children with the syndrome CAN have specific needs based on the deprivation and attachment disorder which is introduced in the empirical part of these theses. In the empirical part, the author of this theses is introducing the theoretical support which is necessary for understanding the whole theme connected with syndrome CAN and the manifestation of behavior based on the syndrome CAN. In the research part of the theses the author presents two Case Study based on the Art Therapy work with the children clients. In the Case Study are displayed specific symptoms and manifestation of disorders which we can observe in the art products of these children with syndrome CAN. In the end of this theses is Discussion where the author discus conclusions and is looking for some summarizing and final thought.
Art therapy group for children in challenging standards of living

This bachelor's thesis discusses the theme of the art therapy group for children, which has been taking place in the non-state nonprofit organization for seven months. It is focused mainly on the artworks of children who grow up in a challenging family environment. The main focus is on the non-standart expressions of their artwork and also on their artwork expression development itself during the artgroup therapy attendance. The theoretical part offers an essential knowledge about these areas, based on resources from Czech special literature and foreign experts studies. The practical part is interested in an analysis of the art therapy group, with focused on positive and negative factors, which can influence the group process. There are presented two study cases of children, which were members of the group. Is presented their personal and family anamnesis, their place in the group together with their artworks. Each artwork has a detailed description of its development and it is also describing the manner of the work with each artefact in group session. According to the goals set of this thesis were detected non-standart expressions of children artworks which are growing up in a challenging standards of living. Changes in childrens artworks weren´t catchable. The causes and limits of this conclusion are finally summarized in the discussion.
Art therapy in social work

This bachelor thesis is focused on art therapy within the field of social work and on possible application of its techniques with different target groups. The first part of the thesis consists of an analysis of both the social work and art therapy in general and of a description of mutual elements of art therapy and social work. The second part of the thesis concerns with opportunities for art therapy from the social worker's point of view. The qualitative research of the thesis pursues the question of rate of application of art therapy in social work and the question of opinion on applicability of art therapy.
Possibilities of verbal therapy use as a therapeutic tool at the health care.

The main purpose of my bachelor thesis is to characterize verbal therapy, based on available literature, as it is. Especially its subgroups I focused on- bibliotherapy, poetry therapy, dramatherapy and reminiscence therapy. By defining these lines with the help of a literary research along with semi-structured interview method and observation method I attempted to outline the use of verbal therapy as a therapeutic tool at the health care. In a practical part, I dealt with the impact of verbal therapy on actual emotional condition, establishing of a social contact within the therapy and increased interest in verbal therapy in a certain phase of people's lives. My thesis contains a discussion, where we can find an assessment of the set goals.
Special educational intervention for children with behavior disorders

The diploma thesis addresses the issue of special education interventions in individuals suffering from specific behavioral disorders. Its theoretical part describes behavioral disorders in general, it explains what specific behavioral disorders are, and deals with their diagnostics and classification. Furthermore, it describes possibilities of interventions with individuals with specific behavioral disorders. It is focused on art therapy as on one of the techniques used in special education interventions. In its empirical part, the thesis treats the problem of the application of art therapy in the Educational care center environment with a client suffering from a specific behavioral disorder. The practical part of the thesis was implemented by means of qualitative research methods, specifically using a case study.
