Kavka, Tomáš ; Vláčilová, Ivana (advisor) ; Feherová, Martina (referee)
Title: The case report of physiotherapy care of a patient with the diagnosis of impingement syndrome and lateral epicondylitis The main goal of this thesis is to summarize the knowledge about impingement syndrome diagnosis and physiotherapeutic work with patients being diagnosed with this syndrome. The theoretical part will describe the anatomy and biomechanics of the shoulder girdle, etiopathogenesis of impingement syndrome and various methods that are suitable for treating these patients. In the practical part, which was based on the cooperation with the assigned patient, I will apply the acquired knowledge about the proposed topic. Key words: shoulder joint, shoulder girdle, rotator cuff, impingement syndrome, physiotherapy
Case study of physiotherapy care of a patient diagnosed with rotator cuff syndrome
Janatová, Klára ; Dudová, Agnieszka (advisor) ; Charvát, Robert (referee)
Title: Case study of physiotherapy care of a patient diagnosed with rotator cuff syndrome. Objectives: Summary of theoretical knowledge of the rotator cuff conditions and their treatment using physical therapy. Case study of a patient diagnosed with rotator cuff syndrome. Methods: The general part covers conditions of the rotator cuff, the impingement syndrome and physiotherapy methods used in pathology of the subacromial space. It also includes anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the shoulder girdle. Case study of a patient with diagnosed with rotator cuff syndrome is described in the special part. Therapy plan was determined on the basis of history and input kinesiology analysis and the effect of therapy was evaluated after individual therapies and output kinesiology analysis. Results: Motion in the patient's shoulder joint is painfree. Range of motion is increased in both flexion and abduction, and muscle strength is increased too. The patient was advised to continue physical therapy. Keywords: shoulder joint, impingement syndrome, rotator cuff, shoulder arthroscopy, physiotherapy
Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient after Proximal Humerus Fracture.
Doškářová, Tereza ; Novotná, Irena (advisor) ; Křížková, Štěpánka (referee)
Title: Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient after Proximal Humerus Fracture. Aim: Summary of theoretical knowledge and processing of case study of a patient after proximal humerus fracture. Method: Bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical part and special part. In the theoretical part I am focused on anatomical, biomechanical, kinesiological findings and facts. Furthermore I summarized examination and physiotherapeutical methods aimed on patients after nonoperative treated proximal humerus fracture. In special part you can find thorough case study and rehabilitation plan of the patient. Case study was processed in term 1.-19.2.2013 during clinical placement at Oblastní nemocnice Kladno. Key words: Fracture, proximal humerus, shoulder girdle, glenohumeral joint, nonoperative treatment, case study, physiotherapy
Complex therapy after surgery impingement syndrome omae
Váchová, Kateřina ; Němeček, Ondřej (advisor) ; Molnár, Petr (referee)
In my work I deal with the processing of case reports of three patients who underwent arthroscopic acromioplasty for the diagnosis of impingement syndrome of the shoulder joint, but each of them was physiotherapy led other way. The work consists of two main parts. The theoretical part includes kinesiology and biomechanics of the shoulder joint, including a description humeroscapularis rhythm and dynamic stabilization. I also deal with the diagnosis and defining impingement syndrome. The next section describes the various methods of complex therapy that can be used for a given problem. The practical part includes processing kinesiology examination, during therapy, and evaluates the effect of treatment with each of the patients. The shoulder joint is the most flexible joint of the human body, which is related to its instability and frequent vulnerability. In NsP Česká Lípa, where I conducted the examination was conducted in 2012, 54 arthroscopic decompression subakromialis type operations in 2013 and this was done in the period from January to end of March already performed 15 operations of this type. This number shows how often a problem is impingement syndrome. The main aim of this study is to compare which approach is beneficial for the patient and how surgery followed by a suitably chosen...
Rehabilitation after the shoulder joint arthroplasty
Trnková, Martina ; Jalovcová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Nováková, Tereza (referee)
Title: Rehabilitation after the shoulder joint arthroplasty Objectives: Confirmation of the hypothesis that there is a correlation between success of the surgery and the type of indication, age of the patient and the dominance of the operated upper extremity. At the end is the comparation of our achievements with foreign studies. Method: The clinical part was processed using standardized questionnaire with 34 patients from the rehabilitation clinic Medicentrum at Praha. This part compares the data 3 months after total shoulder arthroplasty with preoperative condition obtained restrospective at the same time. Results: The results show influence of the indications, age of the patient and dominance of the operated upper extremity on the successfulness after total shoulder arthroplasty. Key words: arthroplasty, shoulder joint, rehabilitation
