Impulse generator
Buš, Ondřej ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Kubásek, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the question of generating very short voltage impulses. At first it considers the most used behaviors of impulses and their mathematical description. Then it covers various principial circuit connections, which are used for generating short impulses. There is a scheme of controlled generator described in detail in this work, which is being used for exciting the forming circuit. Part of this work is also a description of program equipment, scheme of connection with designed desk of printed circuit. Description of construction of three shape circuits based on theoretical findings follows. Every solution is compared to each other upon time and frequency domain.
Technical Analysis
Kratochvíl, Bohumír ; Dřímal, Dominik (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
Master´s thesis goal that the author hopes to achieve is a design of an application aiding stock technical analysis based on identified needs. Based on analysis regarding modules for technical analysis of current trading platforms, I found out there is a certain space for improvement. Implemented trading rules and technical indicators of the application itself are further examined in terms of prognostic success rate on historical data. Selected chapters of technical analysis are fundamental base for this master´s thesis.
Comparison of Selected Methods for Prediction of the Capital Markets
Haltufová, Veronika ; Ciprich, Nikola (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
The purpose of this master’s thesis is comparison of selected methods for prediction of the capital markets. It is about technical analysis methods, used to predict trend of share prices of the capital market and finding entry signals to buy stock and exit sinals to sell stock. Methods are analyzed for selected stock from SPAD, which is part of Prague Stock Exchange.
Electronically adjustable active elements for the realization of oscillators and function generators
Bokůvka, Tomáš ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Polák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the design, analysis and realization of new oscillator and generator circuits using electronically adjustable active elements. In the opening discussion the aspects of distribution, proposal, properties and oscillation conditions of generators and oscillators are theoretically described. Next, there are presented some electronically adjustable active elements which appear to be suitable for construction of the oscillators and generators. This covers in particular the Operational Transconductance Amplifier OTA, Voltage Control Amplifier VCA and Digitally Adjustable Current Amplifier DACA. Using these elements the six oscillators and two functional generators are presented. Simulation results and design methods are included. Next part is focused on practical realization and measurement. At the end of the thesis the measurement and simulation results are discussed and compared.
Application possibilities of controllable current amplifier
Bradáč, Josef ; Koton, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the application using digitally controlled current amplifiers DACA (Digitally Adjustable Current Amplifer), which was developed at the Department of Telecommunications FEEC in cooperation with ON Semiconductor in 2010. In introduction is decribed the topic of active filters and oscillators. Farther active current components, besides DACA are described current conveyor UCC (Universal Current Conveyor), current amplifier DO-CF (Dual-Output Current Follower), MO-CF (Multiple-Output Current Follower) and FD-CF (Fully Diferential Current Follower) and operational transconductant amplifier BOTA (Balanced-Output Operational Transconductance Amplifer) and MOTA (Multiple-Output Operational Transconductance Amplifier). The following is a compilation of theories circuits using signal flow graphs, which are designed using a simulated filter circuits to control the cutoff frequency or the quality factor. Then design and simulation with auxiliary oscillator circuit AGC for controlling the oscillation frequency. Simulations are conducted with ideal models and with models that include some real properties. The conclusion of this work is devoted to the printed circuit board design for a selected filter circuit realization and measurement.
Four-electrode impedance plethysmograph
Port, Martin ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
This master’s thesis is an introduction to the measurement of changes in tissue impedance of blood flow by impedance plethysmography. Other chapters deal with the kinds of plethysmographs and their principles. The aim is to draft four-electrode impedance plethysmograph to measure changes in tissue impedance depending on blood flow. First, describe the individual blocks of the medical instrument. The practical part of the master’s thesis involves circuit design four-electrode plethysmograph. Given that a very important role in its function plays a constant current source operating at a frequency of 60kHz, this subset was implemented and verified its correct function. To draw component schemes used program EAGLE version 5.10.0.
Design of the PLL
Hejlek, Pavel ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
This work is dealing with phase lock loop design. In the theoretical part is principal description. In the practical part is detailed mathematical description, choice of various blocks, design calculation and optimalization of final solution. Designed solution is simulated and final result are commented.
DRM signal receiver
Mik, Šimon ; Charvát, Jiří (referee) ; Šnajdr, Václav (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the design of DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale) receiver. The block diagram of receiver was chosen and particular blocks were theoretically analyzed. After that followed design and production of each block. The synthesizer was programmed and the receiver properties were verified. The last part of thesis deals with real receiving of DRM broadcast.
Utilization of CDTA and CFTA elements in electrical circuits and frequency filters
Kotlán, Petr ; Herencsár, Norbert (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
Thesis deals about active component in current mode, CDTA (current differencing transconductance amplifier) and CFTA (current follower transconductance amplifier). CDTA compares two input currents. Outcome current comes trough added terminal Z to load. Caused voltage is transfered to output current by transconductance g. Output surrents shall be possitive (terminal X+) or negative (terminal X-). In contrast to CDTA, CFTA has one current input. Components were used in filters and oscillators. Some filters of second order realized simultaneously low, hight and nad pass were designed. Then, the transfer of filters with diverse topology with opperational amplifier to filter with CDTA and CFTA was shown. Some oscillators were designed. Designed circuits were simulated. Transistor models of CDTA and CFTA were created to purpose of simulation. This components can be realized by AD844 and MAX435. There are shown the conclusions of AC analysis of filters and transission analysis of oscillators. The thesis contains practical realization of second order frequency filter also. Device was made like a PCB by smd. CFTA was realized by components AD844 and MAX435.
