Implementation of certification authority and digital signature
Troják, Martin ; Koutný, Martin (referee) ; Lambertová, Petra (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with problems of certification authorities and digital signature. There are analyzed principles of digital certificates and certification authorities. It describes the the most widely used cryptosystems and hash functions, which are used in communications with certificates and digital signature. Analysis is focused on Public key infrastructure standard, which describes rules of creating of certification authority and digital signature. There is also described detailed principle of digital signature. Next chapters deals with studying of protocol SSL, principles of functions and usage of SSL. Practical part of this thesis realizes certification authority and information system. There is shown used software and configuration of it. Last part describes procedures during using aplication and her realization.
RSA Algorithm and Its Use in Electronic Communication with State Authorities
FROULA, Stanislav
This bachelor thesis focuses on the RSA algorithm and it's use in electronic communication. The RSA algorithm is curently one of the most widely used asymmetric encryption algorithms. It was first publicly described in 1977 by the mathematicians Ron Rivest, Adi Shamir, and Leonard Adleman. It's the first algorithm that is suitable for both electronic signature and public key encryption. The theoretical part explains all related concepts of cryptography. The basic operating principle of the algorithm is described in specific simplified example. It also includes a description of public key encryption and a list of institutions, which use digital signature to verify authenticity of the sender. The practical part focuses on a questionnaire survey, which investigates the awareness level of internet banking users in term of security of using internet banking and following the security policy recommended by banks. The results are analysed and evaluated at the end of the thesis.
Electronic signature and its use in accounting
Guzý, Ladislav ; Mejzlík, Ladislav (advisor) ; Singerová, Jana (referee)
Diploma thesis is focused on matters of electronic signatures and their possible usage in accounting and business process. The paper is divided into two parts. Subject of the first part is general analysis of terminology and characteristics of electronic signature, certificates and certification authorities and time stamps, including analysis of strengths and weaknesses of these services. At the end of this theory part are outlined some of the most common choices of using electronic signature in accounting system. In second part are analysed results of research, which was performed by sending questionnaire to a number of randomly chosen companies.
Cryptographic hash function
Čejka, Petr ; Ivánek, Jiří (advisor) ; Palovský, Radomír (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to create overview about cryptographic hash fiction. In the first part is explained what general hash function is with its use. Follows specification of cryptographic hash function with a description of the most common construction. The next chapter is focused on application of cryptographic hash function in practice with emphasis to digital signature. After this chapter is attention paid to security. At the end are presented the most popular and the most important representatives of cryptographic hash function.
Analysis and implementation of application for digital currency Bitcoin
DRDÁK, František
The thesis is focused on the topic of virtual cryptocurrency Bitcoin. The theoretical part is divided into several chapters. First of all, there is a chapter containing basic information about the currency's history, its development to the present, as well as principles of operation of this currency. Because it is a currency based on cryptographic principles next chapter summarizing cryptographic techniques, which is necessary to know for subsequent analysis of this currency. In other parts is elaborated a detailed analysis of the principles of Bitcoin. The main point of this analysis is a system of transactions, decentralized history, then joining the transactions into blocks and in the end creating blockchain. It also explains the principle of P2P networks. The practical part of this work focuses on the analysis and design of payment applications for mobile devices. There used open-source libraries such BitcoinJ. The application is developed in Java programming language with plugin for portable devices, which work under the operating system Android. For the purposes of analysis and design of graphical user interface is used UML diagrams. The specification of the UML diagrams was utilized by freely available graphics software and the result is also included in this work.
Electronic communication with state administration and self-government of the Czech Republic.
FRÖSTLOVÁ, Gabriela
This diploma thesis deals with an electronic communication with Civil Service and local government authorities in the Czech Republic. The introductory part defines the Civil Service and local government, in the other parts the thesis deals with the electronic communication itself. Further the thesis focuses on a communication through data boxes. Data boxes were put into practice in 2009 year. They are mandatory especially for institutions of Civil Service and local government authorities and business entities. An individual can also set up the data box voluntarily. Using the data box with an electronic signature, the individual can communicate with authorities electronically. The aim of the thesis was to map a state of the electronic communication in the Civil Service and local government authorities in the Czech Republic, South Bohemian region. This goal was carried out by means a questionnaire survey that took place in February 2012. Employees of the Regional Authority in České Budějovice were addressed, as well as employees of municipalities and job centres in chosen cities. The questionnaire survey showed that respondents evaluate the project of the data boxes mostly positively. Most respondents use the data boxes at their work as well as the electronic signature. This diploma thesis could serve to people who will start to work with the data boxes or they are thinking to set it up. However, the thesis also can serve to people who are interested in the topic of the electronic communication.
Internal Certification Authority
Kolb, Jiří ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Bumbala, Jan (referee)
With the rising number of internet users emerged the need for mutual authentication and secure communication. In the open environment of the Internet, this service is provided by a trusted third party using asymetric cryptography. This trusted third party - called Certification Authority - provides identification of the communication partners and the security of their communication through certificates it issues. Many large companies use certification authorities today. The goal of my thesis is the design and implementation of a CA for a small company, along with an evaluation of the benefits of introducing this new technology.
Internet marteting and ICT in Vietnam
Nguyen, Anh Tuan ; Štědroň, Bohumír (advisor) ; Kratochvil, Milan (referee)
The thesis deals with general theory of internet marketing, its opening and discrete premises for functioning, positive sides and threats that internet marketing can bring. An important part of the thesis is drawing an image of the current level of ICT infrastructure and the situation in internet marketing aplication in Vietnam.
The Usage of Smart Cards in the Area of Digital Signature
Jirovský, Tomáš ; Toman, Prokop (advisor) ; Obruča, Jan (referee)
This master thesis deals with the usage of smart cards in the area of digital signature. The descriptive part of this work outlines the basic principles of digital signature, smart cards typology and current most important application areas of smart cards. The first aim of the analytic part of this work is to evaluate actual situation on the smart cards market and to estimate future market trends. The second aim is to provide summary of new technological trends and areas, in which the usage of smart cards can be expected. These new technological trends and areas are described on the basis of survey, which was realized in the company OKsystem. Part of this work serves information about practical solution OKsmart and the analysis of its future development trends.
Electronic registries
Vele, Vladimír ; Rydzi, Daniel (advisor) ; Šindelář, Martin (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with questions of electronic registries in the Czech Republic. The fundamental terms that we have to familiarize with to understand rightly all the aspects, which relate to the problem, are described in the first part. Special chapter is dedicated to the electronic signature. The second part is a summary of legislative norms closely associated with electronic administrative actions. In the third and the last part we deal with analysis and comparison of solutions for electronic registries that are offered in the market in the Czech Republic.
