Modul for electrical stimulation
Lahodný, Libor ; Balogh, Jaroslav (referee) ; Bubník, Karel (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is concerned with the concept and building of the stimulator which is controlled using a computer USB port. The introduction discussed the issue of DC/DC converters and their possible variations. In the next section of the introduction describes the components used in the stimulator and the Arduino development kit whereby the further stimulator is controlled. This stimulator makes possible to change voltage, current, frequency and pulse width.Overload protection is realized with the aid of electronic fuse and using software.

Electronic Subsystem of a Small Mobile Robot
Podolan, Luděk ; Jílek, Tomáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is design and construction of a mobile robot with wheeled differential platform. The main goal was to design, implement and test an electronic sub-system for a small mobile robot. Each chapter firstly deals with theoretical aspects of relevant topics and after that describe the process of construction. The thesis shows various ways of construction of the robot with the process of selection of the optimal one. The main controlling part of the robot is the AVR microcontroller placed on the EvB4.3 development board. A simple menu was created on an LCD display for communication between the user and the robot. Battery management is controlled by an analogue to digital converter. The last two chapters focus on encoders and communication between the robot and a proximity sensor. Pictures of the robot are enclosed at the end of the thesis.
Small path follower robot
Zacpal, Michal ; Burian, František (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and subsequent implementation of the control system for small path follower robot. On the introduction are presents the platform´s on which the system was built. In the next section are gradually introduced: A module for following the line (HW, SW), modul for control motors (HW, SW) and the control unit (HW, SW). Then is presents construction on which the system was tested. Finally, there were implemented two algorithms for tracking lines. Whole system, including the plug moduls is built on Atmel microcontrollers, and this ATmega8 and ATmega328. They are based on open - source platform Arduino, because they contain Arduino bootloader. Microcontrollers using I2C bus to communicate each other. Control unit is using to communicate with users LCD display and four buttons. For scanning a line is using five reflective optocoupler CNY70.
Hardware and Mechanical Construction of a robot for EUROBOT Competition
Studený, Michal ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
The Bachelor’s Thesis comprises a summary of the realization of mechanical design for the robot competition EuRobot 2012. The introduction deals with the view of robots from previous years and selected parts of the competition rules that were mandatory for practical implementation. The body describes the construction design of the robot chassis, the selected drive, concept of the manipulator with snap and finally power electronics design. The management of the manipulator, monitoring of the surrounding area and the current state of the robot batteries are included.
Linear Actuator with Stepper Motor
Farba, Marek ; Jelínek, Aleš (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with linear unit with stepper motor. The paper discusses design of the unit, a brief description of linear motion guides and the stepper motor. It also deals with analysis of the model proposed units, the calculation of torque stepper motor and simulation. The conclusion of the bachelor's thesis describes the selected components of the constructed linear unit and its process of manufacturing.
System for securing suitable conditions for the growth of houseplants
Baťa, Lukáš ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
This thesis solve and describes the theoretical principles and the use of sensors of physical quantities. On the basis of programmed procedures are controlled actuators blinds and irrigation system. They are adhered optimal conditions for plant growth. The thesis also deals with the design and constriction of the system.
Audiostimulation
Sobotková, Marika ; Walek, Petr (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a device for audio stimulation, which will be used during examination with functional magnetic resonance. The next aim is to familiarize readers with magnetic resonance and stimulation. Whole device is controlled by microcontroller from open-source platform Arduino, model Due. Hardware is based on a non-soldering contact field. There is also draft of printed circuit board. Software is represented by flowcharts. Algorithm is designed and realized in wiring Arduino's library (which belongs to Arduino). Microcontroller is controlled by graphical user interface made by MATLAB.
