Bibliographic identification Name and surname of the author: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn Name of the dissertation: Physical activity of children with motor difficulties Workplace: Department of Sports Games Supervisor of the work: Doc. PaedDr. Rudolf Psotta, Ph.D. Year of presentation: 2011 Abstract Objective: Current knowledge of developmental disorders in motor skills of school children suggest potential negative impacts on the development of the personality of the child in the mental, social psychological and behavioural areas and also in the area of competence at school. Very little is known about how an insufficient level of motor skills of a child can limit his/her physical activity. This work was performed to discover whether developmentally determined motor deficit in children of older school age is a risk factor for lower physical activity (PA) and whether the attention of the child has a mediation function in the relationship between the level of motor skills and his/her physical activity. Methods: The research was based on analytical-descriptive examination of the motor skills of children, their physical activity in weekly regimes and the attention level, with subsequent comparison of children with a motor deficit (MD) and children without MD, through correlation analysis and analysis of the mediative...
Physical activity of women with regular participation in sport activities.
Schubertová, Monika ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Frýbort, Pavel (referee)
The issue: The issue of lack of physical activity refers to as the population of children and youth, as well as the adult population. Properly chosen and regularly performed sports games in terms of health may make recommendations of physical activity sufficient. This thesis deals with the physical activity of the adult population of women with regular physical activity. Objectives: The aim is to determine the amount of physical activity in the adult population of women with regular organized physical activity, and the results of comparison with older school-age girls without regular organized physical activity. At the same time to relate the observed results to health physical activity recommendations. Tasks and Methodology: Physical activity is detected using accelerometers ActiGraph GT3X supplemented the written record and physical activity. Results: The result of the study confirmed our hypothesis. The women with regular organised physical activity reported significantly higher energy expenditure peer week, work days and weekend days in comparison with without organised physical activity. Women with regular organised physical activity met the health physical activity recommendations in six days from all seven days of measuring. Older school-aged girls met the health physical activity...

Hojdar, Michal ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Bibliographical identification Title of Bachelor work: The amount of motion activity within a week's routine of football players at grade level Place of work: UK FTVS Author: Michal Hojdar Field of study: Physical education and sport Head of work: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn Defence year: 2012 Generalization: The Bachelor work "The amount of motion activity within a week's routine of football players at grade level" focuses on acquisition of new knowledge concerning an extent, intensity and content of adolescents' motion activity who regularly apply themselves to an organized form of motion activity. A theoretical part comprises knowledge dealing with motion activity, its organized form and relation to adolescents' health development. The amount of motion activity was charted with the help of acceleration metres and written recording. In the closing part of the work there are verified hypotheses with the results of completing or not completing the health recommendation. Key words: an adolescent, an acceleration metre, an expenditure of energy, football, organized motion activity
Energy expenditure of driving in a wheelchair in people with lower limb amputation
Němeček, Pavel ; Kálal, Jan (advisor) ; Špaňhelová, Šárka (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to determine the effect of driving in a wheelchair and walking on crutches on the energy expenditure and cardiopulmonary system in people with lower limb amputation. For this measurement we used a device Metamax 3B made by Cortex, functioning by measuring the concentration of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the breathing air, and a sporttester made by Polar. On the basis of oxygen consumption is possible to determine an energy expenditure during the activity. Our study was attended by 11 probands (men), patient of long-term hospital in Motol Hospital. Nine probands were amputated from vascular causes, one from the traumatological causes and one from the other causes. Probands rode (or walked) for four minutes back and forth along the corridor thirty meters long. They were instructed to ride (walk) at a speed to fit their needstand to also keep the same pace for a defined period of time. Walking on crutches without prosthesis managed only three of the testing file. During the study, these values were measured: distance traveled, average speed, oxygen consumption (VO2, VO2/kg, VO2 peak), carbon dioxide output (VCO2), respiratory exchange ratio (RER), tidal volume (VT), breathing frequention (BF), minute ventilation (MV), heart rate (HR), energy expenditure and performance. In this work...
Comparison of amount of physical load in the Czech and Austrian footballers at the same level of performance
Bujnovský, David ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Frýbort, Pavel (referee)
Title: Comparison of the size of the motor load in the Czech and Austrian soccer players at the same performance level Objectives: The aim is to determine the size of the physical load of players during a football match. At the same time the next aim is to determinate the differences of physical load between Czech and Austrian soccer players at the same performance level. Methods: The indirect (mediated) observations was used in this bachelor thesis, because the data were recorded by computers, from which data were subsequently processed to form of the results. Sporttester "Polar RS800" were used to assess the size of the physical load. For statistical analysis the "effect size" was used. Results: In terms of size of the physical load the significant difference was found between Czech and Austrian soccer players in average time spent on level of higher physical load (heart rate over 85% of maximum heart) during the football match. However, based on the conditions under which measurement were made, it is clear that it is impossible to draw definite conclusions. Keywords: Football, physical load, energy expenditure, heart rate, player's positions
