Influence of family background on origin and development of childrens behaviour disorders.
ZAVADILOVÁ, Dita
Behaviour disorders are beside adequate behaviour in the certain age and in the certain social-cultural surrounding. An individual with behaviour disorders counteracts particular behaviour standards (moral or legal rules). Causes can be innate (hereditary), which are less serious, or as a result of upbringing (impact of people of the same age, family, gangs), when a young man in such a way emulates his or her surrounding. Behaviour disturbances can be generally characterized as a deviation in the area of socialization, when an individual is not able to respect the common standards of behaviour on the level corresponding his age.

Equal opportunities and combining working and family life from perspective of women (analysis of discourse)
Novák, Ondřej ; Vodochodský, Ivan (advisor) ; Vodáková, Alena (referee)
This master's thesis deals with the question of combining family and working life from a gender perspective. The main focal point of the thesis is a discoursive analysis of interviews with women/mothers, who returned to their places of employment either after or during their maternity leave. The analysis deals with the two levels, on which the narratives of the respondents move: discoursive (using interpretive sources and a discoursive framework) and practical (concrete practices). It's main area of interest is the method with which the repsondents construct their presence within the question of combining family life with their employment, i.e., which discourses do they use in their narratives, and conversely, in what way do these discourses limit and co-create their rhetorical and social practices. The analysis of the interviews develops into a simplification of a schematicization of relationships between individual discourses, while at the same time indicating the consequences of those relationships for some concrete practices of the women themselves. In an important conclusion, the thesis reveals the lack of presence of a discourse on the positioning of the male in the private sphere (e.g., man-father) as a prerequisite for the women's engagement in their employment. Finally, the thesis compares the...

The functionality of single - parent - divorced family in relation to a child
ELIŠKOVÁ, Zdeňka
Every man enters the marriage and founds family with the idea of undoubtebly lucky and everlasting attachment. Unfortunately, it often happens, that sooner or later, a break-up of this idea occurs. During our lives, all of us face the break-up of marriage, respectively the family from our experience or from people around. The family break-up phenomenon is largely interconnected with the disintegration of traditional society and its transformation into modern industrial society that is set up with other values, other way of life, and legitimity of its autority. If the family does not meet its main objectives, it means important risk for the man affecting his sensitive spots by its dysfunction and afunction. All the members of family, children and adults are given their home by the family. The family nowadays, however, is considerably vulnerable due to changed social situation. The growing number of single-parent families, i.e. families where mother or father themselves take care of their children, is increasing with the number of divorces. The family has as unsubstitutable role in development and children´s bringing up. Instability of family life represents a serious threat in child socialization. The family system functioning is based on personality character, especially in parents, and that is why, when one of the parents fails in his/her basic role, the whole community is severely disturbed. In this regard, it is necessary to ask a lot of questions: How do single-parent families function? Are these families functional in relation to the child? What problems do these families meet? Is it necessary to help these families and how to do it? The last investigation into functioning of families was conducted in the 1980s by means of the Questionnaire of family functionality in relation to a child by Prof. Dunovský. In my thesis I decided to test the functionality of present families, and exactly single-parent {--} divorced families, which are constantly increasing in our society. Every fourth family in the Czech Republic is reported to be single-parent family. The aim of my thesis is, therefore, the findings of functionality level of these single-parent {--} divorced families.

Quality of life is a multidimensional concept that has been researched in many scientific fields. It has gained an important position especially in medicine, sociology, and psychology. The aim of the study was to monitor specific indicators of quality of life (QoL) and lifestyle in a representative sample of Czech children within an international study of the World Health organization (WHO), The Health Behaviour in School Aged Children: A WHO Cross National Study (HBSC), to analyze QoL in Czech children according to age, gender, and place of residence, and to evaluate it as it relates to other important factors associated with lifestyle (formal structure of the family, the amount of time spent together in the family, adaptation to school, subjectively perceived degree of demands for achievement in the school, social relationships, alcohol and tobacco consumption). Comparison of refugee norms socialization process in the Czech Republic and Norway
Slováková, Linda ; Rolenc, Jan Martin (advisor) ; Novotná, Markéta (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the stage of the socialization of the rights of refugees in the Czech Republic and Norway, to identify the identical as well as different characteristics of the process in both countries and to compare the final findings, alternatively to predict the development of the issue. The thesis offers an analysis of the activities of the domestic and transnational advocacy networks relating to the norms and standards of refugee right. We have classified the third phase of the norm socialization process, the phase of tactical concessions, based on the five-phase model of norm socialization presented by Risse-Kappen, Cropp and Sikkink (1999). Neither one of the countries have reached the final, the fifth phase, the rule-consistent behaviour. We have come to the conclusion that in both states there will continue the different interpretation of the refugee norms by the actors as a consequence of the different interests and identities. The analysis and the comparison were the crucial methods used in the thesis.

Health and social care for cancer patients in university hospital Pilsen
RATHOVÁ, Lucie
The bachelor thesis focuses on the health and social problem of oncologically ill patients in Plzeň university hospital. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and an empiric part. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the occurence of oncological illnesses and gender distribution. Further on, the theoretical part describes some of the examination methods, the causes of oncological illness origin and subsequently it deals with the social influence on the patient who is oncologically ill and under palliative care. In the last section of the theoretical part health and social services provided by the University Hospital in Plzeň for oncologically ill patients are described. The goal of the practical part was to describe the problem of oncologically ill patients in the Plzeň University Hospital from a multidisciplinary care point of view. To gain information I used the methodics of a qualitative research. Semi-structured interviews were used as a tool for the research. Semi-structured intervews were carried out with ten patients who were getting treatment in the Plzeň University Hospital. Research questions were the following. How do patients in the oncological department perceive the care provided? What problem within multidisciplinary care do patients perceive as the most serious one? The result of the thesis is the finding that patients in Plzeň University Hospital are satisfied with health care, with the treatment as well as the behaviour of caretaking staff. The most serious problem they perceive within the provision of multidisciplinary care is the fact that they have not met any social worker or psychologist. Services of these two members of a multidisciplinary team have not even been offered to them. Many patients have told me that they were missing this kind of help, they were left to solve all problems by themselves.
