On a historical and linquistic background I follow the most important moments ofhis work. Following the ideas of a formal literary critisism starting in the early years of Czechoslovakia coming to the controversary formulations of recent critics. I also try to formulate the rules of judging Vamoš' s expressionist style and language in close relation to his specific situation in the "literary playground". The very important role in understanding the specific features of his "asimilated jewish mentality" is part of historical section of my work. The relating unit of whole work is tragic life story of doctor Gejza Vámoš. My work is devided in four main parts. In the first part of my work I have tried to reveal the mystery of very complicated and strong personality of Gejza Vámoš. Kozak, Maryana ; Rataj, Jan (advisor) ; Houda, Přemysl (referee)
Czechoslovak new wave even today with time distance presents a peak of Czech and Slovak film industry in terms of quality, quantity and international renown of the films that have produced in the 60'. This thesis is devoted to understand the starting-points of the origin of this phenomenon and to analyze the background and conditions under which these masterpieces of the Czech and Slovak cinema were realized. The aim of this paper is to explore the particular films of the chosen directors and on their example to demonstrate the trends that were symptomatic to all the films of the Czechoslovak new wave as well as to point out the differences of the films and their authors. Concurrently the paper strives (thrives:)) to ascertain to what extent Film and television academy FAMU as well as young generation unloaded by the stalinism had on the film industry of the 60'. The remarkable and multiple coincidence helped numerous masterpieces to be produced, not only in the field of film. What is even more curious is the fact that all this was being carried out during the totalitarian regime, where was only little chance to see the world outside. Nevertheless the films of the czechoslovak new wave offer up such a deep and universal cognizance that one can hard believe that they were filmed behind the "closed" boarders. The conclusion arouse from the hypothesis stated in the introduction of this thesis, and is either approving them or refuting.

Murry Rothbard a jeho přispění k objasnění Velké hospodářské krize
Sejček, Zdeněk ; Potužák, Pavel (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Pavel (referee)
There were many attempts to explain what exactly happened to USA?s economy between years 1921 and 1929. First and for many years the only one ?mainstream? explanation was that the main cause of Great Depression was underconsumption and overinvestment brought about by irresponsible customers and much more irresponsible investors. But there were also other explanations, based on totally contradictory conclusions and main cause of business cycles was found in state?s driven monetary expansion. Murray Rothbard?s explanation, based on Austrian Business Cycle Theory and developed in his book America?s Great Depression (written in 1963), is just one of them. In this book (despite of it has more than 300 pages) he advocates only one receipt how to avoid depressions: to stop FED?s power to inflate. Only this governmental agency, delegated by government to care about money and to expand money stock when necessary, can cause such big depression as Great Depression had been. Natural business cycle, less serious without compare, is organic part of every market and there is no reason to fight against it. But in the background with ever-present governmental attempt to do things better than something uncontrolled like market, business cycle changes itself to destructive long-term process that might take multiple more time to recover back to prosperous and healthy economic system. As Rothbard pointed out, all depressions without governmental interference were short-lived and self-adjustment process completed itself as rapidly as possible. The main ambition of my work would be to summarize Murray Rothbard?s work regarding Business Cycle and especially Great Depression and put it in context of Austrian Business Cycle Theory.
