3D Pathfinding -- Searching Path in a Building
Macek, Ján ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the description of the algorithms used for searching in the state space and the subsequent implementation of a searching path for the building. The first part of the thesis is devoted to methods for area description. The next chapter explains the methods of pathfinding in space. The third part of the paper describes the implementation of an application. In conclusion, are the results of testing and their assessment.
3D Spatial Indexing of Objects
Drbal, Miroslav ; Dvořák, Radim (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This diploma thesis defines the term indexing and in preamble are discussed known indexing algorithms and difference between indexing static and moving objects. The practical part of this diploma thesis is aimed to designing and implementing of indexing algorithm for open source application MaNGOS with respect to generic design pattern and effectiveness of spatial search queries for selection of the objects given properties in the specified area. At the end I present and discuss reached results.
Scene Analysis Based on the 2D Images
Hejtmánek, Martin ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis deals with an object surface analysis in a simple scene represented by two-dimensional raster image. It summarizes the most common methods used within this branch of information technology and explains both their advantages and drawbacks. It introduces the design of an surface profile analysis algorithm based on the lighting analysis using knowledge and experiences from previous work. It contains a detailed description of the implemented algorithm and discusses the experimental results. It also brings up options for the possible enhancement of the projected algorithm.
Adaptive Methods for Elliptic Partial Differential Equations Solution
Humená, Patrícia ; Kunovský, Jiří (referee) ; Valenta, Václav (advisor)
The objective of this project is to get familiar with the numerical solution of partial differential equations. This solution will be implemented by using a grid refinement based on the aposteriory error estimation.
Synchronization of Generator by Applied Synchro-check Relay in Feeder Terminal
Gregr, Tomáš ; Novotný, Jan (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The aim of this work is a theoretical analysis of the parallel operation problems of electrical networks, as well as of the connecting the synchronous alternators to the electric power system. The knowledge of the present methods of connecting the synchronous alternators to the common network, of the historical evolution of this set of problems, of the phase conditions, their permitted deviations, as well as of the actual use of the modern phase automatic equipment, thereafter we to concentrate exclusively on the function of the synchro-check feeder terminal REF 543 produced by the ABB company. A part of this work is the analysis of the transient phenomena, that of accurate phasing, as well as that of phasing during a voltage, frequency and phase shift. Thereafter our goal is to get acquainted with the configuration program CAP 505, to carry out the communication of the REF 543 with PC, creating a new project, its configurating and then transmitting it to the REF 543 terminal. Further we occupy ourselves with the project to adjust the synchronous function synchro-check to phasing. The main task of this work is the proposal and the following testing of the connexion with the aim to test the synchronous function of the REF 543 terminal in cooperation with the output circuit breaker simulated on the test panel from the ABB company. Using the 6-phase generator from the UNIMA-KS company, this will simulate the voltage of the alternator. The network voltage is induced by means of the three-phase autotransformer from the Křižík n.p. company. We end this work up with a detailed description of connecting the terminal to the computer, with its following configuration, with setting up the required values, as well as with connecting the apparatus on order to test the conditions for the correct connection of the whole device.
GRID Aided RapidMiner
Mikulín, Ondřej ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this work is integration of RapidMiner into the GRID environment and parallelization of mathematical model optimization. Different subtask time complexity was considered during realization. Result of this work is application RapidParallel based on GPL software.
Steam boiler with grate firing burning mix coal and wood (mixing ratio 30/70-wood)
Dvořák, Aleš ; Kohout, Přemysl (referee) ; Skála, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma work attends to presentation of steam grid boiler for wood and brown coal burning in scale (30/70-wood) in load 60t/h, with parametres of outgoing vapour p=7MPa, t=490°C. The work is splitted to several chapters. At the beginning I’m going to make stechiometric calculation and entalpic calculations of air and compustion gas. After that I’m going to calculate heat balance, losses of boiler and set heat efficiency of boiler. Then I’m going to suggest combustion chamber of boiler and make heat calculation. After suggestion of combustion chamber I’m going to set proportions of pulls and heat-delivery surface. In last chapter I’m giong to check heat balance. Inclosure of my work contains drawing documentation of steam boiler.
Graphic VFD display control using Atmel microprocessors
Hrubý, Michal ; Pust, Radim (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis discusses VFD displays; the operating principles, construction, applications, types of displayable information, power supply and control. The thesis explains means of communication and control of modern VFD modules with exemples code. The thesis also includes a selection of a particular graphic VFD display in accordance with the given requirements and design of power supply and control circuits on a printed circuit board.
Architecture of socially excluded - Higher security prison in Brno
Kanderová, Denisa ; Navrátil, Aleš (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor)
Functional concrete building united by concrete grid. The second clear mass hall. Both buildings connected by footbridge a joined the central hallway.
Framework design for automated testing of web sites
Sieber, Lukáš ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
This master's thesis is based on automated web applications testing with freeware instrument utilization developed under Google code project. It is called Selenium webdriver and become very popular during last years. Selenium webdriver is frequently used for web pages automation. Indisputable advantages of this solution are low entry cost, selenium is broadly used and also live community around that instrument with many useful informations. Main goal of this thesis is creation of automation framework created by Java programming language. This final framework will integrate Selenium webdriver and guarantee easy creation of testing scenarios. Because of this goal is placed mainly on separation of web page programmatic description and description of testing scenario.
