OprDU - Software for Correcting Homework
Rosa, Rudolf ; Knap, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kulič, Luboš (referee)
It has been discovered that there is no suitable tool for teachers which would make correcting of homework easier for them. Therefore the goal of this work is to create a complex yet flexible software solution for students and teachers for dealing with written homework. The solution combines advantages of current approaches to the issue and eliminates their disadvantages. By its components it covers all phases of work on the document, i.e. its creation by the student, submission to the teacher, correction by the teacher, sending the corrected homework to the student and displaying the corrections to the student. The main part of the solution is an application for the teacher which enables him to make the corrections. It contains advanced functions, e.g. spell-checking or document export. There is an emphasis on maximum effectiveness and user-friendliness. An XML format has been created to represent the documents, which supports not only easy marking of corrections but insertion of other information as well. A server communicating via Web services has been created for a more sophisticated management of the documents and for communication between teachers and students. The last component is a simple student application for documents handling.
Preferencev querying, indexing, optimisation
Horničák, Erik ; Vojtáš, Peter (advisor) ; Ondreička, Matúš (referee)
In this thesis we discuss the issue of searching the best k objects from the multi-users point of view. Every user has his own preferences, which are represented by fuzzy functions and aggregation function. This thesis designs and implements several solutions of searching the best k objects when attributes data are stored on remote servers. It was necessary to modificate existing algorithms for this type of obtaining data. This thesis uses several variants of Fagin algorithm, indexing methods using B+ trees and communication via web services.
Social plugins: history and usage
Habartová, Lucie ; Šlerka, Josef (advisor) ; Zbiejczuk, Adam (referee)
Thesis aims to present the current situation of social plugins growth. It examines social plugins from users and website owner point of view. At the beginning, the work reminds of web present emergence and comes after with emergence of social plugins. Work examines also the terminology of term "social plugin". Social plugins (as is Facebook Like button) are described in chapter Type of social plugins, after this comes chapter about practical usage of social plugins. Parts of this chapter are case studies and evaluations of advantages and disadvantages. Last chapter follow social plugins from the user's point of view. The subjects of examination are motivation to share information online and present results of studies and research, which has been prepared by author of this thesis. In enclosure can be found complete list of the most exploited social plugins including their functions and possibilities of usage.

Service-oriented simulation architecture
Polášek, Petr ; Sklenář, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kavička,, Antonín (referee) ; Češka, Milan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on design, modeling and simulation of heterogeneous systems with emphasis on discrete-event systems. It proposes service-oriented simulation architecture where modeling and simulation is treated as a service and establishes a DEVS Meta Language that is intended for implementation of simulation models based on the DEVS formalism. Special M\&S techniques are described and integration of existing simulation tools is discussed as well.
Business Process Representation as RESTful Resources
Chernikava, Alena ; Kreslíková, Jitka (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
Almost every company in the world deals with business processes on a daily basis. And business can derive signi cant bene t from taking a formal approach. This means, that the business process is formally described (for example using Business Process Modeling Notation 2.0) and implemented in some Business Process Engine (BPE). The aim of the thesis is to design a general API (BP Orchestration Web Services) that does not depend on BPE for business process monitoring and manipulation. The main problem of current APIs is that they are not uni ed, do not provide enough exibility and are too tied to the one particular BPE. This thesis includes general information about work ow, about BPMN and basic principles of REST architectural style. Based on this knowledge problesms were formally stated and as a solution BP Orchestration Web Services were designed and implemented. Web Services allow to instantiate a process from abstract de nitions, monitor the state of the process and manipulate with the process (including advanced manipulations such as exchanging a sub-process in the running instance for some another compatible sub- process). The RESTful API was designed in a way to minimize the client implementation and restrict client’s knowledge about internal details. As part of the thesis a connector to BonitaBPM was implemented and integration with BonitaBPM was done.
Process Platform for the National Subsidies Information System
Orava, Martin ; Kreslíková, Jitka (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This master thesis deals with proposal of design and demonstration of possible integration between Nation Subsidies Information System 2016 (ISND) and future solutions Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Agribus and process platform Business Process Management (BPM) Agribus. There is performed an analysis of requirements for ESB AgriBus and BPM AgriBus. For the implementation of ESB AgriBus is used Apache ServiceMix. Furthermore, this thesis deals with a proposal of improvements of the current solution of ISND, which are required to perform new role in the ESB AgriBus. The possibility of the integration between ISND and ESB AgriBus is demonstrated on a model business process of application for grants.

Configuration and diagnostics for Smart Grid
Hrbek, Martin ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Franek, Lešek (advisor)
This thesis designs a solution for configuration and diagnostics for the Smart Grid. It creates use case diagram for configuration and diagnostics and designs individual software modules of the system. The thesis informs a developer about suitable devices for configuration and diagnostics for the Smart Grid, especially about rugged handhelds. The thesis chooses suitable software tools for development of designed modules and contains recommendations for developers, how to use this tools. The realization of one of the designed modules verifies the correctness of the designed solutions and approaches.
