Violent criminality focused on bullying

The theme of this bachelor thesis is Violent Criminality with a Focus on Bullying. It is focused on characterizing legal, social and criminogenic aspects of bullying, to analyzing the frequency of occurrence of aggressive behavior of pupils and students of selected schools in them municipality with extended powers Soběslav. The theoretical part defines basic terms such as aggression, bullying, aggressor, perpetrator and victim, brings knowledge about the history and legal regulation of bullying. It also describes factors that influence the emergence of aggressive behaviour. Within phenomenology the thesis deals with the current state, structure and dynamics of criminal acts related to bullying based on data obtained from the statistics of the Police of the Czech Republic. The application part is based on primary data obtained from an anonymous questionnaire survey conducted at selected primary and secondary schools in the municipality Soběslav. In this section, three hypotheses have been set about the frequency of aggression within different age categories, form of aggressive behaviour and bullying latency. It has been found that aggression between pupils and students increases at a certain age. The prevailing form of aggression is verbal as expected. However, the latency of aggressive behaviour is lower than expected. The results of the survey were compared with the results of police analyzes, which indirectly confirm the findings. The benefit of the bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the given issue in the given territory. Furthermore, it can serve as an auxiliary study material in the study of social and legal areas. The thesis can also serve as information source for the staff of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and other subjects dealing with the pathological behaviour of young people.
Risk Behavior Connects with Graffiti

In the bachelor thesis was used qualitative research strategy. This research was conducted by interviewing and semi-structured interview. The data was divided into several cluster based on similarity. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out, which forms of risk behavior graffiti writters commited. The target file is composed of graffiti writers, who are in this subculture for long period of time. Graffiti writers come from the whole Czech Republic. In theoretical part is described graffiti subculture, the next part is devoted to definition of risk behavior and criminality connects with graffiti. In the last chapter I tried described social work and in the next part I described organizations, who could work work with this subculture. The research results provide us complex view on graffiti writters and their motivation. The research is focused on their experiences with graffiti and their experiences with risk activities. The research also describe, how were graffiti writters punished fot their non-legal behavior and if their have some experience with social work. I am also interested if their have legal zones for graffiti. The research result that the thesis bring may help for better understand graffiti subculture and can help solve the question, how work with this subculture.
A History of Criminal Law in the Czech Lands in 1848-1989

1 Summary Dissertation builds an objective, transparent, systematic and yet concise interpretation of the history of criminal law in the Czech lands in 1848-1989. The aim of this work is, however, not only to chronologically present the most important criminal codes, but also to tell a parallel story of criminal law science and criminology, which to a bigger or lesser degree substantially influenced the development of criminal law and criminal legislation. Therefore, this work also includes biographical and bibliographical profiles of leading Czech educators, criminal law scientists and criminologists - the founders and pioneers of Czech and Czechoslovak criminal law science, whose lives have been closely linked with the complicated socio-political events of the given historical period. History of criminal law shows a strong interconnection of criminal law and policy, which consequently causes the criminal law without proper criminal law science and criminology to be the most politically affected branch of law. For this dissertation is symptomatic the search for critical causes and factors that lead to progress or, on the contrary, to the decline of criminal law. Criminological aspects of drug criminality Drug criminality is a big problem of current time and it concerns all of us regardless of sex, age or social status. The topic of drug criminality is very wide though. This diploma thesis focuses in more detail on the current and very dangerous phenomenon of drugs in transport. The main target of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive summary about the psychoactive drugs which are used by the drivers most frequently, to analyse in detail their properties and effects and to describe, which influence the particular types of psychoactive drugs have on the physical and mental state of driver and which changes in his behaviour these drugs cause. The thesis is divided into introduction, four main chapters and conclusion. The first chapter is focused on the explanation of some basic terms which are used in the thesis. Legal, Social and Criminogenic Aspects of Alcoholism

This bachelor thesis deals with alcohol dependence, and what problems this dependence has. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine the influence of alcohol dependence on the individual's social status and, above all, on what social problems are most often encountered by people dependent on alcohol. Equally important is to find out what the relationship between increased alcohol consumption and crime is, and what crime is most often done under the influence of alcohol. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part, with the help of specialized literature, defines the characteristics of alcoholism. Furthermore, it is important in the theoretical level to describe the legal, social and criminogenic aspects of alcoholism. In the practical part, the work goes in social and criminogenic direction. Alcohol-dependent social problems were identified through questionnaires. Research on alcohol-related crime was carried out through analyzes of statistical documents of the Police of the Czech Republic.
Reflection of relationships experiences by women in imprisonment

This diploma thesis makes use analytical methods of the Grounded theory to explore the theme "Reflection of relationship experiences by women in imprisonment". The goal of this thesis is qualitatively describing relationship experiences by women offenders of criminal activity and contribute to a deeper understanding of the psychosocial aspects of crime. Because the method of Grounded theory is chosen, which in a qualitative way makes it significant. Methods of data collection were chosen in the form of an interview and test method of the Thematic- apperceptive test. The research sample consists of five women, who are in the prison. Three levels of coding were used to analyze the interviews. The TAT analysis was followed by a qualitative method in the form of interpretation. The main topics covered include unsatisfied childhood relationships, rejection of guilt, the use of neutralizing techniques to maintain a positive self- image and passive role in life. Criminological and social aspects of juvenile delinquency

The aim of this thesis called "Criminological and social aspects of juvenile deliquency" is to map the occurrence of criminal behavior of juveniles in Jindřichův Hradec district depending on the social class of family. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part first defines criminological aspects of juvenile deliquency and then deals with etiology of juvenile deliquency. Practical part is based on the research. For the quantitative research, a statistical method was used. Analysis of the documents was used as a data collecting technique. The sample examined are juveniles (15 18 yr. old) who have a record in the evidence of curators for children and juveniles in Jindřichův Hradec district. An overview of juvenile criminal activities in years 2011 2016 was drawn up based on the research. Hypotheses were determined in the research: H1: I suppose that in families with unfavorable economical and social conditions there will be more frequent occurrence of deliquent behavior amongst juveniles. H1a: I suppose that in families with unfavorable economical and social conditions there will be more frequent occurrence of property deliquent behavior amongst juveniles. Chosen hypotheses were confirmed. Research shows that juveniles from socially weaker classes are more prone to deliquency and criminality. These juveniles also had higher frequency of occurrence of property deliquency and crimes.
Crimes committed against the retired

The bachelor thesis deals with the violence against seniors. The purpose of the thesis is to analyse and reflect this problematic issue. The theoretical part of the thesis is focusing on the role of seniors in society in general, criminality and its formation, crime prevention, and its possible solution. The practical part of the thesis is aim at the method of qualitative research. The data collection method is aiming at frequency of violence against seniors in each region. On the basis of interviews with attacked seniors, the assumptions, aforementioned in the theoretical part, have been confirmed and, specially, the easiness of its formation. The result may be helpful in setting an objective view on causes of the victimization of seniors (process in which a person, usually old, become a victim of a crime) and may serve as a prevention against these types of crimes.
Fight against "dishonest elements" in Lišov at 1875-1914

The Bachelor thesis focuses on crime in the late 19th and early 20th century in the South Bohemian town Lišov. The first part of thesis briefly describes the administration of justice in the monitored period and the criminal theory, therefore, the laws that the judicial authorities to follow. The second part is dedicated to the main theme of this thesis, namely to Lišov and offenses committed on its territory. After the introduction to the history of the city, the local government and persons of police officers followed a main part of thesis, namely the analysis of various crimes in terms of both theoretical and practical.
