SMV-2019-68: Implementation of advanced management and Implementation of optomechanical module
Šerý, Mojmír
During the contract research work, a module for dynamic detection of vertical position of the substrate based on quadrature detection of astigmatic properties of laser diode beams and a module for advanced exposure control for writing in vector mode were created. Both modules were implemented in the apparatus and their function verified
RaspberryPI camera checker
Bubeník, Martin ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the industrial inspection of correctly made connectors based on computer recognition, and the detection and recognition application is implemented in Python on the Raspberry Pi platform. The work uses empirically known OpenCV library for recognition. The work also deals with the selection of suitable hardware devices, which are a camera with a lens and an illuminator, from which is created one compact device together with the Raspberry Pi microcomputer. The compact device is further mounted on the designed mechanical structure under which is created inspection zone. Finally, Raspberry Pi has a web-based user interface to check the inspection and the interface to write the data to the database.
The analysis of limits for multimode fibre imaging

Design of Monitoring Tower for targetry and laser focusing
Virostková, Kristína ; Kaiser, Jozef (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
The final thesis was created in cooperation with the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences and European Laser Centre ELI Beamlines. It focuses on design of monitoring device for laser target observation in a high-performance laser particle accelerator. Details of scanning and positioning system designated for operation in UHV environment are presented in this thesis. Design changes were performed in scanning system in order to achieve more effective scanning. Positioning system, consisting of precise linear and rotary motors, is newly designed device with high precision positioning under 1 µm in direction of each axis. The purpose of monitoring device is to improve overall scanning precision, shorten targeting process, and increase user comfort.
The set of tutorial programs
Vaculík, Jakub ; Křivák,, Petr (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
With increasing demands for transit capacity of data networks as well as communication network optical networks seem to be the suitable solution. Light beam is attractive to use for data transmission . Transmitted data can be expressed by means of light impuls.. For execution of the project we need the whole optical telecommunical system which consists of transmitter, transmission link and receiver. The target of transmission link is to transfer optical beam from its resourse to detector with minimal losses. The optical fibre or optical freespace optical link FSO are used for this purpose. This thesis discusses basic effects that accompany these roads. The program that is created in this study clearly shows and describes the dependence of these phenomena on the individual input parameters. It is designed for students so that they can better imagine how these phenomena take place.

Optical response of magnetic materials
Wagenknecht, David ; Ostatnický, Tomáš (advisor)
David Wagenknecht: Abstract of a diploma thesis Optical response of magnetic materials, 2014 Magnetooptical properties of anisotropic semiconductors are studied to describe asymmetry of Ga1−xMnxAs, because theoretical calculations predict extraordinary behaviour of reflectivity. Analytical formulae to describe materials with non-diagonal permittivity are derived and they are used for the numerical calculations to describe the optical response of the samples available for the measurement. The transversal Kerr effect is calculated and it exhibits asymmetry in both rotation of the plane of polarization and ellipticity of circularly polarized light due to asymmetry in reflectivity. Moreover, longitudinal and polar magnetization are studied because of the influence on the observability of the phenomena. Results are not only used to discuss conditions, which must be satisfied to prove the asymmetry, but also the actual experimental setup is designed to prepare the measurement. 1
