Protection of goods in logistics

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of external risk factors consequences on goods regard to its characteristics, length and complexity of transport chains in national and international transport. This thesis looks at the methods of protection of goods together with process of loading, reloading, unloading, packaging, labelling, stowing and securing of goods for transportation, storage and handling. In the end it deals with the logistics chain of chocolate and its raw materials pointing at stress risks and its protection. The first chapter describes the significance of international transport and it defines goods characteristics, external risk factors and transport chains. The second chapter deals with technologies in logistics. The third and fourth chapter study packaging and system of protection. The fifth chapter contains information about cargo stowing and securing in means of transport. The last chapter deals with logistics chain of chocolate and its raw materials, starting with growing cocoa beans in Africa and ending in Czech retail store.

Air cargo as a mean of international freight

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to focus on basic issues of international air freight. The theoretical part decribes brief history with most important moments and conventions. Furthermore it's followed by specification of the air freight transportation, mechanism of logistic chain, hub and spoke system, making of transport rates with functions of air waybill and as well as familiarization of the most important companies in this sector with the bussiest cargo airports in the world. Practical part contains the introduction of the freight forwarding company Czech Sky Cargo and it's services. In the end, the specific examples of export and import examples are presented in addition to describe the "door to door" process.

Use handling equipment in storage selected store chain

Bachelor's thesis was prepared under proper completion of bachelor´s degree of Transport and Handling equipment for Agricultural University of South Bohemia in the České Budějovice. Bachelor's thesis focuses on transportation and handling equipment that is used in commercial networks Bauhaus. Due to the connection handling equipment with storage technology in this work also included the issue of storage and palletizing. The work introduces the reader to various types of handling equipment, options handling, storage of materials and resources that are needed for this aktivity. But not with the internal functions of the technical solution to handling. Describes options for efficient use of space for storage of materials, or the recommended solution. The individual chapters of this work is described and the topic is an example of the graphics solution. In conclusion, the author compares the set objectives of the project with the results. There is also advice on how to make this work further and develop it further.

The bachelor thesis deals with the use of modern handling devices and means in agriculture. It points out the new trends in agricultural handling and evaluates existing handling devices and means in a particular agricultural farm. One chapter focuses on determining the impact factors and on this basis and based on the evaluation of the existing handling devices and means, it attempts to propose possible changes that would lead to improve the current situation. At the end of the paper, there is a list of handling devices and means that can be encountered in agriculture.

The analysis of the occupational safety on the farm when using handling equipment and instruments.

This bachelor thesis handles with the analysis of the risks, harms, injuries and the occupational safety on the farm when using handling equipment and instruments. First of all, single handling equipment and instruments with a short description are introduced. This thesis deals then with the analysis of the causes, when the injuries happen. On the basis of this study suggestions and principles are stated. This suggestions and principles are used to eliminate these risks and occupational safety assurance. Also the prevention contributes to the securing of the occupational safety to a large degree.

Analysis of safety at work on a agricultural farm with use of hadlings devices.

This master thesis deals with safety at work issues and job-related injuries concerning MHL (manual handling of loads). Job-related injury is caused by a set of several interoperating factors. These factors are considered to be a main cause of job-related injuries. Work safety conditions refer to a hundreds of legal regulations (laws, decrees, orders of government, EU regulations). The most important factor in safety at work conditions is prevention. The obligation to asses risks is one of the base principals of preventive policy which is applied in all EU countries. The aim of this thesis is to determine the rules and recommendations for agricultural companies. These rules are based on analysis of factors which leads to causes of job-related injuries. The recommendations and rules this thesis imply can be used as guidelines for prevention of job-related injuries.

The paper defines the main characteristics of the loads and requirements for their handling. In another part of the work is focused on the analysis of industrial equipment that are currently on the market. The work is an overview of loading operations linked to the appropriate handling equipment and handling devices. There are listed the factors that positively or negatively affect handling during loading operations.

Usage of Bobath´s concept in adults

The thesis is focused on Berta and Karel Bobath´s kinesiotherapeutical approach {--} Bobath´s concept. Bobath´s concept is diagnostic-therapeutical approach which deals with problems of patients with disorders of function, movement and postural control due to a lesion of the central nervous system. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the clarifying of basic terms as: the history and the development of the concept, the theory of motor control, the problems of patients with the stroke, individual therapeutical tools of the concept, and a current view of Bobath´s concept.The goal of the thesis is to detect what is the current knowledge of this approach in physiotherapeuthical society. There was used the quantitative research method, the questioning survey with using the questionnaire. Target group of physiotherapists was 52.
