Technical-economic models of waste-to-energy plants
Čech, Martin ; Touš, Michal (referee) ; Pavlas, Martin (advisor)
Main principle of the thesis is to create technical-economic model of municipal waste-to-energy plant. This model is suitable for different technical parameters of various incinerators and there is not necessary to create new model for each new incinerator. The model also includes basic economic aspects of technology and service of the municipal waste incinerator. The importance of municipal waste incinerator construction, their current situation and planned future in Czech Republic are also mentioned in the thesis.
Solution technology of cooling tower component
Dobiáš, Radek ; Kubík, Roman (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The content of this diploma thesis is solution of production technology of cooling tower component. A model the cooling tower according to customer specifications is designed. There are selected 2 plates from steel construction that will be machined by plasma cutting. The technology of production of the plates is also proposed. Technical and economic evaluation of production compares 2 versions of plate production using unconventional metal cutting methods.
Technology of production part body of flap
Keprt, Michal ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The goal of the work is to design the manufacturing process of the flap closure body weldment, which is to be produced with company Sevcik - Water Equipment Ltd. First, the flap closure is modelled with the 3D SolidWorks, according to technical documentation from the company. Furthermore, the welded construction has been analysed. In this work, the body weldment production technology and complete fabrication technological process of individual components and final assembly is described. The technical and economic evaluations are calculated and the cost of production has been quantified. The production of individual components, machining costs, and other relevant costs are included into the consideration. These calculations predict a compatible production.
A lay-out of production technology and production line for manufacturing of pistons
Vilhelm, Michal ; Pešek, Petr (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This final thessis deals with the complex technological preparation of pistons manufacture,ie, technological preparation and technological part of project preparation. The content of production technological preparation is to determine the number and sequence of technological operations, control plans, selection of appropriate production machines using progressive production methods, design tools and jigs for clamping pistons and the choice of cutting conditions for machining individual operations. Technological preparation of production specify the relationships between individual elements of the manufacturing system, ie the spatial machines distribution and operation times requirements, technology, handling, control, and other activities with maximum use of automation to increase productivity and economic efficiency of production process. The aim is to design an optimal piston technology for maximum productivity and production frugality.
Finishing milling of accurate surface
Šimonek, Ondřej ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to find a suitable cutting tool and suitable cutting conditions for the production of hydrostatic surfaces of a crossmember with the quality of the surface structure of Ra 0.8 mm. The technology described in the thesis deals with finishing hydrostatic surfaces by milling, with the quality of the surface structure of Ra 0.8mm. As the production method cutting operations using CNC machines is used. To assure the quality of the surface insert tools are used, which are selected and evaluated based on experimental testing from six different suppliers. The technological process of production solves the problem of the hydrostatic surface production from the first gripping all the way to the final manufacture of the surfaces.
Technological aspects of cutting of rolled materials
Kubla, Dalibor ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Prokop, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with separation of metallurgical materials focused on cutting and other general methods of material separation. The aim of this thesis is to focus on cutting of rolled material by saw, specification of technological aspects of cutting of rolled materials, techno-economic analysis of the problem
Manufacturing technology of the distance washer
Dvořák, Jiří ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
This master’s thesis has been elaborated as a part of master’s studies of engineering technology M2I-K, major in M-STM – Engineering technology and industrial management and deals with the problem of a transition to a self-production of previously purchased distance washers. Distance washers were purchased in six different types of similar shape, each type in four different thicknesses. One of these types was chosen as a representative for this master’s thesis. We shall explore the possibilities of self-production with the emphasis on economical validation of the transition. The distance washer is a flat part, the intermediate being sheet metal. Technologies considered for manufacturing the washers correspond to the technical facilities and equipment available at the production hall of the company this project is planned for. The company possesses technology for CO2 laser cutting, cutting by CNC punching machine and cutting in the punching tool. To provide a complex overview we shall also enquire into cooperated technologies such as water jet and plasma cutting, oxy-acetyleny cutting and CNC working. All options are evaluated with regard to the production expenses and lead to a most economically plausible method of manufacturing or, if need be, give reasons for going back to purchasing the part from the current supplier.
Production single parts from sheet metal
Smutný, Petr ; Špaček, Jindřich (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
PETR SMUTNÝ: Production single parts from sheet metal. Diploma assert of daily magisterial`s studies, study programme INDUSTRY. The branch manufacturing technology, level 2, 2nd form, academical year 2010/2011, study group 60. FME of Brno University of Technology, department of forming and plastics, May 2011, 65 pages, 9 tables, 3supplements. The theme of this diploma assert is suggestion technology of production drawn part with plange by plat forming. The component is made from the steel sheet 17240 width 1,5 mm. Drawn part is made from sheet about proportion 2000 x 1000 mm, by set of production 50 000 ps/year. For production is designed two variants of deep drawing. The komponent will be made on press CTH250 in two steps. The aim of this diploma assert is designing of suitable technology progression of production including technical documetation.

The Study of Systém and Process optimization of Service operation
Prokeš, Viktor ; Havlásek, Roman (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This thesis is oriented on the automotive industry with the focus on the domestic producer of the vehicles – the Škoda Auto Company. It describes the subject of business in the mentioned company and subsequently it refers to the current trends of the automotive market in the Czech Republic. On the basis of the analyses` results of the after-sales services allied with usage of the Škoda-products it will propose their possible future progression. Thereinafter will the thesis concentrate on the description of the existing after-sales processes focused on the „through-pass“ of the vehicle through the authorised Škoda Auto service. It deals with the analysis of the service systems in detail using the tight cohesion of them. Modern technologies used in the current vehicles put significantly higher demands on their maintenance, which call for the continual optimization of the service processes with the maximal utilisation effort of the feedback. The appropriate personnel have become the necessity. For these purposes it will be recommended the introduction of the electronic multipurpose memory devices intended for the data collection. In the next step will the after-sale-service process be described with the focus on the usage of these electronic memory vehicle-keys with the reference to the procedural simplification of the maintenance operations. The final part of the thesis will evaluate the general contribution of the proposed resolution for the service processes as well as their users.
