Online Quizzes in Information System
Čtvrtlík, Miroslav ; Skokanová, Jana (referee) ; Lampa, Petr (advisor)
The work deals with the topic of portability of test questions and creating a program unit for on-line testing. It mentions standards used for data exchange among e-learning systems and describes formats used for import and export of test questions. On the basis of gained knowledge a concept and subsequently a complex program unit for on-line testing of students were created, which matches the requirements for work with test questions, test management and evaluation and the possibility of exchanging questions with other systems.
Absence
Machač, Petr ; Marenčík, Michal (referee) ; Zet, Martin (advisor)
Video Absence reflects the findings of theoretical thesis named Boredom. The basic situation is described as lack of meaning, will, interest and feeling. Video is an attempt at poetic reflection of such situation, which is characterised as aimless searching without finding. The main tools are empty hands and different kinds of ground. The void has been overcome through the gesture related to problem of gift.
Visualization and export outputs from functional magnetic resonance imaging
Přibyl, Jakub ; Gajdoš, Martin (referee) ; Slavíček, Tomáš (advisor)
Thesis discusses the principles and methodology for measuring functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), basically the origin and use of BOLD signal types used experiments. Further attention is paid fMRI data processing and statistical analysis. Subsequent chapters are devoted to a brief description of the most common software tools used to analyze data from fMRI. The main section was to create a program in MATLAB with a detailed graphic user interface for easy visualization and export output from analyzes of fMRI data. The second half is devoted to describing the program developer and graphic user interface, including key functionality. The final section describes the application program with real data from clinical studies of dynamic connectivity and use in an international project APGem.
A comparison of effective and functional connectivity methods in fMRI
Gajdoš, Martin ; Schwarz, Daniel (referee) ; Jan, Jiří (advisor)
Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) is recent important method, used in neuroimaging. The aim of this thesis is to develop software tool for comparison of two methods for functional and effective connectivity estimation. In this thesis are described the basics of magnetic resonance imaging, fMRI, basic terms of fMRI experiments and generally are described methods of functional and effective connectivity. Then are more detailed mentioned methods of dynamic causal modeling (DCM), Granger causal modeling (GCM) and independent component analysis (ICA). Practical implementation of DCM in toolbox SMP and ICA in toolbox GIFT is also mentioned. In purpose to describe behavior of DCM and GCM in dependence on several parameters are performed Monte Carlo simulations. Then the concept and realization of software tool for simulating connectivity and comparison of DCM and GCM are described. Finally results of DCM and GCM comparison and results of Monte Carlo simulations are discussed.
Business plan
Dombrovskaya, Maria ; Svobodová, Ivana (advisor) ; Mareš, Jan (referee)
The main aim of this thesis is to create a business plan to open the e-shop with secret gifts and evaluate the viability of the plan. Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The practical part is formed on basis of theoretical information: purpose, users, principles and main points of structure of the business plan. The practical part is formed by own business plan. This part includes description of the product and owner, market, customer analysis, suppliers, competitor analysis, human resources and marketing, risk, and financial analysis. The suitability for implementation of the business plans is evaluated in conclusion of the thesis.
Education of gifted pupils
HOVORKOVÁ, Lucie
This diploma thesis deals with the education of gifted scholars in primary schools. The theoretical part explains the terms like ability, talent, gift and its kinds, models and characteristics of a gifted pupils. Additionally, it is also focused on methods of teaching and forms of education in the Czech Republic and also abroad. Finally names institutions dealing with gifted children. The practical part is focused on the survey. The main purpose of it was to get information about education and work with gifted scholars in primary schools from the perspective of teachers. Leisure Education of Gifted Children
ŠÍPOVÁ, Lenka
The thesis presents leisure education of gifted children. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part consists of basic terminology and some models and types of natural gift. Next, it deals with the characteristics and various types of gifted children, their identification, specific groups of gifted children and their usual problems. The second part of the thesis introduces the institutions and organisations which are offering leisure activities for gifted children. It presents the research about the offer of leisure activities in leisure centres and the awareness of leisure centre personnel of the gifted children issue. The third part focuses on the specifics of working with gifted children in their leisure time. It also presents the concept of leisure educators in relation to gifted children. Finally, the principles of work with gifted children and possible forms of fostering their natural gift are discussed.
Donation as a change of ownership rights
Zavacký, Radoslav ; Spirit, Michal (advisor) ; Žák, Květoslav (referee)
Main purpose of the bachelor thesis is to clarify comprehensively the donation as a change of the ownership rights. It explains the preconditions, course and specifics of donation. Further it deals with the rights and obligations of the donor and donee, from their inception to their termination. It deals with the donation contract, regarding its form, basic characteristics and requirements. Also it addresses the question of gift tax. Through the examples from law practice it occupies with issues that arise in connection with request for a refund of the gift. This is followed by considerations de lege ferenda according to the draft of the new Civil Code.
Accounting and Tax Condition of Civic Associantion
VOMELOVÁ, Petra
The aim of this theses is analysis of accounting`s conditions and links to tax law, the needs and requirements of accounting in civil associations. For the implementation of the chosen problem into practice was selected civic association OS Stavba ČR. The work focuses on legislative conditions in areas of tax, i.e.. income tax, value added tax, road-traffic tax, real estate tax and gift, inheritance and real estate-tranfer tax. Each tax was analyzed in three views to make them well-arranged: view of the law, the accounting and the practice. The most attention in the practical part of this work is paid to the corporate income tax. Because legislation governing this tax is the most complicated and is therefore placed emphasis on requirements to process background papers and is the most different for organisations involved in the non-profit activities.
Ethical problems of reproductive medicine
STANISLAVOVÁ, Lucie
This thesis is aimed at the ethical aspect of reproductive medicine. I tried to outline particular dilemmas dealt with by individual religions in context with medical knowledge. Elaboration of the religious part was also supported by knowledge of experts in the field. The aim of the thesis was to outline the ethical aspect of reproductive medicine. The research was aimed at showing whether young couples see ethical problems in artificial insemination nowadays and whether the ethical aspect of the issue would discourage them from this step. Quantitative method was used for the research. The method of questioning in the form of non-standardized questionnaire was chosen for the research technique. It was designed for people at productive age (from under 23 years of age through over 41) living in marriages and their partners, who are childless or have just one child. The research has shown that nearly full majority of the pairs agree with homologous insemination; however I was convinced that they might have objections against heterologous variation of artificial insemination. Nevertheless the research as well as the consequent discussion showed that the desire for a child overrides everything else at the moment, including the standpoints of the churches the pairs support and their ethical objections. The research showed the fact that a certain number of couples, if they accepted the heterologous variation of artificial insemination would prefer the donator{\crq}s anonymousness to be eliminated. However there is a question whether the anonymous donators themselves would have the same opinion. I see the contribution of this thesis in showing that desire for a child is so strong that people are ready to put their whole-life religion aside. Another plus in my opinion is at least a basic outline of opinions on the artificial insemination issues and possible objections against its heterologous variant.
