Financial analysis of AAA AUTO Group

This graduate thesis summarizes and comments the development of AAA AUTO Group during the period 2007 -- 2011. This was achieved by application of financial indicators, such as horizontal and vertical analysis, profitability, liquidity and activity indices, economic value added indicator and others. These were described in the introductory part and afterwards applied on the financial data of the Group in the second part. With their help this thesis evaluated the total economic health of the AAA AUTO Group.

Assessment of the financial situation of a particular enterprise

This bachelor thesis was focused on a financial analysing of a business entity ISOTHERM s. r. o. from the period 2006 -2010. The company operates within the manufacturing industry therefore its performance was compared with this industry in mind. Based on comparing the results I was able to make a comprehersive conclusion about the economic situation of the company. For the financial analysis I used some methods of financial analysing and some financial analysis ratios.

Analysis uses public sources and it is meant for external user. Its results allows to evaluate state of its financial health and identify causes of changes in company's results. Find threats of its financial health and present possible solutions.

For this analysis is selected company operating in the automotive industry and products for analysis are automotive components which are the core of the production program of the company. Economics and management of selected retailer

The main objective of this diploma thesis was to evaluate the economic situation in the selected retail chain, which is operating in the market of the Czech Republic. Then the Retail chain Tesco was elected for this purpose. To achieve these objectives the detailed financial analysis was realized and the intercompany comparison with competitors of this retailer was also used.

Composition of financial plan for year 2012 and executing financial analysis of a limited liability company. In composition of financial plan were used three variant -- an optimistic, a realistic and a pesimistic. Used methods of financial analysis were analysis of absolute indicators and financial ratios, including logaritmical decomposition of Return on Equity. Comparing each of those variants with reality valid on May 31, 2012.

Influence of financial crisis on managing of the particular company

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine how the management of Kamen Zbraslav, spol s.r.o. company was developed in 2007-2011 and to what extent was the company affected by financial crisis. Another objective is to evaluate the financial situation of the company. To evaluate the state of the company in particular years the methods of the financial analysis were used. This work is divided into four parts: introduction, theory, application and conclusion. Main meaning and methods of financial analysis are explained in theoretic part, in application part these methods are applied to Kamen Zbraslav company. How much has the financial crisis influenced this company is described in conclusion. Absolute, ratio and difference indicator methods are made in this thesis. Other areas the thesis is focused on are: economic value added, balance rules, bankruptcy and quality models, economic standards, decomposition of ROE and comparison with industry sector.

The practical section rests on performing financial analysis of RWE Transgas, Ltd. between years 2005 and 2010 using horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements, ratio indicators, working-capital analysis, EVA and benchmark.
