Philosophical interpretation of works of Marc Chagall

This thesis covers the interpretation of life and work of Marc Chagall, jewish painter of 20th century. Goal of the thesis is to highlight symbolic motives of his work, and later on interpret those on selected pieces. The thesis is divided into four parts. First part is devoted to the life of the painter and his jewish origin, which had a significant influence on the character of his work. Second part covers the meaning of symbols in art and religon in general. Third tries to compare Chagall's conveyance with two jewish philosophers of the dialog: E. Lévinas and F. Rosenzweig. Fourth then interprets selected pieces with philosophical or religious extent. Whole thesis is based on the conception that art is able to convey messages and interpret the world around us.
Art activities as a tool of understanding the sense of advent in the younger school age children´s leisure time.

The objective of this bachelor's work is, that younger school age children can through art activities better understand the original advent purpose. The theoretical part is focusing on leisure time definition, casual education, characteristic of the younger school age, development of cognition processes of the younger school age children and on advent, including some advent symbols. The practical part is comprised by art project, which is realized in the children´s leisure time.
Zoom basic principles of Feng-Shui for pupils in primary schools and kindergartens Zdíkov and their application in a practical project

This thesis aims to apply the basic principles of feng shui to the creative work of the pupils in art education on the first and second grade of primary schools and kindergartens in Zvíkov. The first chapter explains the concept of feng shui and it?s history. In following there are explained the basic concepts of feng shui methods, their principles and definitions in relation to the energy of matter and space. The second chapter is devoted to the practical part of the project. This chapter specifies these basic creative principles in detail, their importance and general description of the project. There is mentioned a determination of competencies and skills that student receives in art. The application of creative principles of feng shui in art education has been implemented by a random sample of the pupils. . There is also mentioned an educational history of the schools in Zvíkov and a description of the school in which the project has been established.

The aim of my Diploma thesis is find out consumers' knowledge of symbols and their images of them and consequently affect the interpretation of trends in relation to the involvement of the symbol in print advertisement. I will use the research in the form of questionnaire and content analysis. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part I describe cultural predisposition, symbols and marketing communications. In the practical part I concern with with the questionnaire and content analysis. Results from my research are that people know the symbols. The most mentioned symbol was animal. The consumers have also not problem with the meaning of the symbol. The content analysis of three types of magazines shows that most displayed symbol was figure. Recommendation for the creator of advertising is that less is sometimes more, which applies for symbols.

ABSTRACT: The thesis is focused on "Groceries with Protected Designation of Origin and Protected Geographical Indication, from central areas of France." Thesis is divided into three parts. After a brief adumbration of the topic, the description of existing protected labels and basic legislative of EU concerning this problematic will follow. The second part will be geographical, where we look closer on the position of central France and discus the list and characteristics of districts of this area. Third the most extensive part will include list and characteristics of specific grocery products protected by copyrights. The thesis contains an extended resume in French language.
Utilizing of Symbols for Marketing Communication

The diploma thesis clarifies the concrete usage of symbols in marketing communication on the base of examination of the symbol's problems and the marketing research. It was finding out by the research how the symbolism is perceived in marketing communication, how and how much are consumers influenced by symbols, if they even realize the influence, how symbols impress them, which symbols impress them positively or negatively and which symbols they prefer. From the accomplished analysis of the results of questionnaire research follows that the most of consumers realize the symbolism in marketing communication and they are able to recognize it. Respondests were able to match concrete symbols with concrete products in many cases. Different symbols cause different reactions at respondents, which depends on gender, age and education. The usage of symbolism in marketing communication has to respect definite rules and recommendation. Usage of unsuitable symbol can lead to totally different result than was planned. That is why it is necessary to be thorough and to pay attention to the usage of symbolism in marketing communication. The usage of symbols helps the product to penetrate better the awareness of consumers and mainly to ground hard and stay in their mind.
Meeting the Spiritual Needs of Disabled Persons

The diploma thesis is concerned with the spiritual needs of disabled persons. The topic is based on the psychology of personality, characterizes human needs, and defines motivation, values and interests. Basic areas of psychology of religion and religious education follow. The educational view focuses on issues associated with the religiosity of human beings seeking aims for religious education. Further chapters are dedicated to disabled persons, describe basic types of such disability and based on the author´s personal experience they show the specificities of the life of disabled persons. The second part concentrates on meeting the spiritual needs. The thematic area gives rise to the methodological proposal for the didactic opening of the spiritual needs. Several didactic units containing individual lessons for a group of disabled persons form part of the thesis.
Corporate identity and its application

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to create a logo for the Board Game Club of the University of Economics. The methods used to accomplish the goal include an investigating on how to create a successful and working logo and a study of factors which affects it such as the role of symbolism, typography and colors. The work does not just summarize facts about a corporate identity and logo, but is also valuable in creating something that is practical and usable. The first five chapters are theoretical and the last one is practical in which I am applying the gained knowledge on our Board Game Club.
Symbol and his role in human and artificial cogitation

The paper deals with a topic of symbols, and their role in process of thinking both of humans and artificial systems. Main objectives are: looking into problems of symbols and symbolizing, role of symbols in perception, and relationship between language, symbols, signs and artificial (formal) inference. Gains of this work is a complex survey to the semiotics and symbols, examination of perception, and defining of some basic problems in the topic of perception. In it's first chapter, there are an detailed comparison and examination of existing semiotics' theories, and theories of symbols commonly. Second chapter is devoted to the subject of perception, and possible role of symbols in this process. Third (and last) chapter deals with question of thinking, especially that of artificial systems, compared to human.

Diplomová práce se zabývá výzkumem symboliky v reklamě z pohledu spotřebitelů. Jako nástroje marketingového výzkumu je použito dotazníkového šetření. Ve druhé části je provedena obsahová analýza placené inzerce časopisů National Geographic a Elle. V závěrečné fázi jsou tato dvě šetření navzájem konfrontována a jsou mezi nimi hledány případné souvislosti.
