The apply digestate at operate of biogas plant agricultural type
ČÁPOVÁ, Aneta
Comparing inputs needed to operate biogas stations, this Bachelor paper focuses on the composition of digestate and on its use in five examined stations. The paper is split into two sections: theoretical and practical. The theoretical section, i.e. a summary of relevant literature, explains the basic concepts and other issues related to the biogas proper, biogas generating stations, substrates and digestates. The practical section deals with experimental data obtained from the five stations. The data were acquired through a questionnaire wherein the stations' operators described their facilities while specifying the parameters; substrates applied; methane yield figures; results of digestate analyses; and their methods of application.
Green technologies and their use in the Czech Republic
MRKVIČKOVÁ, Markéta
This Bachelor thesis on the topic of Green technologies and their use in the Czech Republic is focused on the area of renewable energy sources. Overall, it clarifies the issue of waste, to use them, and assesses the technologies implemented in the South Bohemia region, that ensure they are processed from ekononomical and ekological point of view. Processing of this Bachelor thesis is focused not only on mapping out of the current state but even on prediction of potential future development in the closing chapters of the text.
Use of the extrusion process to produce biogas from wheat straw
VERNER, Dušan
Many agricultural biogas stations process predominantly phytomass specifically grown for power engineering purposes as a primary raw material. This results in gradual increase of maize proportion in sowing sequences at the exclusion of traditional area-specific crops, which presents various potential negative effects. The aim of study is to evaluate the substitution of maize with wheat straw in the anaerobic fermentation process from the biotechnological and economic viewpoint. For this purpose, wheat straw pellets were pretreated using the high-pressure extruder in compliance with UV CZ 21314 at different runtime parameters. Cumulative methane (CH4) production in quarter-mode operation simulation, based on the extrusion pressure, cycle duration and fermentation temperature, was the main evaluation criteria. Optimal run time parameters were derived from the approximation ? extrusion pressure 1,35 MPa, reaction time 210 s, in order to achieve maximal CH4 production at mesophilic fermentation temperature (38 °C). For fermentation temperature 48 °C, optimal pressure 1,25 MPa and cycle duration 180 s were approximated. The discount rate of Net Present Value (NPV) was established as a main comparative criterion considering overall executive, legislative and technological aspects of analyzed biological effects. Based on these findings suggest, wheat straw extrusion is interesting, unconventional and profitable technology in the field of biogas production.
Technological and economic assessment of the use of extrusion of corn silage for biogas
MALÍK, Vladimír
My work assesses the technology use of corn silage extrusion for biogass production based on biological proces, technological limits, legislation and financial indicators of the biogass station. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the extrusion process. Based on the robust simulation of the experimental part we can conclude, that the pressure of 1.372 MPa probably moves close to the biotechnological optimum in the relation to the kinetics production of CH4 in certain conditions (the temperature of 38 °C, the delay time of the corn silage in the high pressure extruder CZ UV 21314 was 600 s). From the economic point of view, the assessment was carried out using the net present value (NPV), which serves as a criterion for evaluation of the profitability of investment projects. The technology seems to be a very interesting alternative not only for financial viability reasons, but also in relation to the environment.
Production and usage of biogass in South Bohemia
KALINOVÁ, Lenka
The bachelor's thesis deals in particular with comparison of biogas production in individual biogas stations in the South Bohemian Region. In addition, the thesis describes fundamental parameters such as year of commissioning, installed electric output, installed thermal output, input material and employed technologies. Based on the foregoing information, it is possible to conclude that the individual biogas stations have a positive impact not only on the utilization of the produced biogas for energy purposes but also on the environment, waste degradation, reduction of the risk of contamination and acquisition of high-quality fertilizer.
Economical and environmental aspects of biogas station in Drahobudice
Pudilová, Pavlína ; Dvořák, Antonín (advisor) ; Hadrabová, Alena (referee)
The topic of my master thesis is analysis of farm biogas station in Drahobudice. It is machinery, which processes agriculture crops and garbage from animal produce. From these substrates is produced biogas and burning of this biogas arises electric and thermal energy. This system of production from renewable resources is in accordance with demands of European union on reducing emissions from burning fossil fuels. This thesis contains overview of legislation relevant to given issue, describes development of this project, technical solution and process of operation. A part of this work also covers analysis of economic efficiency this investment and considers effects on environment. The main objective of my thesis is to identify, analyze and evaluate economical and environmental aspects of biogas station in Drahobudice.
The Biogas Production in the Agricultural Company - Case Study.
Jaša, Martin ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Čermák, Jan (referee)
In my thesis I described European and national attitudes towards the energy production from renewable sources, technology of biogas production and its usage in particular. The use of technology was described in practical, already standing and functioning project of the biogas station in Budisov at Trebic. I described the feasibility and economic efficiency of such a project. As the result of the thesis I chose to point out at the total convenience of the project not only from the economic point of view but also from the usefulness prospect for the surroundings thanks to the collateral heat creation during the biogas production. The whole work could discuss the direction which the electricity production trend could venture in the future.
