Web services and design of their implementation in DDS system for digital document order

Tématem práce je popis technologie webových služeb a jejich začlenění do systému dodání kopie digitalizovaného dokumentu (DDS) ve Státní technické knihovně. Cílem práce je objasnit princip fungování webových služeb jako prostředku pro komunikaci a přenosu informací napříč systémy, jejich aplikačm'ho využití a navrhnout řešení pomocí této technologie do zmíněného systému DDS. Technologie webových služeb je tvořena třemi základními komponentami - komunikačním protokolem SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), dokumentem pro jejich popis WSDL (Web Services Description Language) a registry služeb UDDI (Universa! Description, Discovery, and Integration). Tento komunikační a funkční model je vystavěn na značkovacím jazyku XML, jehož část týkající se webových služeb je v práci popsána. Jde o problematiku syntaxe XML, definice datových typů, jmenné prostory a schémata XML. Součástí práce je rovněž přehled o systému DDS obecně a popis a analýza stávajícího řešení systému DDS Státní technické knihovny. Na základě popisu funkcionality webových služeb je zpracován návrh do sytému DDS Státní technické knihovny ve formě WSDL dokumentu, který by mohl sloužit jako základ pro skutečnou implementaci webových služeb v STK. Bullying in the Lower Grades of Primary Schools

This thesis deals with bullying in elementary schools. The theoretical part describes forms and causes of bullying within a group of pupils. It presents features of aggressors and victims of bullying and also some of the most common attitudes made by teachers, schools and parents and their opinions of this problem. Further, the thesis states specific ways of how bullying could be diagnosed, investigated and treated. It also suggests sanctions and educational precautions for the bullies. The practical part depicts a research that was aimed to monitor the extent of bullying in chosen classes of elementary level and to examine to what degree children are informed about this problem. Finally, the last chapter presents defined suggestions and recommendations for primal bullying prevention in the classroom based on the research results and theoretical knowledge as formerly discussed.

Qeustions of open source licenses in public administration

Cílem práce je poskytnout pohled na celou problematiku open source, především z úhlu jeho využití ve státní správě. Úvod práce se zabývá především pojmem open source jako takovým, dále uvádí nejčastěji používané open-source licence a podrobněji se jim věnuje. Následují teoretické výhody a nevýhody open-source softwaru oproti softwaru s uzavřeným kódem a tuto část uzavírá krátká analýza současného rozsahu využití open-source licencovaných aplikací. Další část se pak zabývá praktickými příklady využití tohoto softwaru ve státní správě, specifiky této oblasti a konečně i vývojem k němuž zde dochází.

Jak ovlivňuje nasazení podnikového systému úspěšné podnikání firmy

Cílem práce je podat ucelený přehled o systémech ERP (včetně jejich rozšíření), popsat přínosy jednotlivých modulů systému ERP, obecně představit metriky použitelné pro kvantifikaci nákladů a přínosů informatiky a uvést některá jejich specifika. Dalším samostatným cílem je popsat a okomentovat variabilitu názvosloví napříč celou prací. Celá práce tak přináší přehledný popis systému typu ERP a poskytuje základní orientaci v problematice metrik a měření podnikové informatiky. Práce je rozdělena do několika oblastí. První část se zabývá problematikou informační společnosti a informací. Druhá část mapuje vývoj podnikových informačních systémů (PIS) a jejich typy z hlediska způsobu pořízení. Popisuje současný stav dané oblasti a uvádí některé vyhlídky do budoucnosti. Třetí celek, dekompozice PIS, se zabývá dvěmi složkami PIS, kterými jsou lidé a ERP systémy. V případě lidí uvádí jejich vlastnosti, u ERP pak vlastnosti, skladbu a popis funkcí jednotlivých modulů. Čtvrtá, poslední a nejrozsáhlejší část, přibližuje problematiku měření IS/IT. Konkrétně jsou uvedeny problematiky měření nákladů, přínosů. V závěru je popsána problematika úzce provázaná s měřením a řízením IS/IT. Práci je vypracována metodou rešerše informačních zdrojů a doplněna o závěry ze studia příslušné literatury.

ITIL and its Possibility of Utilization in the SMB

Práce se zabývá možnostmi využití nejlepších praktik ITIL v prostředí malých a středních podniků (SMB). Hlavním smyslem je pak zhodnocení ITIL z pohledu SMB sektoru a nalezení styčných ploch, které jsou pro tyto firmy aplikovatelné. Jednotlivé kapitoly se pak věnují konkrétním cílům. První obsahová kapitola definuje pojmy a uvádí čtenáře do problematiky. Text se postupně zaměřuje na problematiku malých a středních firem, jejich ekonomické situace a manažerského přístupu. Další část je věnována stručnému popisu knihovny ITIL. Poslední část této kapitoly se zaměřuje na význam vyspělosti procesů pro firmy i ITIL. Druhá kapitola popisuje stav ITSM a IT governance v malých a středních firmách, nastiňuje problémy, kterým tato oblast čelí. Jsou zde také vybrány některé IT procesy, které by mohly být podporovány ITIL. Poslední obsahová kapitola se věnuje popisu vybraných ITIL procesů, způsobu jejich zavedení v SMB firmách a některým omezením. Na konci je okrajově zmíněn software pro podporu ITIL procesů. Největší autorův přínos lze spatřovat ve faktu, že se dané problematice vůbec věnoval. K dané problematice existuje jen velmi málo relevantních zdrojů. Autor ve své práci využívá nejen je, ale i zdroje z oblasti managementu či ekonomiky. Autorovy závěry jsou kromě literatury postaveny i na jeho zkušenostech z praxe.

Due to a signifikant development of computer networks in the last few years the demands for measurement of network metrics increased. This master´s thesis is dealing with standards for testing and test techniques used for the measurement of network metrics. Further it compares the existing free accessible measurement tools and metrics measures them. Finaly the thesis draws up a web application for measurement of the basic network metrics.

The aim of the thesis is the basic characteristic of the functioning of EU structural policy and the Czech Republic. The theoretical part deals with the history of the EU, the development of EU structural policy, including tools for its application and continuity of structural policy in the Czech Republic after accession to the EU. The practical part of the thesis presents the completed project Leat Tasovie, which was co-funded by the European Union under the Operational Programme Environment.

Language of Primary School Pupils

This work deals with contemporary speech elementary school pupils. The theoretical part of the author accesses the current terminology of unstructured language services, defines the term speech of students in relation to the slang and presents the basic characteristics of speech of pupils and their holders. The material from witch the author builds vocabulary to describe student speech, was acquired through long-term academic research environment. Based on the examination of the recovered materials, the author of several significant conclusions concerning the speech of students. Speech students include specific language statement, which wants pupils to show their unique relationship with the school and the world around them. New words, they create, are a reflection of how the school and, upon it, are experiencing. For the speech of students is typical naming considerable ingenuity, applied in a number of her naming practices. In addition to the traditional derivation is a common distortion and mechanical reduction. Many is the transfer of meaning, especially metaphorical and acceptance of foreign languages. The Problem of Acquisition of State Territory

This Bachelor thesis "The problem of acquisition of state territory" is concerned with the modes of acquisition of state territory at present and in the past. The first part of the thesis introduces the definition criteria, as is explained by the modern public international law, and makes reference to international treaties, which codified these criteria. The second part clarifies the three-dimensional scope of state territory (terrestrial space, air-space and sub- terrestrial space), as well as it outlines the classification of state territory according to their size and shape. The main part of the thesis is devoted to individual modes of territory acquisition - original (effective occupation, accession, accretion) as well as derivative (cession, prescription, adjudication, annexation). The thesis presents specific examples of every above mentioned mode. In the case of accession, it is shown on the volcanic island Sabrina in the Atlantic Ocean, dating back to 1811; accretion is described by the example of Macao in far-east Asia; cession is demonstrated by the case of Alaska, purchased by the United States from Russia in 1867.
